I learned about Castro Valley Companion Animal Hospital from the rescue organization who we adopted our dog from. I am so glad that the organization was using CVCAH for our dog's treatment as they are a wonderful animal hospital who really cares about the health and well-being of your pet. When first adopting our dog we had considered taking her to a different vet who is a bit closer to our home, but after getting input from the rescue org and meeting with the staff it was a very easy decision to keep bringing our dog to CVCAH.

CVCAH is the best clinic around. I've been to many clinics, and worked at a few even, and this team is incredible. Both doctors are great, all the techs and assistants are friendly, helpful, and kind. I've never felt uncomfortable, taken advantage of, or anxious about taking my service dog to CVCAH. They are INCREDIBLE and I love them all!

Companion Animal Hospital is the BEST! They are fully prepared to provide the best care for all types of animals. One day I was there with my cat and a rabbit, a parrot and a large dog were all there for help. The staff is great with animals and know exactly how to deal with a frightened pet. The VETS are the best: friendly,skilled, and willing to do whatever it takes to care for our pets. This is a 5 star vet service!

The vets (and techs) here are amazing. They're knowledgeable and compassionate. Dr. G calls to check up on my diabetic cat just about every day (he's still in the process of stabilizing), even if the practice is closed. Dr. B once stayed late to see him, and was with us for an hour answering questions. Downsides are a tiny parking lot and no weekend hours, but the upsides far outweigh the minuses for our family.

I have been going to CVCAH for many years, and have been very happy with Dr. Gandolfi and his staff. Their professionalism, knowledge and caring go above and beyond the usual. I've laughing said on more than one occasion that I'd wish I could find people doctor's with their skills. :) If you want the best for your pets, you can't do better than Dr. Gandolfi and Companion Animal Hospital.

I am so glad that the organization was using CVCAH for our dog's treatment as they are a wonderful animal hospital who really cares about the health and well-being of your pet.
