If you have an emergency, they won't get a vet to help you, instead, they ask you to schedule an appointment, or go to a different vet that can deal with your pet. I also had a puppy who needed his first set of shots as soon as possible, and they told me that they could schedule an appointment for the next Thursday, which was more than a week wait. The next day, I took my puppy to a shelter that had a vet clinic, and they gave him his shots and dewormer.

My dog/Boston terrier has been on their plan for the last 5yrs and he is regular with his appt and vaccination. I called them because I suspect my dog has a fox tail in his nose. He's sneezing pretty much nonstop, to the point that there is BLOOD. They told me their next avail appt is thursday, it's tuesday! Are you fricken kidding me!! I can't just bring him and they can take a look. What's the point of having this plan or even a regular vet if they are going to blow my pet off when somethings wrong. They are going down hill.
I miss Dr McAfee. She was the best!! (Moved out of state)
Oh and since I'm here at his last visit my dog had gained 2lbs so the labled him obese. I called to question the "obese" rating and they said well he has gained 2lbs. Wth.
Did they even bother to look at him?!?! He is always "ideal". 1)I dont belive in overfeeding 2) I started taking my dog walking/running with me-duh muscle 3) If they looked at all his history they would see he flexuates 1/2 lbs. (if I could add a pic of my supposed obese dog I would)

We've had our dog on the wellness plan for almost 10 years and have spent $1000's at this specific location. We are trying to get pet insurance for our dog and just needed a recheck of a removal of a cyst from her neck last year. Because our plan ended on December I was told they can't see my dog for two weeks and the woman was very rude. She took my phone number only for the appointment and just hung up. I was not rude to her at all and this attitude is very unprofessional.

This is an ideal place for Vet services. Everyone is friendly and efficient. My "Lucy" always gets hugs and tickles.

Got the foxtail out the the grey cat 's eye on the weekend. Kind and professional staff. Online coupon made the procedure quite reasonable in cost.

We love the people here! They are always great, and friendly. They remember our dog every time we come in, I hope that's a good thing! We use their wellness plan. Its the only place I'd bring a pet.

My small dogs eye puffed up and was oozing due to a Fox tail in it. Not only were they super sweet and reassuring they helped her real fast and she was ready to go home!!

They are awesome here. I went just to get a "new puppy" check up and have a visit - needed to get the first round of shots. They found a way to save me $100 the first visit with the wellness plan. To date (2 1/2 months later) I've saved over $300 bucks and the puppy still has a few shots to go. They are clean, kind, and helpful. The parking lot of this petsmart is covered with trees, very shady and cool.

I like Banfield. We really like the vet, Dr. Gonzales. We see the lady vet on occasion when Dr. Gonzales is off, but he's our main guy. We have a puppy plan for our puppy, which has saved us a ton of money.In addition, they are very good at outlining exactly what everything cost, and give you ideas for alternatives if things (like lysine for the cats), can be found elsewhere. Maybe because I ask a lot of questions, and am pretty knowledgeable about pet meds (we have A LOT of pets).I also like that they are open on the weekend, and I like the staff there. I have recommended then to a friend, she loves them too.Note, if you do get a Wellness plan, read the fine print. Be aware of what you are purchasing. They explained it to me in details, but I asked a lot of questions, and did my research before purchasing.

We've had our dog on the wellness plan for almost 10 years and have spent $1000's at this specific location. We are trying to get pet insurance for our dog and just needed a recheck of a removal of a cyst from her neck last year.
