This office is completely misinformed when it comes to travel paperwork. I had called and asked if they have a USDA Accredited bet to do international travel paperwork for my two dogs, then made an appointment with that vet. The process was horrible. I paid and had to get the paperwork the next day, they didn’t go over it with me together. Then I pick it up and find out the vet is not a USDA accredited vet. So $200 wasted. Then I called to ask if there was a misunderstanding and there was another vet that I could use from their practice. I was told they have no USDA vets... then told me I would have to go to LA. Which is not true, there are USDA vets in San Diego. I cannot say how their practice usually is but I very much disliked the consult with the vet I had and they have no clue what they are doing when it comes to paperwork for travel. Do not go here for travel documents.

Beware.....Poor service/ unorganized/ bad attitude going to Telegraph canyon Vet about 8 yrs ago. A friend referred me and at that time they exceeded my expectations and I was very happy with their service.Fast forward to about 3 yrs ago and I noticed that the staff just didn't give a shit anymore. I keep making excuses for them in my own mind in what had become a poorly run business.... Many of the problems are similar to other 1 star reviews on Yelp. As of today after another bad experience I started the process of switch to Bonita Pet Care in Bonita which had an average of 4 1/2 rating. I rarely write reviews but thought I could save someone else the grief.I Deserve better for my money!

I was nervous and worried for my fur baby but a staff name Rosanna helped ease my anxiety, she was just very nice and listened. I picked up my dog the time they said and the price was very reasonable. I really like this place and would recommend who wants to get their dog spayed here.

My husband and I rescued a dog from a shelter and were told we could come here for a free exam, when I brought my dog in I was greeted by a nice woman at the front desk. When we went back to see the vet she never once introduced herself to me and barely even touched my dog. She didn't answer any questions I had which pissed me off. She didn't even address any of my concerns about him. She didn't even spend minutes with us. I got a phone call the next day from another vet there about test results and she did tell me her name on the phone but then proceeded to talk over me on the phone and speak to me as if I was stupid when I was only trying to understand what she was telling me-because it didn't make any sense. I came in for my dogs records and they were so unorganized and couldn't find his records. It took 2 people and 30 minutes to locate his chart. Needless to say, I do NOT recommend this place and will never return.

I adopted a cat and was told by the shelter I could get a free exam within the first ten days from a list of vet offices. I chose to go to this one and it was a huge mistake. I called the day before and asked for an appointment. The lady on the phone was very kind and even complimented my cats name. She made me the appointment for 1 the next day but when I showed up I was greeted with attitude because supposedly I had never called to make an appointment. After receiving a bunch of attitude from the desk person for their own mistake, she said she'd squeeze me in. When I took my cat in, the vet did the exam and barely checked my cat at all. However, they had the audacity to look at only 2 out of the 5 vet records I had for my cat and began to tell me she was missing vaccines. I asked which ones and they went to go get me a paper with the estimates for each one I received a paper that the vet just handed to me and asked me to sign without explaining what it was. When I read it, it said I'd be charged $500+ for shots. I had just adopted my cat so there was no way this was possible seeing as she was given to me fully vaccinated. These vets are more concerned with making money than keeping your pet safe. They were more willing to overcharge me and overvaccinate my cat than they were to simply provide the free medical exam my cat was entitled to. Needless to say, I will never come back, and as someone who works at a pet store, I tell all my clients not to come here.

This is probably the worst vet place ever. They are money hungry. I came In because I was worried mostly about some small vomiting and his nose was making noise and they had to do a bunch of testing and added nonsense to the bill to make it 500$. They told us they would give us a cup for a poop sample but when they took him in the back they ended up taking the sample from his asshole and I heard him crying. They tried to sell us food that we didn't need and when we declined they had a nasty attitude. If they are getting commission from it it's sure as hell obvious. He was fine but they made it into a bigger issue when he was even tested negative. Never coming here again!!! Stop sticking things up dogs assholes when you don't have permission. No compassion at all.

I have been going to this vet for a few months. I really like Dr. McClemons - she is nice, down to earth and really seems to care about pets. This place is not cheap, so if you are looking for cheap care, this is not the place to go. The downside of this place is the parking is horrendous. When you are visiting a vet, the last thing you want to do is drive around for 20 minutes looking for parking. I've had a number of incidents in this parking lot and because of this, I'm looking for a new vet. The last thing I need is to add to my stress by taking my pets to the vet. It's not worth it.

