We absolutely love taking my dogs to Sunrise Blvd Animal Hospital! I have been coming here for years and have seen all the doctors, they are all great! The front staff is very friendly and welcoming. The techs in the back always give our dogs lots of extra love! Very clean, professional and friendly environment. One of my dogs can be a bit difficult sometimes and they always do such a good job taking their time so he is calm and doesn't get scared. We drive from a little far away, but we wouldn't take our dogs anywhere else! Read Less

Two seperate times my dog has come back to my house from an appointment here with fleas. We have taken her in to this vet and days later we notice her itching and has fleas. ( both my cats do not come here, they are flea free) just my dog has them. 6 months ago she went in to this vet, got fleas, so we ended up spending more money to get RID of them, 6 months later, bring her in again and automatically comes home with fleas AGAIN, never coming here again, spending more money each time my dog comes in to get rid of the fleas, ridiculous, hoping my children do not get flea bites hoping she does not spread them to my other animals or my children. Absolutely Amazing service!!! The staff and Doctors are kind, knowledgeable & compassionate. The prices are very reasonable. I've been bringing my 2 dogs here for 5 years & I have never had a bad experience. I Recently called to inquire about the cost of putting our 9 yr old Pitt to rest he was diagnosed with cancer & we knew that the time to let him go was near. I explained to the receptionist that we wanted a private cremation & my Husband was interested in having Petey put to sleep at home but we were strapped for cash as my Husband had just returned to work after being home with an injury for a couple of months. She told me the total & I thanked her & told her that the cost was close enough that We would probably go ahead & have the procedure done at home which is the service they do not offer. She asked me to hold on for one moment and when she came back on the line she told me she had something that they would like to offer us if I was willing to accept it. They gave my family the amazing gift of a certificate for a free euthanization through lap of love which is an in-home service. I never asked for a discount or a payment plan or anything. We have been always been very happy with this vet but the compassion that they showed my family giving us a certificate saving us half the cost of the Arrangements we we're interested in with a different doctor blew my mind. It also made me feel comfortable going with lap of love for the service because they're recommended by a vet that we truly trust. A couple months ago when our 1yr old lab mix had a sudden accident and dislocated her hip we had no idea where to take her.. I called the emergency vets and they recommended this place so we wouldn't have an emergency fee... not only was SBAH able to get our babygirl in as soon as possible but they were extremely compassionate and even offered to work with us on paying the bill. They made our girl's recovery priority from the first phone call to the doctor himself.. (btw Dr Craig is amazing) They won us over and we will be staying with them as long as we are here. I also really appreciate them calling to check in on her the morning after every visit - compassion is not common. Read Less

A very friendly, caring staff that really cares for your pets and is very respectful to their needs. All the vet techs and vets I've seen so far really seem to care about your animal's well being and best interests. I went to a couple of other vets in the area before going here and I'm happy to say I found a vet clinic I'll be returning to. Their prices are competitive and while expensive (I mean what vet isn't anymore?) their prices were way less than other places I was quoted for the same procedure. They also take CareCredit which is a plus! Read Less

We've been going here for almost 10 years now, since our female was spayed. We have always had excellent care, but recently, it went beyond even that. Our female woke up fine on a Monday morning, but by the afternoon was throwing up multiple times. We were able to get in that afternoon, where they took some blood, and a couple of x-rays. Not seeing anything that threw immediate alarm bells, we went home. Overnight, she got worse, throwing up almost every 30-45 minutes. When we took her back in the next morning, Dr. Hacia immediately started fluids, to get her stabilized. He ended up doing exploratory surgery, where a large blockage was found in her intestines, causing leakage into her system. He, and Dr. Rosich ended up removing almost a foot of her small intestines. They saved my dog's life, plain and simple. Without their awesome care and concern, we wouldn't have our "fur daughter", and for that I will always be grateful. Read Less

About a week ago adopted a little dog named Rodger. Did some research on places recommended by SPCA and chose this spot. SO GLAD I did. Everyone here is extremely nice and professional. I've taken my cat here twice in a year now. Dr. Tammi is wonderful! My only complaint is I would have liked a little better understanding of what the charges would be, before I had anything done to my cat. Not everyone has an unlimited bank roll. I should have asked as well, my mistake. My previous vet on San Juan ave, didn't charge for anal expressing...plus vet exam...it was incorporated in the vet exam. The other issue is....the front office can't find my chart , so twice now. So with this veterinarian ask what prices are first. Staff - customer service is outstanding! Read Less

