Christina at the front desk provides horrible service. She is rude, insensitive, and lacks knowledge. Christina is the one who does not greet people in a friendly manner. She does not recognize and evaluate a situation in scheduling to know if situation is critical and needs immediate attention. She does not relay information to veterinarian, technician, or someone who is knowledgeable and better suited to access the situation. If customer has a follow up question or concern such as after a recent visit or procedure earlier in the same week, Reagor Pet Hospital does not provide guidance, assistance, or support without having customer make another appointment. Be aware, if you do not ask all your questions at time of appointment then Reagor Pet Hospital will require customer to make another appointment to answer question. Information does not get relayed to veterinarian or qualified individual to evaluate or respond to your question to comfort and ease customer's mind. Customer just gets told from front desk person of next available appointment regardless of symptoms and if patient can wait until next available appointment or if immediately attention is necessary. If you have a question or concern, it stops with Christina at the front desk who does not know anything regarding pet care and will only offer you next opening available on appointment book. Due to the poor and unfriendly service from front desk person as well as not having a qualified person doing the scheduling, I would not recommend Reagor Pet Hospital. I located another local pet hospital nearby that has a knowledgeable and friendly front desk person who addresses my questions and concerns and schedules accordingly. If the front desk person is not able to answer question then question will be forwarded to veterinarian. I receive a return call within a reasonable amount of time to ease my concern. The service I receive from this other local pet hospital is what I would expect from a the veterinary hospital I choose for my pet's care and well being. Read Less

Too funny. My long hair Dachshund Hedwig was taken to the back for nails and a blood test. She came back with a Mohawk. I LOVE this hospital. My stepmom's dog is a shit tzu and he had scratched his back terribly. They treated him, my step mom and myself with the utmost respect and care. They offered plenty of options for medications and were completely upfront and thorough with the exam. We found out that the puppy is going blind because of fur being in his eyes!! I love this place.My pup got fixed there today and I had the most amazing staff. Amanda, Angela and of course Dr Trip. we're so incredibly nice to me and my pup. I was scared and nervous about the procedure even tho they fix animals all the time, but I'm the paranoid mama that called ever 1.5 hours checking on him. Some of the staff have been there for years like Brian and they make you and your pet feel very welcome. They go beyond caring for your furry babies with the best card and follow up. Dr. Hart is my favorite vet but the other vets there are great too. Christina the front desk always takes care of everyone. They are flexible and are able to work in my dogs or cats that need a same day visit. Been going to them for about 6 years now. My 17-year-old cat was having some urinary problems. They did some testing and gave me medication for her and it's working already! The staff is very friendly, The vet is very knowledgeable and it was as good an experience as it could've been for me at least, Of course the cat wouldn't think so. I highly recommend these people! I want to take this opportunity to extend the deepest of gratitude for Dr. Hart and her staff during the time our sweet Rocco was in our lives. You see, our Rocco was a rescue at the age of 10 weeks old. He grew into a sweet boy and very loving. In Feb2016 his legs became paralyzed which we found required surgery ( back). Dr. Hart helped coordinate this for us with UC Davis. Dr. Hart provides his post-surgical care and after he recovered he had a seizure which we found he had brain cancer. He also had cancer in his prepuce region. Over the course 2016 Dr. Hart and her staff watched after Rocco in his care as well as in follow up wellness calls. He did pretty well for a time however, He finally came to a place where the quality of his life was not there anymore. At the last visit with Dr. Hart she was honest enough to let us know subtly .. that it was probably time. We knew too. In August, we brought our sweet Rocco home for a couple more days. On the day we ended his suffering, Dr. Faith was there for all of us. This process was done with such compassionate and humility. We know this was not easy for her. We will forever be grateful to Dr. Hart, Dr. Faith and the rest of the staff for loving our Sweet Rocco too and doing everything they could to be there for our boy. I can only imagine how difficult their job can be at times but hope they feel rewarded when they understand how instrumental they are to those lives they touch and care for. We have had three different cats treated here over the years, and have been really happy with their care.  Dr. Faith seems to understand that finances sometimes dictate what we can do for our pets, and always lays out options available before treatment, without laying on a massive guilt trip if we chose to avoid a more expensive treatment.  She is truly kind and caring, as is the rest of the staff there. Great vet hospital. My dog is usually scared and has to have a muzzle on during visits, but their team was so friendly and patient with her she did not need a muzzle and was wagging her tail the whole time. Also the price was fair compared to other hospitals. Read Less