Boy did I leave this place with a sour taste in my mouth. My mom's first language is not English, but she still tries her best to ask questions for clarification sake. After a few questions from my mom, the lady at the check out desk developed had an attitude.My mom loves our dog and just wanted to make sure she'd be okay. There's no need to be rude.

They would sell you the syringes but wouldn't take them back. As of yesterday our little girl (chihuahua) had to be put down. They charged us 200 hundred dollars to put her down! Not to mention you have to pay 45 dollars to stay in the room with your dog to be put down. Secondly before this happened my brother took his German Shepherd in to have a small cyst on his paw removed for 1400 dollars!The office isn't friendly, it's tiny and crowded, the wait time is always very long (even with an appointment)This place does not care about your pet. They only care about getting their money's worth out of you.

We had a really good experience with Telegraph Canyon Animal Hospital when we took our puppy for a Spay. Scheduling the appointment, dropping off and picking up process was smooth. Love that they participate in the County's Spay and Neuter Program. I would have liked to receive a call or text after the procedure, just to let me know everything went fine. Puppy is doing well, the incision is small and clean. Highly recommend taking a pet here for spaying/neutering.

Love this place & they care bout you're pets. This is my wife's place where she brings her dogs I use to take my dog to another place but now I bring him here. First the customer service is very good & usually is. My wife has brought her dogs for shots & when they see a flee or 2 she has been offered 1 free Tablet of Advantage now that's cool. And the prices for shots are cheaper here then most places only $11 a shot on Tuesdays & Saturdays. Yes it gets busy & the wait is long but worth it. And as you wait you can make friends & so can you're doggies. The Dr. that checked my dog (a older woman in her late 40's) was awesome! Very nice & knowledgeable. My dog had a ear infection & 2 other places couldn't take care of it there antibiotics & meds didn't work for long so that's why I finally came here. Well it's finally gone, yes there checkups & antibiotics may costs a bit more then other places but they work! It's like when you have a headache instead of paying more for Excidrin you get Kroger pills & well for being a cheap ass getting Kroger brand you're headaches don't always go away, you get for what you pay same thing here so I don't mind paying a bit more on meds. And the Dr. wrote down a list of things that can cause the infection & rashes. She had a lot of patience with me & answered all my questions & told me how to give him his meds & how to care for him, she petted my dog the whole time she talked to me. Its been 8 months & no ear infection & no rashes. I'll will be bringing my dog here now for sure! Yes they might be a bit pricy at times with meds & check ups & the wait can be a bit long when there busy but it's all worth it! Good customer service great doctors, great vaccine prices & most important they care bout you're dogs! Also hopefully you get Bill to help you with you're pet he's real cool & awesome with our doggies.

I had a very pleasant experience at the vaccine clinic. If you have questions about the shots you need to ask before they are given. $11 per shot, which is a very good price compared to other places charging double per shot. I googled many places around Chula Vista to IB and to Spring Valley. Only this place and Pet Network have more affordable prices for individuals on a low budget. The time frame for the clinic is very short, so if you're in a rush you definitely need to arrive earlier. There were 4-6 dogs ahead of mine and it took approximately 30 mins. This isn't a dog check up, so don't expect so many services during the clinical hours, since they are trying to get people in and out to shorten everyone's wait length time. The staff seemed very friendly with smiles all around. The cashier looked like she was working very hard and just needed her lunch break. I don't blame her, since there were so many people coming in!My dogs experience must have been pretty okay! She hates the vet, just like any other dog or cat. So, I just laid her on my lap during the wait time and she finally relaxed within 10 minutes. I appreciated that they didn't surround my dog and that allowed her to become comfortable in that busy environment. There were poopy bags on the shelves with a sign that says help yourself to how many you may need. The vet was gentle with her and he worked fast, but efficiently. So, for my dog who just likes to get things over with.. it must have been fantastic! I definitely would come again in the future.

