They have a clean restroom. I am not a patient and do not own a pet. I was shopping at CVS and had to go to the bathroom so I went here since the cvs bathroom was dirty and I didn't want to use it. Armstrong pet was very nice to me and let me use their restroom. Their facility is beautiful inside and very clean! Their restroom was so clean as well! I love this pet hospital and I highly recommend it! They saved our dog's life today after he ingested many grapes. The doctors and techs are very caring. We moved into the area and needed a new Vet. They've seen both of our dogs now and the service has been top-notch.  The real beauty about Armstrong is that they are open on Saturdays, and have always been able to get us in right away - no waiting for weeks for an appointment.  They also only charge for necessary treatments and there is no up-selling.  Great experience! At almost thirteen years old, our beloved Toby had lost most of his eye sight, his hearing, suffered from joint pain, and had lost control of his bodily functions. But he was still the very best puppy. Armstrong Pet Hospital was wonderful and graceful as they helped Toby over the rainbow bridge. They were kind, empathetic, respectful, and gracious. Waiting room is super nice, big, open, clean etc. However, my appointment was at 3 but I didn't see the vet until 3:30. The vet was convinced my dog had parvo and wasn't "properly vaccinated" because I went through a breeder. I told him I was 100% positive my dog did not have parvo and I know 100% my dog has been vaccinated. All that to say, he tested for parvo and it came back negative. My dog went in for being lethargic and throwing up. We basically left with anti-nausea medication. I asked for blood work to be done and he said if my dog is still not feeling well within 24 hours to come. I am not happy with my visit at all. $200 later. My opinion was not appreciated and I will definitely not be going back. Read Less

I've taken all of my dogs to Armstrong Pet Hospital. They will work with you on cost, example: last night my dog, Sophie, ripped her dew claw on her front paw. Nobody knew until i got home after work and she started whining. I saw the injury at about 15 minutes to 6 and i rushed her over there (they close at 6). They squeezed me in and took care of Sophie. They offered me a couple of different options. I took the lower cost option and even though they could have pushed pain meds on me, they didn't. The doctor said she probably didn't need them. I have been to other veterinary hospitals that would have pushed them on me. These people at Armstrong Pet Hospital are friendly, helpful and, most importantly, my dogs love them! Treated our family with compassion and understanding. The day after Christmas we had to take our beloved dog, Bear in to be put down. He had diabetes and his condition had become much worse over Christmas weekend. We took Bear to Armstrong Pet Hospital and after examining Bear we were given a couple of choices regarding his care but ultimately decided the humane thing to do was to say goodbye. Three days later we received a condolence card with Bear's paw prints on it as a keepsake. This card means so much to our family and we can't express how highly we think about Armstrong Pet Hospital and their staff. I would highly recommend trusting your pet with them. My husband and I have been going to the Gills for years now. We started when one of our cats fell ill. He had FIP and wasn't even a year old. The disease is awful to watch and there is no cure. The doctors tried everything they could for us and did it with patience and empathy. Dr. Aarti came in from home on the day we decided Gus needed to be put down (a Saturday). Something my husband and I will never forget! We currently have 2 dogs and 4 cats so we are frequent customers. We won't go anywhere else! They are always clean and friendly, appointments can usually be made for next day, and sometimes even same day. We also love that they are open all day on Saturdays. An amazing office! Read Less

