Vaccinations prevent highly contagious illnesses, which can easily be spread from pet to pet at dog parks and grooming salons.
Our veterinary hospital provides routine pet surgery, including spay and neuter procedures, which we strongly recommend for all pets. Doing so not only helps to control the unwanted animal population, but these procedures may also help to extend your pet’s life. I took my dog Wesson in he had a very sore rear end tail and hind legs.his tail was swollen at the base.they sedated my dog and gave him exrays and blood test both of which are inherently dangerous to animals.sent him home really groggy and he stayed that way all night the following day l took him out for a short walk l ran in to another person walking his dog we started talking he told me he was a veterinarian l told him about my dogs problem.he took one look at him and told me he had swimmers tail or limp tail syndrome. And all he needed was an anti-inflammatory .that he should not have been exrayed at until he had been prescribed medication.this place charged me $857.00 for procedures that should not have prescribed. And we're dangerous. And now they do not return my calls

We only use them for low cost shots but after our Appt. Last week we won't be going back. They truly act as if your a bother even being there.

I went back in and was worried I would be recharged because of it. They took me in right away and placed staples on with no charge! I was happy and honestly felt well taken care of.
This is a wonderful place to take your animals and they are open late! Huge benefit. Highly recommend this place for all your animal needs.

The staff seemed tires because it was the end of the day but...still awesome. They are open late and that helped me out with hours. They treated my Marley very nice. The review is really to tell you that the Dr sent the x rays to a radiologist to double check. At another vet, they did not do this and i liked that quality for peace of mind.
I would have given 5 stars, but they didn't offer to cut her nails. Other vets I've been to usually throw that in for free after paying for 400 dollar x rays. Overall I like the experience.

We did obtain great friendly efficient and significantly less costly service at another vet. that took only 25 minutes and cost us $65 as opposed to the $345 they were going to charge us here. Our dog Sookie is fine now. However no thanks to this establishment or it's employees. Took our dog there tail was acting wierd and she was yelping. Before we went we called asked if they could see the dog they said they could. Saw vet last name Gil, he Said it would be 2 hours later called back 6 hours later they have excuses only had one Dr on duty and waiting for dog since it ate. We told the Dr and Nurse she hasn't eaten earlier. I talked to the vet and said if the Dog isn't handled in 1.5 hrs I'm picking it up. He said they would handle it. Called me back a half hour later and said they were refusing service since they were busy and because I was confrontational. Question: How entitled do are you to say something is going to take 2 hours and 7 hours later its still not done and your going to say me holding you accountable to do what you said when you said is confrontational. They wanted to charge us 365$ for an xray and sedative. Would have paid it too. Picked up the Dog went to another vet at 7:30 in and out in 25 minutes cost only 65$ she diagnosed the issue as a tail sprain. Unless you want to pay extra money and get bad service go elsewhere.

I have been bringing my dog here for years, ignoring the fact they have always tried to make as much money from you as they can. So when I got a new puppy I started bringing him here as well. I brought my puppy here for the last time at the beginning of this week. My 6 month old puppy seemed to have an allergy to grass, it happens. Well they of course wanted to prescribe him the most expense pills they could, shampoo, and an injection to help with the rash. Paying a total of $260. The next day I went online to read side effects and what the manufacture says about dosages and was shocked to read the very first sentence being, "Do not use APOQUEL in dogs less than 12 months of age. APOQUEL may increase the chances of developing serious infections, and may cause existing parasitic skin infestations or pre-existing cancers to get worse." This is straight from the manufactures website. CLEARLY THE VET DID NOT EVEN LOOK AT MY DOG OR HIS CHART. Clearly he is less than 12 months, you can see that by just looking at him.
I called the office to see what they would have to say about this, and the girl I tell this to says, "Okay... and whats your question?" I told her I don't have a question, I'm not giving my dog this and I want a refund. Surprisingly they gave it to me, but wanted to prescribe me something else, and I said no thanks. I cannot trust those vets. I don't want anything they are going to offer me. Not to mention the "vet" was scared of my puppy?? This place is in it for the money. They will take advantage of people willing to spend good money to help their pets.
Needless to say; they are lucky I don't take legal action. I now have a new vet i will be taking BOTH my dogs to. Thank God I looked up the dosages online. Be careful if you continue to go here; and question everything.