My Bailey is a brand new dog thanks to Dr. Lynette Henderson and staff! I have two rescues from a local pound, one of them named Bailey, the other, Mochi. We take them here every 2 years for their vaccination shots but have never had any other services provided until recently. Jenny, who I believed to be the kindly Vet Asst., recommended Bailey for a dental cleaning after seeing how sensitive her mouth was and because of her notoriously bad halitosis breath. Then Dr. Henderson took over and to our relief, she remembered Bailey as the pup she had spayed years back. She took extra special care of her during her procedure, did the dental cleaning and teeth extraction at an extremely reasonable cost...and on the same day as her shots! We had called around after and other vets were charging us exorbitant prices, trying to haggle us to see how much money they could squeeze out of our wallets. We were beyond impressed by her professionalism, care and efficiency at getting our beloved pup in and out and for her genuine concern of our pet. When it came time to pick up Bailey, she was groggy from the anesthesia but slept it off. The next day, her appetite was ravenous and she was back to her old self!!!The following day they called to make sure Bailey was alright and to confirm our 2 week follow up appointment. Talk about professionalism and caring for their clients. Beyond impressed and thrilled to give them 5 glowing stars. Thank you, thank you, thank you Dr. Henderson, Jenny and staff...highly recommend!

My 15 year old "pup" has been a patient here for many years. He started life seeing the Vets at Banfield. After a few years of just adequate care, Rusty began seeing Dr. McClemmons. What a wonderful, caring Vet! She was always able to cure Rusty of all the ills he encountered through life. Yesterday, my old friend had to be euthanized.After making THE appointment, then backing out, they were very understanding about not being ready to lose him. I finally worked up the courage to end his pain. Rusty was comfortable and unafraid. Dr. McClemmons wonderful bedside manner always had Rusty wagging his tail. Going to the vet was actually fun for him. Thank you Dr. McClemmons and the entire staff at Telegraph for gently helping me through this difficult time.

This office is completely misinformed when it comes to travel paperwork. I had called and asked if they have a USDA Accredited bet to do international travel paperwork for my two dogs, then made an appointment with that vet. The process was horrible. I paid and had to get the paperwork the next day, they didn’t go over it with me together. Then I pick it up and find out the vet is not a USDA accredited vet. So $200 wasted. Then I called to ask if there was a misunderstanding and there was another vet that I could use from their practice. I was told they have no USDA vets... then told me I would have to go to LA. Which is not true, there are USDA vets in San Diego. I cannot say how their practice usually is but I very much disliked the consult with the vet I had and they have no clue what they are doing when it comes to paperwork for travel. Do not go here for travel documents.

Beware.....Poor service/ unorganized/ bad attitude going to Telegraph canyon Vet about 8 yrs ago. A friend referred me and at that time they exceeded my expectations and I was very happy with their service.Fast forward to about 3 yrs ago and I noticed that the staff just didn't give a shit anymore. I keep making excuses for them in my own mind in what had become a poorly run business.... Many of the problems are similar to other 1 star reviews on Yelp. As of today after another bad experience I started the process of switch to Bonita Pet Care in Bonita which had an average of 4 1/2 rating. I rarely write reviews but thought I could save someone else the grief.I Deserve better for my money!

I've always came across this vet place because I buy my dog food next door at IB pets the best pet store by the way. My husband found this vet to get our maltipoo spayed. I was nervous and worried for my fur baby but a staff name Rosanna helped ease my anxiety, she was just very nice and listened. I picked up my dog the time they said and the price was very reasonable. I really like this place and would recommend who wants to get their dog spayed here.

My husband and I rescued a dog from a shelter and were told we could come here for a free exam, when I brought my dog in I was greeted by a nice woman at the front desk. When we went back to see the vet she never once introduced herself to me and barely even touched my dog. She didn't answer any questions I had which pissed me off. She didn't even address any of my concerns about him. She didn't even spend minutes with us. I got a phone call the next day from another vet there about test results and she did tell me her name on the phone but then proceeded to talk over me on the phone and speak to me as if I was stupid when I was only trying to understand what she was telling me-because it didn't make any sense. I came in for my dogs records and they were so unorganized and couldn't find his records. It took 2 people and 30 minutes to locate his chart. Needless to say, I do NOT recommend this place and will never return.

