A dog was hit by a car on the street next to this office. I ran to ask the vet for help and the front office person told me it was not his responsibility- out of his jurisdiction- some nonsense like that . A friend of mine recommended this place, as his aunt is the lady vet who works there. I've never had any issues with Dr. Hamaguchi. She is always very thorough and never rushes you. The one complaint I have is with the woman who works at the front desk. I have seen two different women there, but the complaint lies with the one who is there most of the time (I don't know her name, but she has fake blonde hair). The only way I can describe her is that she has a very rude tone when she speaks to you. It's not necessarily what she says, but how she says it. Everyone that I've recommended to go here has met her and they have all said the same thing. One time, my friend had to bring her dog late in the afternoon to get stitches. The receptionist had told her she would call when the dog was ready to be picked up in about an hour. So my friend went to get something to eat and came back early. She asked to use the restroom and on her way to the restroom, she passed the room where her dog was. She went over to make sure the dog was ok and had some concerns. She went to see the receptionist about her concerns and was told, "I told you I would call you when she was ready for pick up. You are here too early and there is nothing we can do." The fact that my friend was early to check on her dog should not have been an issue. Obviously, people care very deeply about their pets, but this woman does not seem to understand that and has not ever displayed any compassion for the animals. They are normally closed on Sundays but if it's an emergency you call and they will tell you to bring your pet in . I had to bring my dog in because he had an infected nail and couldn't walk . The vet was nice . It was kinda pricy but that's how it is in any place . I definitely recommend this vet . Read Less

My experience with this clinic was fantastic! I called to schedule an appointment on New Years day because my dog's nail beds were infected. While every other place was closed or charging an emergency fee for the holiday, Dr. Chaudhry, happily raced over to his office to care for my dog without extra fees. I took my dog in due to her having blood in her urine. Dr Chaudhry and staff took good care of my dog, treating her with a tremendous amount of care while going through X-rays, IV treatment and her surgery. As anyone can imagine, I had many questions. When we had to take our 2 year old mixed breed cat to the vet, we chose this place because it was a short (about 5 minutes) drive from our house, and we were not disappointed. This is a great clinic. The vet was very helpful, and answered all of our questions thoroughly. We went on a Saturday morning, so they were a little busy, but we were in and out of there within an hour or so. Prices are very reasonable, and the staff is caring and helpful. The care provided is very considerate, kind, and gentle. If you are interested in taking your cat here, bear in mind that this particular vet serves mostly dogs (at least there were several there when we went). I was on a hike with my dog one evening when a foxtail (a barbed grass seed) got stuck in my dog's ear. He was screaming his head off and I didn't know why. I thought maybe something crawled into his ear and started biting him. I ran down to the hill and checked google maps to see if any vets were still open. This vet didn't have the hours listed so I gave them a call. Dr. Chaudhry answered and to my surprise, he told me he would meet me at the clinic around 8pm. He left his house and returned to the office to come help my dog. He diagnosed the problem as a possible foxtail, then we sedated my dog (I got to hold him, that was cool), and then he used some tools to extract the foxtail. He also diagnosed my dog with ear mites and showed them to me under the microscope, then prescribed some drops (which were very effective). He was very professional and knowledgeable, thoroughly answering any of the questions I had. Over all I had a great experience with this vet and will continue to come to him for all of my dog's medical needs. Read Less

WOW!! The customer service we received tonight was top notch. We called at 9:15pm and we're surprised when Dr Chaudhry answered the phone himself. We were having health issues with our new kitten and the doctor offered to meet us at his clinic within minutes. He diagnosed and handled our kitten with care. Great vet.  We have taken our  cat and dog there for years.   They are friendly, courteous, easy with the animal on the table.  And they give out lots of treats!  I would ignore the lame comments from non-paying customers here on Yelp.  I'm surprised a non-customer is allowed to leave derogatory comments against a business.   We should be able to leave comments on other Yelpers I think when they are not legit. My family has been going to see Dr. Chaudhry and Dr. Hamaguchi for over 20 years now. The ladies at the front desk know us by name. We took our two dogs Lindy and Nevada from the time they were puppies. During the years, the doctors have did everything for them. They spayed them. They saw them both after a roughhousing accident left both injured.  Dr. Chaudhry got up and opened the clinic after business hours when Nevada tore her paw clean open with blood spewing everywhere. They were responsible for saving our two wonderful dogs more times then I can remember and are some of the most professional vets in the business.Last year, when it was time for our dogs to be put down (at the ripe old ages of 17 and 14), Dr. Chaudhry made house calls. I know of no other veterinarian who would conscientious enough to make sure his patients were put down at home, surrounded by love, instead of in a vet's office.We're now taking our new cat, Loki, into the clinic, where they continue to provide top-notch customer service. I have been taking my Doxies to this clinic for years. The care is excellent and compassionate. The team recently saved the life of my Doxie-Bebee, and I am so grateful. Bebee had a hemorrhagic entercolites. The prices are reasonable and they love these little patients. Could not say enough!Read Less
