***PLEASE DO NOT GO TO THIS ANIMAL HOSPITAL***
You know that saying You get what you pay for well in this case, it ended up to be true, My Boyfriend and I only took our Dog there because it was inexpensive and since I was unemployed and of course on a fixed income we chose them. Our Dog had Mammary tumors that had to be removed, the surgery seem to go well, They removed the tumors and then the Sutures within two weeks, and told us that she was recovering beautifully and that there was no need for her to wear the Cone Then he asked for $250.00 more because he said that during the surgery he found more little tumors, it was hard enough coming up with the $949.00 for the surgery. However little did we know that was only the beginning to something far worse? About a month later her incision began to open up, So we took her back to the vet, He barely looked at her and just said Oh I see, she has another tumor growing, but we will just clean the wound with Iodine, You clean twice a day. We tried to tell him that she was in pain and if he could give us something because she was crying but he said Ah No pain she is fine (with his broken English). So he just sent us home with Iodine, No antibiotics or pain medication, But he had the nerve to ask for the additional money, we paid him $100.00 towards the balance since he wanted us to come back in two weeks. Then he couldnt even remember what instructions he gave us to clean the wound. He said oh what did I say once or twice a day to clean the wound. REALLY!!... That evening we cleaned her wound as directed and OMG, she was crying and screaming so loud when we were cleaning the wound. We knew something wasnt right; she wasnt eating or drinking water. We ended up taking her the emergency Vet on Saturday and we found out, That she was not only in pain from the open incision, but her left leg was swollen from the additional tumor that was growing, how in the hell can he not see that her leg was swelling, Oh wait how could he when he didnt even take the time to examine her. We ended up spending an additional $180.00 for that Emergency visit, Antibiotic Injection, Pain medication and additional antibiotic medication. Now we are going to have to take her somewhere else and probably end up spending another $300.00 or more to have this after surgery complications looked at.