I adopted a cat and was told by the shelter I could get a free exam within the first ten days from a list of vet offices. I chose to go to this one and it was a huge mistake. I called the day before and asked for an appointment. The lady on the phone was very kind and even complimented my cats name. She made me the appointment for 1 the next day but when I showed up I was greeted with attitude because supposedly I had never called to make an appointment. After receiving a bunch of attitude from the desk person for their own mistake, she said she'd squeeze me in. When I took my cat in, the vet did the exam and barely checked my cat at all. However, they had the audacity to look at only 2 out of the 5 vet records I had for my cat and began to tell me she was missing vaccines. I asked which ones and they went to go get me a paper with the estimates for each one I received a paper that the vet just handed to me and asked me to sign without explaining what it was. When I read it, it said I'd be charged $500+ for shots. I had just adopted my cat so there was no way this was possible seeing as she was given to me fully vaccinated. These vets are more concerned with making money than keeping your pet safe. They were more willing to overcharge me and overvaccinate my cat than they were to simply provide the free medical exam my cat was entitled to. Needless to say, I will never come back, and as someone who works at a pet store, I tell all my clients not to come here.

Very professional and kind. I found two lost old dogs and had the clinic scan them for micro chip which they did at no cost to me. They held the dogs until the owners came to get them.(not sure if they charged a fee ) The shelter would cost you Big.

This is probably the worst vet place ever. They are money hungry. I came In because I was worried mostly about some small vomiting and his nose was making noise and they had to do a bunch of testing and added nonsense to the bill to make it 500$. They told us they would give us a cup for a poop sample but when they took him in the back they ended up taking the sample from his asshole and I heard him crying. They tried to sell us food that we didn't need and when we declined they had a nasty attitude. If they are getting commission from it it's sure as hell obvious. He was fine but they made it into a bigger issue when he was even tested negative. Never coming here again!!! Stop sticking things up dogs assholes when you don't have permission. No compassion at all.

They called telegraph and said I could bring in my baby..... Telegraph understands how much fur babies mean to their human parents and did the surgery for 10 times less..... I have been going to this vet for a few months. I really like Dr. McClemons - she is nice, down to earth and really seems to care about pets. This place is not cheap, so if you are looking for cheap care, this is not the place to go. The downside of this place is the parking is horrendous. When you are visiting a vet, the last thing you want to do is drive around for 20 minutes looking for parking. I've had a number of incidents in this parking lot and because of this, I'm looking for a new vet. The last thing I need is to add to my stress by taking my pets to the vet. It's not worth it.

Boy did I leave this place with a sour taste in my mouth. My dog needed a check up and we had a bunch of questions regarding the medications she'd have to take and how long it would take for things to heal. My mom's first language is not English, but she still tries her best to ask questions for clarification sake. After a few questions from my mom, the lady at the check out desk developed had an attitude.My mom loves our dog and just wanted to make sure she'd be okay. There's no need to be rude.

DO NOT GO HERE!!! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!First off, I've been taking my dog here for her diabetes and insulin for a couple years. 200 dollars for just some simple lab work. They would sell you the syringes but wouldn't take them back. As of yesterday our little girl (chihuahua) had to be put down. They charged us 200 hundred dollars to put her down! Not to mention you have to pay 45 dollars to stay in the room with your dog to be put down. Secondly before this happened my brother took his German Shepherd in to have a small cyst on his paw removed for 1400 dollars!The office isn't friendly, it's tiny and crowded, the wait time is always very long (even with an appointment)This place does not care about your pet. They only care about getting their money's worth out of you.

They will say they recommend 4 sets at their Saturday clinic.Then our puppy gets an allergic reaction to the vaccinations, when we took the puppy in, they were more concerned about their closing time than the welfare of our pet.We found the Vet Techs unprofessional and will be taking our little girl elsewhere.

We had a really good experience with Telegraph Canyon Animal Hospital when we took our puppy for a Spay. Scheduling the appointment, dropping off and picking up process was smooth. Love that they participate in the County's Spay and Neuter Program. I would have liked to receive a call or text after the procedure, just to let me know everything went fine. Puppy is doing well, the incision is small and clean. Highly recommend taking a pet here for spaying/neutering.