Why vets get a bad reputation. There are plenty of other locations/vets in the area. This place cares about money much more than your pet. DON'T RISK IT. Go elsewhere. The vet (BRER is his name) will lie to you without hesitating. The staff might have a high school diploma, at best. Call and research other places before trusting this vet. If you must go here, question everything the vet tells you, because he WILL lie to you. In addition, my dog had to get staples and had an open wound but he would not give my dog a prescription. He would only let me by meds directly from him. The vet wants money, not to help your animal. Pretty unfortunate.

1 week later and my girl is already walking better than pre-surgery! I've never seen my dog so happy to see a vet tech when we went back for laser therapy (which tells me she was well cared for while she stayed at the hospital for 3 days). 0 hidden costs/fees; this is a doctor I will continue to bring my dogs back to.

He's extremely knowledgeable, honest, and friendly.1 week later and my girl is already walking better than pre-surgery! Had to put down my favorite dog of all time today. It had to be done. Much harder than I thought it would be. The Assistant/young man and the Veterinarian showed much compassion in our grief. They explained the process to us in detail to the point of making us comfortable.When the deed was done the Dr said , " She is now in Peace". Very comforting to hear those words. They allowed us to stay as long as needed and we did. I didn't think I would take it as hard as I did. Family Pet Hospital made the transition easier for us. RIP , Bouncy ,

Everyone at FPH was absolutely wonderful to my yorkies and me. Their prices are very reasonable. Dr. Brar and Dr. Singh were knowledgeable, with years of experience. They were also compassionate, kind and generous! They took care of my fur babies as if they were their own. Sadlly, I had to one let one travel to the rainbow bridge. I've had to let several of my furbabies go there, but this was my first experience at FPH. They have a candle in their lobby that they light, for their families that have to make this sad decision. There is also a sign asking everyone to be as quiet as possible, because someone is saying goodbye to a family member. This was absolutely the best experience I have ever had, letting a furbaby go. They do not rush you and the entire staff shares your sadness. I cannot express how wonderful FPH is. They will always be my fur babies vet! I would highly recommend them to everyone.

I don't even want to give one star.. Was there in December 2016 and was skeptical, the staff was kinda rude. Just had a situation today on the phone and I was right to think what I did in December. The staff is so unprofessional and out right rude. They won't answer your questions, they talk over you and when you ask to speak to a manager they abruptly hang up on you. However I did call back and talk to a manager after being rudely hung up on and she was nice but not apologetic for the way her staff member had acted. This was the first time I boarded my pets there and I'll never ever take my pets there again, nor will I refer them to anyone, there are so many other more Professional Veterinarian / Boarding facilities in the area. My advice is go somewhere else you'll be treated better. I can only imagine if they are this way with the customers how must they treat the animals being boarded. And.. After reading some of the reviews I see a lot of people have had the same experience I have. I should have read the reviews first, my mistake.

It's highly unprofessional to yell and use profanity in front of customers. Costs are about average. Not too hard to get an appointment. They will not put down your pet even if he's near death and uncomfortable. I've been going there for nearly 18 years and have done my best with his staff personnel and Dr Barr. Dr. Singh is great but he doesn't know how to staff his office or train them. The staff is just incompetent. They've lost a great, paying customer. I've chosen to go to Abby now.

Needed to find a Veterinarian who was compassionate with my anxiety prone Lab Retriever when she came down with a sudden bout of diarrhea. Loved this Vet. I believe we've found the right place. He was kind and careful with her, gave us medicine to help while we wait for a fecal culture. Didn't immediately jump to a whole battery of tests. Love that! Very reasonably priced. This dog Mommy is very pleased. We will be back.

I take her in and he has the audacity to say she's been suffering and should have been put down sooner. Are you kidding me??? And all the staff are rude as hell. Stay far away from this place

Having pets is a huge part of my life! So having the right Vet is critical. My cat had been poisoned, we truly thought she wouldn't pull through. That was the first time I truly got to know Dr. Singh. He spent a week giving her fluids and giving me hope. That was more than 18 years ago.
He dedicated so much time to saving my cats life it had a huge impact on me. I have brought all my cats and my dogs to him. He has also saved my pit's life when she was a pup and had Parvo and last summer he walked me through the process and checked on me constantly to see how my dog was recovering when she had torn her meniscus. I panicked various times and he was extremely encouraging, patient, and supportive. I have the highest regard for Family Pet Hospital and especially Dr. Singh!!!

