I was a little unhappy with unexpected cost to get my Pink Princess better. However, I want to say that Ceres Veterinary Clinic has some amazing doctors and staff. Dr Cassidy is a very capable and kind professional. Our 14 year old beagle is generally a hot mess and no veterinary professional can believe he's still happy and alive so we appreciate her help keeping him that way and her advice how to keep him comfortable in his last years. Read Less

Dr. Cassiday and the rest of the staff are amazing!! One of my dogs suffers from seizures. Originally he was having 2-3 seizures every 3-4 weeks and there was a point last year where we didn't think he was going to make it. Dr. Cassiday worked hard to find a combination of medications that would work for our little guy. We just got home from our annual check up. I am happy to report Kilo is doing great and is 3.5 months seizure free. I can't thank everyone at Ceres Vet enough for everything they do! Read Less

Beware, this clinic has extremely inflated pricing and is now forcing unnecessary tests/procedures on clients!! I have been taking my animals to this clinic for the past six years without issue. There seems to be a different vet (other than the owner) each time I go. I recently brought my 8yr old beagle in requesting a neuter surgery to be done. On exam they found a skin/gum flap in his mouth and suggested I have that removed as well. When they brought me in the "treatment plan" They insisted I do extensive blood work and multiple x-rays to the tune of $981. I expressed my concern over the pricing and unnecessary tests for a routine procedure to which I was told "this wouldn't have happened if you neutered him as a puppy". I took him to another clinic here in town and had the neuter and growth removal done for $180. My dog has had no problems with recovery and is doing fabulous. Will not be using this facility anymore! This place is phenomenal! Took my daughter's dog Dallas here, oh what an experience. This office is absolutely the best veterinarian I've ever gone too. I wish I would've brought my own dog here, probably would've saved him from all the unneeded complications he suffered at a previous clinic we went too. Will definitely bring the rest of our dogs here, and recommend to everyone to do the same. They genuinely care and treat your animal with absolute compassion and kindness . Took my lil chihuahua here yesterday she was really sick came positive for parvo virus I couldn't afford the treatment So for way cheaper they instruct me for home treatment I treat my dog at home and she is doing really well staff there is really nice and understandable . Read Less

We recently had to take our little beloved Yorkie Max in to be put to sleep.  He had a cancer that had progressed causing severe, erratic seizures. It was EXTREMELY heart-wrenching for both my daughter and I in the office that day.  My daughter, Max, and I were handled with so much kindness and compassion by the staff and Dr. Cassidy that day. Out of that experience, they have gained a customer for life.  I received a condolescences letter one week later in the mail signed by all the staff of Ceres Vet and a little slip of thick, white paper taped inside with Maxys paw print.  I'm so glad to have that little print.We have used Ceres Vet for routine appointments over the years and have never had issues.  It was this experience though that solidified my loyalty to their business.  They literally could not have done one thing better that day and on a day like that day, that says ALOT.  Thank you Ceres Vet... Absolutely love Ceres Vet Clinic! Dr. Bettencourt and his whole staff are awesome! I have 4 furry babies ranging from 11 yrs. to 4 months old and I would never even consider taking them anywhere else. I just moved from Ceres to Stockton and even though the drive is longer, it is worth it. Lots of love and care is what you get at Ceres Veterinary Clinic and I highly recommend it! Read Less

Everyone there is amazing! I have been going there for years and enjoy seeing the same people. You can tell a place is good when the staff is there long term. The prices are good, no real bargain. But I would rather pay extra money to make sure my Peaches is properly taken care of. Don't bother going anywhere else. To many of my friends have tried the cheaper places and came running back to Dr. Bettencourt and his staff. I only trust them with my family members.Read Less
