This was such a wonderful place to bring your pets. Dr. Valentine was ALWAYS HONEST!!!!!!! The new Dr. we have been using is great and I never had a problem really until this month when i was suckered into $80 over the quoted price and a procedure. And also I did end up paying for a procedure that I said I for sure didnt need while making the appt. After all said and done....I was crying that I have to find another place to take my 3 doggies. Although I spend approx. $2000.00 every year at this vet, the practicing manager Sara was rude, unproffessional and unreasonable all the way to the end while i stood my ground that what they did was unacceptable! She did not care to lose us as clients over an $80 bait and switch, not including the othe $40 procedure that I did end up paying extra on. Shame on Blue Cross Pet Hospital for hiring her and allowing her to screw pet owners over!!! Im not the only one....a cat owner has a similar story from around the time Sara was hired! Read Less

I have had all great experiences with this pet hospital.  Rates are very reasonable.  Recently my furry friend was diagnosed with congestive heart failure and he was seen by Dr Raymond.  She made me very comfortable with the decision I had to make and did not try to upsell me on medications and treatments which would only put off the inevitable.  I highly recommend both her and Dr Favre as Willy had been seen by both.  IMHO the best place to bring your pets for care. I have been a client with Blue Cross for many years now and I find them to be be a caring group of veterinarians who have been there for me and my dogs through many a difficult illness and decision making process. I especially would like to recommend Dr. Roberta Raymond as a superior surgeon and empathetic vet. I also appreciate the fact that she will work with me as a team in conjunction with my other holistic vets to get the best of both Western and Alternative treatments for my animals- this requires a willingness to set aside one's ego - often hard to find in the veterinary profession in my opinion. Feeling down as I type this review as Mimi the Wondercat may have feline leukemia. We brought her here today around 5:30 pm and had a short wait until she saw the vet. This being our second visit, I've always been impressed with the vets here - she even went to get a second opinion from the other vet. (I should've gotten their names!). After having spent a good half hour or so with us, it was determined that bloodwork and urine samples were needed, claws trimmed and antibiotics prescribed. Everything came to $270 (yikes!) but I can afford it now as I'm finally gainfully employed. I'll just have to forgo some nice meals and a new pair of shoes. But then, NOTHING is too much for my furry baby. The waiting room had two kittens in a large play cage of sorts waiting to be adopted and the local Manx vet cat (for lack of a better word) strolling around checking out the patients. While waiting, you can read the latest issues of Cat Fancy, Dog Fancy and Bark. Fingers crossed that the results will turn out okay. I'll know by tomorrow morning what will be in store for us.