After a sleepless night with a very itchy puppy, I called and spoke to Julie who got me a same day appointment. (We just moved back to CA and first tried another vet hospital who could never get us in in less than 5 days, but would suggest we call first thing every morning in hopes of getting in. That's kind of unacceptable when you have a sick pet.) Anyhoo, I show up for the appointment to be greeted by Julie, who is super cool. I'm in to see Dr. Singh quickly and he's awesome! I went in with a rescue puppy and they treated me like I've never owned a dog before. I've owned dogs all my life and I went to school for a vet tech. I am even a foster mom for dogs who get recused and need homes until adopted. My puppy I brought in has mange and they gave me meds that had stuff floating in the bottle. I called to ask why and they got very rude and hung up on me. Also while waiting in my room....back door was open And they talked major trash on two people that were there with their dog and cat. Will never go back. Not only are they rude...but they don't know what they're doing. If there were a chance go give them no stars..I would. Place is horrible. Never take your animal here.

I have 2 dogs, both of which I trust completely to Family Pet Hospital. One of my dogs is a 15+ year old schnauzer that I inherited when my mother passed away. I was not able to get him groomed without sedation or board him without fear he would bite someone, that was until I started using Family Pet Hospital. Not only can I board him without fear, he actually allows their groomers to groom him without biting.
My other dog is my baby and I wouldn't trust her care to just anyone...I highly recommend all their services for your pets.

THIS IS A AWFUL PLACE!! I took my sick cat Tootie in and they overcharged me for every treatment, i can say this because I compared my bill from Armstrong vet with this place and it was ten to fiftee...
THIS IS A AWFUL PLACE!! I took my sick cat Tootie in and they overcharged me for every treatment, i can say this because I compared my bill from Armstrong vet with this place and it was ten to fifteen dollars more for identical treatments, Tootie got sicker and i called and told the office manager and asked her what to do and to make a long awful story short she yelled at me so I went in and the actual vet yelled at me and made me feel so bad i started crying. Then he somehow got me to spend another 90 which i didn't have and he told me i should be grateful for whatever i get with the money I'm spending. Which now totaled over 300 dollars. And to top it all off they gave me the wrong prescription medicine which i just happened to notice right before i gave it to Tootie. I am so worried about Tootie and i just don't want anyone else to have to go through what i went through. Having a sick animal is one of the saddest hardest things we face in life because they become like family to us and to have a vet treat me so cruel just broke my heart.

I took my dog Wesson in he had a very sore rear end tail and hind legs.his tail was swollen at the base.they sedated my dog and gave him exrays and blood test both of which are inherently dangerous to animals.sent him home really groggy and he stayed that way all night the following day l took him out for a short walk l ran in to another person walking his dog we started talking he told me he was a veterinarian l told him about my dogs problem.he took one look at him and told me he had swimmers tail or limp tail syndrome. And all he needed was an anti-inflammatory .that he should not have been exrayed at until he had been prescribed medication.this place charged me $857.00 for procedures that should not have prescribed. And we're dangerous. And now they do not return my calls

We only use them for low cost shots but after our Appt. Last week we won't be going back. They truly act as if your a bother even being there.

I went back in and was worried I would be recharged because of it. They took me in right away and placed staples on with no charge! I was happy and honestly felt well taken care of.
This is a wonderful place to take your animals and they are open late! Huge benefit. Highly recommend this place for all your animal needs.

The staff seemed tires because it was the end of the day but...still awesome. They are open late and that helped me out with hours. They treated my Marley very nice. The review is really to tell you that the Dr sent the x rays to a radiologist to double check. At another vet, they did not do this and i liked that quality for peace of mind.
I would have given 5 stars, but they didn't offer to cut her nails. Other vets I've been to usually throw that in for free after paying for 400 dollar x rays. Overall I like the experience.

We did obtain great friendly efficient and significantly less costly service at another vet. that took only 25 minutes and cost us $65 as opposed to the $345 they were going to charge us here. Our dog Sookie is fine now. However no thanks to this establishment or it's employees. Took our dog there tail was acting wierd and she was yelping. Before we went we called asked if they could see the dog they said they could. Saw vet last name Gil, he Said it would be 2 hours later called back 6 hours later they have excuses only had one Dr on duty and waiting for dog since it ate. We told the Dr and Nurse she hasn't eaten earlier. I talked to the vet and said if the Dog isn't handled in 1.5 hrs I'm picking it up. He said they would handle it. Called me back a half hour later and said they were refusing service since they were busy and because I was confrontational. Question: How entitled do are you to say something is going to take 2 hours and 7 hours later its still not done and your going to say me holding you accountable to do what you said when you said is confrontational. They wanted to charge us 365$ for an xray and sedative. Would have paid it too. Picked up the Dog went to another vet at 7:30 in and out in 25 minutes cost only 65$ she diagnosed the issue as a tail sprain. Unless you want to pay extra money and get bad service go elsewhere.