During the last 24 years Reagor's has treated my 5 dogs and 2 fosters. They are, without a doubt, the finest hospital I've found. Over the years my pets have all received quality, compassionate care. Since Dr. Hart came aboard she has been able to balance my special-needs dogs' requirements within my income limits--while never sacrificing their care. I was a client for 24 years until I moved to PA this year. I wish I could have brought Reagor Pet Hospital with me when I moved. It is the finest pet hospital I know. They provided outstanding service to our six dogs over the years. They kept my dogs in vibrant health and also saved one dog's life in an emergency situation. The staff is knowledgeable, friendly, and caring. While I loved Dr. Reagor, the hospital has surpassed even his high standards since Dr. Hart has taken over. I've always called Dr. Hart and Dr. Faith my lucky charms for keeping our beloved elderly dogs healthy and comfortable. My Angel, a stray I adopted had various health issues and with Dr. Hart's care she stayed active and happy to live 17 and a half years! Childless, my husband and I think of our dogs as our children. We know we don't love them as much as parents love their children--but it feels like it to us. You can safely trust your beloved pets to this hospital--you couldn't find better care. I had a horrible experience with this facility. I got a new dog (2 to 3 years old). I had her spayed; a week later she had an infection; I made an appointment with a vet; a tech said she was licking (and she wasn't); they said because I only had a ?tech? appointment and the doctors were booked solid they couldn't give me any antibiotics; I had to leave; a friend gave me left-over antibiotics from her dog; I sent Reagor an email describing my unhappiness; the surgeon called that evening (12 days after the surgery) ?just to see how she was doing? but claimed she had not seen my email. I repeated my story and Reagor prescribed antibiotics ""without seeing my dog"" and then told me that the chart said a doctor had seen my dog and noted on the chart that ""should my dog get worse they would prescribe antibiotics."" They have never called to see how she was doing after they precribed antibiotics. The shots, chip and spay cost was over $600.00. I don't know, it seems like someone wrote in the file after the fact. These vets did a bone biopsy on my dog. They actually did it twice after they figured out which was the left hind leg and which was the right. Accidents happen, but the aftermath of the whole issue was that the office manager (the owner's wife) tried to go back on the deal we had made to "make it right" and then asked me to take my animal somewhere else. I was a huge fan of this place for general upkeep of my pet - shots and checkups and the like, but when he got sick, it exposed a real lack of skill and empathy on the part of the vets and management. My dog ended up dying due to the bone cancer they were stumbling over themselves trying to diagnose. There probably wasn't a lot that could have been done if it were diagnosed sooner, but we will never know now. Read Less

When I called Reagor Pet Hospital they were very understanding and did their best to comfort me and help me through the process. I cannot tell you how much I appreciate the great time and care and attention to detail that was spent with my dog when if had sever skin problems that had been going on for years. We never seemed to get on top of the problem, but Dr. "B" really looked over our pet carefully, asked lots of questions and gave us hope. We followed her recommendations, gave the medications as instructed, changed her food and our little dog is not miserable anymore. We also received follow up phone calls from the office to check on our pet and to see if we had any questions. We recommend our friends with other furry ones to this hospital all the time. Thank you. I called on a tuesday at 8 am and needed my cat to be seen for an ongoing urinary problem that i couldnt get resolved at my current hospital that was too busy to get me in the same day. I moved to Carmichael after years of living in OC and was looking for a friendly vet to take my active Mini-American Eskimo to for general vaccines and emergency visits. When I was running on the American River Trail a couple of women with equally pamperred pets referred me to Reagor which happened to be between my condo and my running trail. They are open Saturdays (by appointment), reasonable prices, and the people who work there are friendly. What I like about them the most is after reviewing my Eskie's medical history they advised me that my previous vet was over-vaccinating her. I have never had a vet be honest about regular treatments like that. I adopted a kitty a few months ago and just made an appointment for her physical Saturday and will schedule her to be fixed next week. Read Less