We have entrusted our beloved dogs to Dr Fastiggi for the past 20 years. He is not only our vet but our friend. I care more about who I rely on for my pets health than I care about who I see for my own health. Dr Fastiggi is knowledgeable and trustworthy. We visited for our first visit after moving across country. We immediately felt comfortable. The entrance is clean and welcoming. The staff are awesome! My dog was a little nervous and the front desk person got down on the floor and sat with him while talking and giving treats! Socks enjoyed that for sure! We then had a great experience with the Doctor. She was just great! Easy to talk to! (Could have hung out all day chatting!) she even got on the floor with Socks! He was loving all the attention! LOVE THEM!!!! I came here because I adopted a dog and this was one the places listed for his follow up appointment. I have been coming here for almost 8 years and can't recommend them enough. I wish I knew more people that needed a vet. There have been a couple of times that I have used a different vet for other people's animals and I can say the staff and doctors here are AMAZING!!! They don't over charge, they sincerely care about the pets and they knowledgeable in the care of the animals. I will never go anywhere else unless I move out of Sacramento. I would never recommend anyone to take a pet to Sunrise Blvd. Animal Hospital, EVER!! We took our dog, Anabel, to Sunrise Blvd. Animal Hospital for 13 years...regularly. She was a strong willed and healthy Jack Russell Terrier. Everything was all good and fine at every visit UNTIL our dear Anabel became old and her body started to give out. I called to get her in and was told I could "drop her off and a tech would look at her when they had time." Mind you, Anabel was dying, and I actually told the receptionist that. This fact did not matter to them. I said I did not want to leave her in a cage in her condition and could they please fit her in. NO, I was told I could bring her in two days later. Devastated, we took her to Loomis Basin in Rocklin. They made room for us immediately and we took Anabel in. Sadly her liver had failed and her body was indeed dying. We had to have her put down. Probably the worst day of our lives. To make matters even worse, no one has ever even contacted us to find out what ever happened with Anabel. It has been four months. I find that to be an unacceptable practice. I pray that the owner, Bill Fastiggi, reads these reviews...as I am not sure he is even aware of how heartless his staffers are. Sadly disappointed and will never take a pet there again or recommend anyone do so. I will recommend NOT going there.Read Less

We have been going to Sunrise Animal Hospital for about 25 years. The staff are great and everyone is friendly & very caring. Dr Fastiggi has treated all our dogs from puppyhood through their senior years. He is wonderful and I wouldn't take my dogs anywhere else. Dr Tammi has treated our dogs as well. She is also wonderful and I love how she just plops down on the floor to get to the dogs eye level. I have been coming here for about 14 years now and am never left disappointed. Both veterinarians are quite knowledgeble and so good with the animals. I usually have Dr. Fastiggi but because of a recent surgery he couldn't see my kittie and so we had Dr. Tammi. She taught me a few things about handling my kittie that I hadn't thought of, making care for my geraitric kittie, easy, safe and pain free (for myself). Always a great office to go to. You always feel welcome and they address any concerns you have in a timely manner. The front office and back office staff are amazing as well! We were hesitant to change vets, but finally got tired enough of driving clear across town to our old vet (whom we loved and trusted). One day we ran into an emergency with one of our dogs and our vet couldn't fit us in, so we brought her here. Then pretty soon we brought the cat, then another dog, and another... we still have one more to go! LOL I'm so glad we made the change. We love both doctors and all the staff. They take extra special care with all our babies and their special needs. Recently, we sadly had to let our Sable cross over, and Dr. Fastiggi and staff were all so kind and patient with us while we did our best to get through the decision making. Hardest day ever made just a little easier by them all. Sometimes they have fit us in on very busy days when we've had some urgent situations, but when they get to us they never seem rushed and still take the same time with us as with a regular appointment. The staff is super friendly. I have been bringing my pets for the last few years. They listen to our concerns, tell us new ways and tricks to better manage the newest member to our family.Last year before Thanksgiving, we lost our Rottweiler. We were devastated. On Father's day, my cousin brought over a puppy who was given to her from a stranger wanting to just get rid of him at Walmart. My family has had many pets and many vets over the years, and there is absolutely no question that Dr. Fastiggi and his crew are the best of the bunch. His office is a long haul from our house, but we drive by several other vets to get there because he's just that good. His love for animals comes through every moment that he's in the room. He knows their moods and their personalities, and does a great job of keeping them calm and making them comfortable. He also takes the time to listen to us about what's going on with our pets, to explain the causes of any problems, and to talk about various possible solutions. We always leave feeling like we've made the best possible decision. If you're looking for a new vet, definitely give Dr. Fastiggi a visit - we recommend him without reservation. Read Less
