All the vets there are excellent. They have taken care of all my critters, from the care of very young kittens to end of life care with my sweet geriatric dog. Thank you Dr. Hardy and staff! My poor old guy had a suspected foxtail and my regular vet had no way to see him today... Eden got him in and Dr. Hardy was able to do a quick job extracting the foxtail. They were all so kind to him, and Dr. hardy was really great about explaining everything. They even gave me an estimate of costs, then knocked it down because they didn't need to do everything they had expected. Also, the animals (both dogs and cats) that were in the waiting room were pretty mellow for pets headed to the vet, and the waiting room was super clean and spacious enough for animals to have some distance. I cannot thank the folks at Edens enough for everything they did for my dog. My girlfriend and I brought him in for emergency care after being attacked by another dog during our morning walk. I'm giving 5 stars for the staff especially the ladies in the front and the assistant vets at the back. They're so helpful and have excellent customer service. I'm bringing feral cats in this place with the help of Hayward Friends of Animals. Staff in Eden are very accommodating. Yesterday, I brought 2 feral cats, when I picked them up, they lent me a trap for the other cat. They're very helpful and caring. The lady at the front always greet you with a smile. Happy staff. I started with a puppy package 6 years ago. I been really happy with the doctors and the staff for many years and I didn't mind paying since my dog was being care for. Today My experience was the opposite I saw a Dr. Halperin the relief veterinarian. This woman is just simply awful, very poor customer service. She acted like I was bothering her with my questions. Her facial expressions/ demeanor show she has no empathy and no customer service at all. Please be aware if you make an appointment and you get this Doctor I would urge you to cancel your appointment. Read Less

I've been taking my dogs to Eden Pet Hospital since 2006. I have always been completely satisfied with the care they receive whether they're healthy or having problems. The doctors are very thorough, knowledgeable, caring, and personable. My mid-size dog loves going there but my little guy is fearful, (as he is of any place other than the park), they are very gentle with him and allow him the time he needs to still give him a thorough exam. We were referred to Eden Hospital by the Hayward Animal Shelter after we adopted our awesome dog last year. Our little fella was nippy on his first visit. The doctor and assistant were patient and handled him with care. They worked efficiently to quell his anxiety. Throughout the past year, I have called to the hospital with numerous questions regarding my dog. The ladies at the front desk would help me with my concerns without booking any unnecessary appointments. Straight-forward care for my pet. We returned to the clinic a month ago to get our pet's one year shots and the service was consistent to our last visit. The doctored answered all me questions regarding vaccinations and quickly negated what my dog didn't need. The assistant was pretty cool too..she helped calm down my dog when we first got into the examination room and was calmly petting him within a couple minutes. I feel fortunate to have Eden Pet Hospital so close to home. All three doctors and the staff are professional, reasonable and understanding. My Norwich terrier has been going here for nearly 10 years when Dr. DeBaco started at Eden. I am confident in their care and expertise and appreciate the professional but realistic approach to veterinary medicine. They seem flexible and accommodating with scheduling even with last minute emergencies. Any quality vet care is expensive and I think the rates here are reasonable. I have dealt with Eden outside of my own pet needs and they are always happy to answer questions. Now that I have my own furry one they are still willing to answer my concerns as a new pet mom. They dealt with me well when I was frantic over something my puppy was experiencing. They are always nice and friendly to me and my dog. We have taken our dogs to Eden Pet Hospital for about ten years and have never had a bad experience with their care. Two of our dogs have passed during that time and they were treated with great kindness. They were very supportive of us as well and I can't imagine going through that without them. We now have a new dog and they have guided us in how to properly care for her to maintain a healthy, happy pet. We have always had animals (but just 2 cats at the moment though) and very picky about the vet and support staff. Our cats are older (about 4 & 6) that we got from Tri-Valley Animal Shelter. They are a bit paranoid and skittish due to their tough background. We have been very happy with Dr. Dabaco and the staff at Eden. They are highly competent and very good with our cats. They don't try to sell us stuff we don't need and the staff is very helpful. Our previous vet hospital changed hands, raised costs and the service went downhill. We found Eden when we had an emergency situation with one of the cats. They came through then and didn't take advantage of it by charging high prices. They continue to provide fast, friendly, competent service. While competence and service are a higher priority than cost, their prices are quite reasonable.Read Less