I have been bringing my dog here for years, ignoring the fact they have always tried to make as much money from you as they can. So when I got a new puppy I started bringing him here as well. I brought my puppy here for the last time at the beginning of this week. My 6 month old puppy seemed to have an allergy to grass, it happens. Well they of course wanted to prescribe him the most expense pills they could, shampoo, and an injection to help with the rash. Paying a total of $260. The next day I went online to read side effects and what the manufacture says about dosages and was shocked to read the very first sentence being, "Do not use APOQUEL in dogs less than 12 months of age. APOQUEL may increase the chances of developing serious infections, and may cause existing parasitic skin infestations or pre-existing cancers to get worse." This is straight from the manufactures website. CLEARLY THE VET DID NOT EVEN LOOK AT MY DOG OR HIS CHART. Clearly he is less than 12 months, you can see that by just looking at him.
I called the office to see what they would have to say about this, and the girl I tell this to says, "Okay... and whats your question?" I told her I don't have a question, I'm not giving my dog this and I want a refund. Surprisingly they gave it to me, but wanted to prescribe me something else, and I said no thanks. I cannot trust those vets. I don't want anything they are going to offer me. Not to mention the "vet" was scared of my puppy?? This place is in it for the money. They will take advantage of people willing to spend good money to help their pets.
Needless to say; they are lucky I don't take legal action. I now have a new vet i will be taking BOTH my dogs to. Thank God I looked up the dosages online. Be careful if you continue to go here; and question everything.

The vet (BRER is his name) will lie to you without hesitating. The staff might have a high school diploma, at best. Call and research other places before trusting this vet. If you must go here, question everything the vet tells you, because he WILL lie to you. In addition, my dog had to get staples and had an open wound but he would not give my dog a prescription. He would only let me by meds directly from him. The vet wants money, not to help your animal. Pretty unfortunate.

Brought my 6 year old lab in for TPLO consultation and surgery a week ago. I was a little apprehensive at first going to a new vet for a surgery so I did as much homework as I could and Dr. Singh filled me in on the rest. He's extremely knowledgeable, honest, and friendly.
1 week later and my girl is already walking better than pre-surgery! I've never seen my dog so happy to see a vet tech when we went back for laser therapy (which tells me she was well cared for while she stayed at the hospital for 3 days). 0 hidden costs/fees; this is a doctor I will continue to bring my dogs back to.

Had to put down my favorite dog of all time today. It had to be done. Much harder than I thought it would be. The Assistant/young man and the Veterinarian showed much compassion in our grief. They explained the process to us in detail to the point of making us comfortable.When the deed was done the Dr said , " She is now in Peace". Very comforting to hear those words. They allowed us to stay as long as needed and we did. I didn't think I would take it as hard as I did. Family Pet Hospital made the transition easier for us. RIP , Bouncy ,

Everyone at FPH was absolutely wonderful to my yorkies and me. Their prices are very reasonable. Dr. Brar and Dr. Singh were knowledgeable, with years of experience. They were also compassionate, kind and generous! They took care of my fur babies as if they were their own. Sadlly, I had to one let one travel to the rainbow bridge. I've had to let several of my furbabies go there, but this was my first experience at FPH. They have a candle in their lobby that they light, for their families that have to make this sad decision. There is also a sign asking everyone to be as quiet as possible, because someone is saying goodbye to a family member. This was absolutely the best experience I have ever had, letting a furbaby go. They do not rush you and the entire staff shares your sadness. I cannot express how wonderful FPH is. They will always be my fur babies vet! I would highly recommend them to everyone.

I don't even want to give one star.. Was there in December 2016 and was skeptical, the staff was kinda rude. Just had a situation today on the phone and I was right to think what I did in December. The staff is so unprofessional and out right rude. They won't answer your questions, they talk over you and when you ask to speak to a manager they abruptly hang up on you. However I did call back and talk to a manager after being rudely hung up on and she was nice but not apologetic for the way her staff member had acted. This was the first time I boarded my pets there and I'll never ever take my pets there again, nor will I refer them to anyone, there are so many other more Professional Veterinarian / Boarding facilities in the area. My advice is go somewhere else you'll be treated better. I can only imagine if they are this way with the customers how must they treat the animals being boarded. And.. After reading some of the reviews I see a lot of people have had the same experience I have. I should have read the reviews first, my mistake.

