Clovis Equine Clinic

Clovis, California
General Info
Clovis Equine Clinic’s veterinary care runs at the same speed as the surrounding environment, Clovis. The clinic addresses local needs by implementing effective communication strategies, tailoring its schedule, and devising innovative follow-up techniques. Healthcare professionals start the session by reviewing the patient’s daily routines, level of physical activity, dietary patterns, time spent outdoors, and any recent alterations in lifestyle. Examinations encompass the eyes, ears, mouth, abdomen, skin, and the animal’s gait and mobility. The staff members narrate the step-by-step process while writing down the standard procedures, recent changes, and when to follow up. Such an approach also allows pet owners to track progress and adequately prepare themselves for the next stage. The Clovis Equine Clinic provides services such as vaccines, diagnostics, and nutrition consulting as well as treatment for allergies, parasites, weight shifts, and dental care. Healthcare professionals deal with illnesses such as arthritis and thyroid imbalance where they use the treatment programs that are sequential until the client fits in their home plan and time. Treatment plans offered to the clients include short-term plans, phased care and long-term monitoring. The clinic also sends visit summaries and homecare reminders via email. Households that have several pets and frequent changes in caregivers benefit from shared records and repeatable appointment scheduling. Every plan specifies the exact cost, when the visits will take place, and what to expect in the following days and weeks. Clovis Equine Clinic makes veterinary care a normal part of life for families in Clovis and surrounding areas by ensuring that the way it is structured and communicated is human. The team offers the following specialized services: Acupuncture, Bloodwork, Dental Care, Diagnostics, and Endoscopy. Owners are respected due to their care and attention to the specific needs of the pets. Whether it is a routine check-up or a complex surgery, the clinic guarantees that your pet will receive the best treatment possible in a calming and supportive environment.

I don't live in Clovis any longer. I moved to Idaho about a month ago. I've used Dr. Stabbe for at least 30 years, I think, if not more. I will miss him, as I will so many others. Things always happened to my horses on week-end or after 6:00 PM. Dr. Stabbe was always there when I needed him. I couldn't keep up with a schedule like Dr. Stabbe's. You people who use him have a special doctor for your horses. Good luck to all of you. Read Less

Stabbe is amazing! He's one of those vets that truly cares. He's worked on my mare when she coliced twice in one month and my big draft gelding who gets abscesses. He's even put a cast on my dog when he broken his leg and then redid it when he jumped in the pond the next day. The small animal clinic wanted almost $300 to do the cast and stabbe did if for much less. Highly recommend Dr. Stabbe. Read Less

We almost lost our mare Taz this past weekend due to colic (a twisted colon). Dr. Stabbe got to our place quickly and kept her alive and made arrangements for us to head to Davis to prepare for surgery. Luckily, the colic resolved itself and she will be home tomorrow. Dr. Stabbe gave her the needed time and chance which is the reason she is still with us!! Means more to us than I can even express! Thank you!!! Read Less

I guess if your more worried about the cost of excellent medical care for your animals then their health care, Clovis Equine Clinic might not be your best choice. But if you do care about your animals, and you want them to live, then this is the Dr.to go to. Your animals are like your kids. Would you go to your physician if your child had a life threatening desease and "haggle" with him over the cost of their medical care to cure them or save their life? I don't think so! You want a doctor you can trust to pull out all ths stops to save what you love. You want the best chances for your kid, your dog, your horse, your cat, whatever it may be to surivive because they are a part of your life and cost to save them is not the primary consideration!