Love this place & they care bout you're pets. This is my wife's place where she brings her dogs I use to take my dog to another place but now I bring him here. First the customer service is very good & usually is. My wife has brought her dogs for shots & when they see a flee or 2 she has been offered 1 free Tablet of Advantage now that's cool. And the prices for shots are cheaper here then most places only $11 a shot on Tuesdays & Saturdays. Yes it gets busy & the wait is long but worth it. And as you wait you can make friends & so can you're doggies. The Dr. that checked my dog (a older woman in her late 40's) was awesome! Very nice & knowledgeable. My dog had a ear infection & 2 other places couldn't take care of it there antibiotics & meds didn't work for long so that's why I finally came here. Well it's finally gone, yes there checkups & antibiotics may costs a bit more then other places but they work! It's like when you have a headache instead of paying more for Excidrin you get Kroger pills & well for being a cheap ass getting Kroger brand you're headaches don't always go away, you get for what you pay same thing here so I don't mind paying a bit more on meds. And the Dr. wrote down a list of things that can cause the infection & rashes. She had a lot of patience with me & answered all my questions & told me how to give him his meds & how to care for him, she petted my dog the whole time she talked to me. Its been 8 months & no ear infection & no rashes. I'll will be bringing my dog here now for sure! Yes they might be a bit pricy at times with meds & check ups & the wait can be a bit long when there busy but it's all worth it! Good customer service great doctors, great vaccine prices & most important they care bout you're dogs! Also hopefully you get Bill to help you with you're pet he's real cool & awesome with our doggies.

One advantage of this practice is that they offer a low cost clinic for immunizations so an office visit charge is not necessary to safeguard your pets against disease.

If you have questions about the shots you need to ask before they are given. $11 per shot, which is a very good price compared to other places charging double per shot. I googled many places around Chula Vista to IB and to Spring Valley. Only this place and Pet Network have more affordable prices for individuals on a low budget. The time frame for the clinic is very short, so if you're in a rush you definitely need to arrive earlier. There were 4-6 dogs ahead of mine and it took approximately 30 mins. This isn't a dog check up, so don't expect so many services during the clinical hours, since they are trying to get people in and out to shorten everyone's wait length time. The staff seemed very friendly with smiles all around. The cashier looked like she was working very hard and just needed her lunch break. I don't blame her, since there were so many people coming in!My dogs experience must have been pretty okay! She hates the vet, just like any other dog or cat. So, I just laid her on my lap during the wait time and she finally relaxed within 10 minutes. I appreciated that they didn't surround my dog and that allowed her to become comfortable in that busy environment. There were poopy bags on the shelves with a sign that says help yourself to how many you may need. The vet was gentle with her and he worked fast, but efficiently. So, for my dog who just likes to get things over with.. it must have been fantastic! I definitely would come again in the future.

My Bailey is a brand new dog thanks to Dr. Lynette Henderson and staff! I have two rescues from a local pound, one of them named Bailey, the other, Mochi. We take them here every 2 years for their vaccination shots but have never had any other services provided until recently. Jenny, who I believed to be the kindly Vet Asst., recommended Bailey for a dental cleaning after seeing how sensitive her mouth was and because of her notoriously bad halitosis breath. Then Dr. Henderson took over and to our relief, she remembered Bailey as the pup she had spayed years back. She took extra special care of her during her procedure, did the dental cleaning and teeth extraction at an extremely reasonable cost...and on the same day as her shots! We had called around after and other vets were charging us exorbitant prices, trying to haggle us to see how much money they could squeeze out of our wallets. We were beyond impressed by her professionalism, care and efficiency at getting our beloved pup in and out and for her genuine concern of our pet. When it came time to pick up Bailey, she was groggy from the anesthesia but slept it off. The next day, her appetite was ravenous and she was back to her old self!!!The following day they called to make sure Bailey was alright and to confirm our 2 week follow up appointment. Talk about professionalism and caring for their clients. Beyond impressed and thrilled to give them 5 glowing stars. Thank you, thank you, thank you Dr. Henderson, Jenny and staff...highly recommend!

My 15 year old "pup" has been a patient here for many years. He started life seeing the Vets at Banfield. After a few years of just adequate care, Rusty began seeing Dr. McClemmons. What a wonderful, caring Vet! She was always able to cure Rusty of all the ills he encountered through life. Yesterday, my old friend had to be euthanized.After making THE appointment, then backing out, they were very understanding about not being ready to lose him. I finally worked up the courage to end his pain. Rusty was comfortable and unafraid. Dr. McClemmons wonderful bedside manner always had Rusty wagging his tail. Going to the vet was actually fun for him. Thank you Dr. McClemmons and the entire staff at Telegraph for gently helping me through this difficult time.