This clinic had the best reviews of all of the places I had looked up in the Clovis/Fresno area. So I called to schedule a check up and vaccinations for my cat. We live an hour and a half's drive away from there, so it's quite a journey to get her to the vet. When we got there, the clinic looked very clean and nice. Immediately, the lady helping me at the front desk was rude. She handed me a form to fill out about my cat and she was snotty when I asked her for help on how to answer one of the questions. She also was not helpful when I asked if my cat needed the leukemia shot, because she asked whether or not I wanted her to get it and I wasn't sure if she needed it. I'm not a vet, after all. She didn't seem to know, so she said she'd ask the people in the back and she never got back to me on that. She then told me to go sit down and they would get my cat back in a few minutes. The rude lady at the desk then came over and took the cat carrier, saying she was going to bring my cat back and she would be back in a few minutes. I assumed they were going to weigh her or something, and then I'd be invited back for the checkup. That never happened. She brought the cat back out and set her on the counter and told me she did great and it was over. What sort of checkup is that?! They just take your animal back for a few minutes and you aren't invited, so you have no idea what's going on back there. First of all, I'd really prefer to be present when they are giving my cat shots. Secondly, I wanted her to have an actual checkup, which involves the vet asking you questions about how your pet is doing and answering your questions as the exam moves along, not to mention informing you about how your pet's health seems to be. I was really disappointed, it was like the McDonald's version of a veterinarian's office. I never saw a vet, just the desk lady. She gave me the vaccination papers, so I saw later that the leukemia shot wasn't given and I have no idea why they decided not to since they didn't tell me. She then demanded $45, which I gave to her, and then I asked to use the bathroom. She seemed really put out that I asked to use their public bathroom and was snotty about that too. What a terrible experience, I would never take my cat back here!!! Read Less

They instantly put me at ease about taking my angel to a new doctor. They gave me an estimate and allowed me to decide what services I would be able to afford. This place is amazing! The staff is so nice and compassionate. I've taken several animals here but last year I had to take my cat in 3 times a week for bandage changes after multiple surgeries. They were very accommodating to my schedule and took her in anytime for me and sometimes let her stay while I slept since I work nights. Cant say enough good things about this place and the vets there especially Aarti Gill who saved my cats leg and her husband Gobind Gill who has treated my other animals. Read Less

Both our dogs are seen at Armstrong pet hospital. I can not say enough about Dr. Gill Dr. Gaheer and every single vet tech in this practice. We have always been treated with care, compassion and professionalism. I feel that Dr. Gill and Dr. Gaheer give honest realistic treatment options for our pets. Our older dog had surgery at this hospital and was well cared for. She was given compassionate care before surgery and made comfortable after surgery. Dr. Gaheer operated on her and did a wonderful job. The operation was on her leg, and we were worried about her wound opening but it did not and she had great results. The after care instructions were very clear and easy to follow. The doctor and the vet techs explained things perfectly. I have no doubt this surgery extended the life of our old girl and made her much more comfortable in her final days. Our younger dog was also recently treated here for a stomach problem. I was fearing the worst. Dr. Gill saw us right away and gave us a simple treatment plan and recovered our younger dog in a matter of days. I highly recommend any of the Veterinarians in this practice. The Vet techs at this practice are also the greatest. They take the time to be personable and caring. They have also explained things to me about treatment more than once without hesitation. It really reassures me that my fur babies are in skilled hands! This is a great animal care team! This is the best place I have every been to. Everyone is very sweet and caring. My French Bulldogs have bad allergy issues. The offered to keep them there, give them a Benedryl shot and monitor them for awhile after their vaccines. I felt very safe to leave them in their care. I also have a 22 year old cat that they help with mega colon and constipation issues. My mom also takes her cats to them. I will never take my furkids any where else. We were on our way to camp in Yosemite when our dog started to have an allergic reaction at about 1pm. We called several vets to see if we could walk in. Many places were out on lunch and wouldn't return until 3pm! Who takes a 2 hour lunch!?!  We called Armstrong and were greeted by a friendly receptionist who welcomed us to walk in. When we got there we were greeted by two very friendly gals. They were so pleasant and it was very relieving to be greeted by friendly staff. I'm very big on customer service and the staff here cpuldnTurns out our poor dog had an ear infection. The vet was very helpful and was able to give him medication to stop all the mess that was going on in his ear. The vet was good at explaining was we needed to do in order to make him good as new. He also assured us our pup would be fine and it was just a minor ear infection. The facility was very clean and modern. They got extra points because it smelled good too! Not too many veterinary offices smell very fresh (understandably so).  If we lived out here, this would be the office we would visit. Read Less

My dog has epilepsy and 4 other vet clinics refused to put my dog on medicine without $400 in blood work, and suggested i put him down. Not once did Armstrong pet hospital suggest i should do such a thing. Instead they put him on immediate medicine like he needed and only required that i need $110 for the blood work when i could afford it. They saved my pup, thank God for them. Read Less
