This is hands down the best place to bring your fur babies! Dr. Hansen is absolutely wonderful. Love this place, only vet for my cat Lucy :) Donna is the best!! She truly cares for your animals. Friendly staff and doctors. I would highly recommend. They have Lucy on a monthly pill for flee management, she never has a flea and the pill is cheaper then other treatments such as topicals. I have one happy cat!! Almost celebrating a year, the vet did her spay and kitten shots. They are very reasonably priced! Its great to know your furry friend is healthy and in great hands!! Thanks you Center Animal Hospital for taking such good care of Lucy. Update: bringing my new Bengal kitten Simba to the vet today! They moved my appointment last minute to accommodate my new kitten that came early. Thank you so much!!! Lucy is also over a year old now and her health has been 100%. She's an indoor/Outdoor cat. This vet is amazing!

Athough we thank you, we hope we do not have to see you again, as blondie is her own cat and kinda runs things and is like, turbo clean and healthy and she told me specifically in the car on the way home that she thought you guys were a class act but the dogs freaked her out a little She a tuff girl, I think sometimes she thinks I'm HER cat. you get it. we're on her time. thanks for being patient with my little CEO.

I use to go to Dr Dena in prunedale until she closed. My older dog had a heat stroke and I immediately drove him to center animal hospital. The staff was so attentive and quick reacting, super sweet the whole time. The vet explained things very clearly and what my options were. My dog was placed in ice packs and iv fluids administered and in a few hours he was back to himself. What I loved the most they don't charge an arm and a leg. I was shocked I left with a bill under 150!

I am so impressed with this clinic. I wish my doctor took the kind of time with me that our vet took with my kitty. I am really blown away by the quality of care, and I'm so grateful that my kitty went from death's door to his same old kitty self after some intervention by the doctor. HIGHLY recommended!!!

My family has been using Center Animal Hospital for over ten years, so when I moved out and got two cats of my own my husband and I looked no further than them. We loved everyone in the office, from the office staff, to the vet techs, and the vets. They would answer any question we had, and were always honest about whether or not they thought we needed to bring our cats in. Whenever we would bring our older cat into the office everyone would come and say hi to him (he was very popular there), it made us feel like our animals were special and not another name on a schedule. Unfortunately we had to move out of the area and no longer could use them as our vets, however they would still answer any questions we had about our cats until we found a vet in our new area. We love and miss everyone at Center Animal Hospital and would recommend anyone who wants more than just two seconds with a vet and office staff who don't know your pets at all to switch to them because they are AMAZING!

Knowledgeable, friendly, and affordable! We moved to Castroville last year with 5 pets (3 cats, 2 dogs) in tow, and we were lucky enough to find Center Vet. They helped us move our 17-year-old kitty gently into his death, without unnecessary and costly tests, something which we appreciated greatly. With another cat, Dr. Mulder quickly diagnosed cancer without making us test him over and over again, and then referred us to an oncologist who was able to operate and save his life within a week. (Sweeney is very happy even though he is tail-less!) With our 3rd cat, they found a parasite that 2 other vets had missed, and they helped our fat dog lose a lot of weight. All of the vets are extremely competent, and the staff is courteous and friendly, especially the head receptionist, who had toys on hand one time when my little girls accompanied me to the office. As long-time pet owners, we've been to a lot of vets, but Center Vet is probably the best-priced and the most accurate vet office we've had. We will continue to take our pets there!

I & my family took our dogs & cats to Center Animal Hospital for the past 20+ years. The staff & primary vet became like family. Before my beloved pup passed a few years ago, he actually loved going to see the vet (yes, I know how odd that is--but they treated him so lovingly that he viewed them as part of the family). Things have changed a bit in more recent years, however. While the staff is still very competent & friendly, the doctors are not the same calibre they used to be. One is preparing for retirement & isn't really up to the task of keeping up with the workload, despite her genuine heart & desire to do so. The other, while knowledgeable, is a bit standoffish & tends to be hastey in her diagnosis. While still a very good place to take your four-legged familymembers, if things continue as they are I'm not sure the quality of service will remain.

Both veterinarians are very capable. I haven't used them for anything real major, just some shots, ear infection and minor issues. One of the vets is definitely more friendly than the other and I was told one of them did not like rottweilers...well I had no choice but to use that vet that day and once she realized my rotty was such a love she was much nicer to us. I was really impressed with her knowledge and her quick diagnosis...we had gone to many many other vets for the same type of condition over the years (hair loss) and she was able to tell us exactly what was going on (my dog was blowing her coat, a normal part of doggy estrus). One thing I didnt agree with her about was diet, she said to use the tried and true dogfoods which she said was science diet. I believe dogs require better food than that! LOL! The vets and staff here are very nice, I recommend them for at least the minor medical stuff!

We love and miss everyone at Center Animal Hospital and would recommend anyone who wants more than just two seconds with a vet and office staff who don't know your pets at all to switch to them because they are AMAZING!

Knowledgeable, friendly, and affordable! We moved to Castroville last year with 5 pets (3 cats, 2 dogs) in tow, and we were lucky enough to find Center Vet. They helped us move our 17-year-old kitty gently into his death, without unnecessary and costly tests, something which we appreciated greatly. With another cat, Dr. Mulder quickly diagnosed cancer without making us test him over and over again, and then referred us to an oncologist who was able to operate and save his life within a week. (Sweeney is very happy even though he is tail-less!) With our 3rd cat, they found a parasite that 2 other vets had missed, and they helped our fat dog lose a lot of weight. All of the vets are extremely competent, and the staff is courteous and friendly, especially the head receptionist, who had toys on hand one time when my little girls accompanied me to the office. As long-time pet owners, we've been to a lot of vets, but Center Vet is probably the best-priced and the most accurate vet office we've had. We will continue to take our pets there!

I & my family took our dogs & cats to Center Animal Hospital for the past 20+ years. The staff & primary vet became like family. Before my beloved pup passed a few years ago, he actually loved going to see the vet (yes, I know how odd that is--but they treated him so lovingly that he viewed them as part of the family). Things have changed a bit in more recent years, however. While the staff is still very competent & friendly, the doctors are not the same calibre they used to be. One is preparing for retirement & isn't really up to the task of keeping up with the workload, despite her genuine heart & desire to do so. The other, while knowledgeable, is a bit standoffish & tends to be hastey in her diagnosis. While still a very good place to take your four-legged familymembers, if things continue as they are I'm not sure the quality of service will remain.

Both veterinarians are very capable. I haven't used them for anything real major, just some shots, ear infection and minor issues. One of the vets is definitely more friendly than the other and I was told one of them did not like rottweilers...well I had no choice but to use that vet that day and once she realized my rotty was such a love she was much nicer to us. I was really impressed with her knowledge and her quick diagnosis...we had gone to many many other vets for the same type of condition over the years (hair loss) and she was able to tell us exactly what was going on (my dog was blowing her coat, a normal part of doggy estrus). One thing I didnt agree with her about was diet, she said to use the tried and true dogfoods which she said was science diet. I believe dogs require better food than that! LOL! The vets and staff here are very nice, I recommend them for at least the minor medical stuff!