It's highly unprofessional to yell and use profanity in front of customers. Costs are about average. Not too hard to get an appointment. They will not put down your pet even if he's near death and uncomfortable. I've been going there for nearly 18 years and have done my best with his staff personnel and Dr Barr. Dr. Singh is great but he doesn't know how to staff his office or train them. The staff is just incompetent. They've lost a great, paying customer. I've chosen to go to Abby now.

Needed to find a Veterinarian who was compassionate with my anxiety prone Lab Retriever when she came down with a sudden bout of diarrhea. Loved this Vet. I believe we've found the right place. He was kind and careful with her, gave us medicine to help while we wait for a fecal culture. Didn't immediately jump to a whole battery of tests. Love that! Very reasonably priced. This dog Mommy is very pleased. We will be back.

This place is a joke. I had to give 1 star instead of the -5 like I would have. Came in to put down my very old cat she was no longer eating and had an abcess. Dr said oh no she'll be ok here's some meds. A week later she's still not eating and looks worse. I take her in and he has the audacity to say she's been suffering and should have been put down sooner. Are you kidding me??? And all the staff are rude as hell. Stay far away from this place

Having pets is a huge part of my life! So having the right Vet is critical. My cat had been poisoned, we truly thought she wouldn't pull through. That was the first time I truly got to know Dr. Singh. He spent a week giving her fluids and giving me hope. That was more than 18 years ago.
He dedicated so much time to saving my cats life it had a huge impact on me. I have brought all my cats and my dogs to him. He has also saved my pit's life when she was a pup and had Parvo and last summer he walked me through the process and checked on me constantly to see how my dog was recovering when she had torn her meniscus. I panicked various times and he was extremely encouraging, patient, and supportive. I have the highest regard for Family Pet Hospital and especially Dr. Singh!!!

From doggie allergies, yearly vaccinations and in case of illness the doctors always go above and beyond. The staff has always been outstanding with us as well. We love you Family Pet Hospital.

Brought a stray cat in here twice for Exams. Doctor told me it was a male & might have a blockage. Ended up taking my cat to an emergency vet to find out it was a girl. Never going back.

After a sleepless night with a very itchy puppy, I called and spoke to Julie who got me a same day appointment. (We just moved back to CA and first tried another vet hospital who could never get us in in less than 5 days, but would suggest we call first thing every morning in hopes of getting in. That's kind of unacceptable when you have a sick pet.) Anyhoo, I show up for the appointment to be greeted by Julie, who is super cool. I'm in to see Dr. Singh quickly and he's awesome! Nice, straight forward, kind of Doc that I appreciate! One by one the techs stopped by to say hi to my pup. Left there feeling relieved! Definitely our new Vet! Thank you so much!!

I went in with a rescue puppy and they treated me like I've never owned a dog before. I've owned dogs all my life and I went to school for a vet tech. I am even a foster mom for dogs who get recused and need homes until adopted. My puppy I brought in has mange and they gave me meds that had stuff floating in the bottle. I called to ask why and they got very rude and hung up on me. Also while waiting in my room....back door was open And they talked major trash on two people that were there with their dog and cat. Will never go back. Not only are they rude...but they don't know what they're doing. If there were a chance go give them no stars..I would. Place is horrible. Never take your animal here.

I have 2 dogs, both of which I trust completely to Family Pet Hospital. One of my dogs is a 15+ year old schnauzer that I inherited when my mother passed away. I was not able to get him groomed without sedation or board him without fear he would bite someone, that was until I started using Family Pet Hospital. Not only can I board him without fear, he actually allows their groomers to groom him without biting.
My other dog is my baby and I wouldn't trust her care to just anyone...I highly recommend all their services for your pets.

THIS IS A AWFUL PLACE!! I took my sick cat Tootie in and they overcharged me for every treatment, i can say this because I compared my bill from Armstrong vet with this place and it was ten to fiftee...
THIS IS A AWFUL PLACE!! I took my sick cat Tootie in and they overcharged me for every treatment, i can say this because I compared my bill from Armstrong vet with this place and it was ten to fifteen dollars more for identical treatments, Tootie got sicker and i called and told the office manager and asked her what to do and to make a long awful story short she yelled at me so I went in and the actual vet yelled at me and made me feel so bad i started crying. Then he somehow got me to spend another 90 which i didn't have and he told me i should be grateful for whatever i get with the money I'm spending. Which now totaled over 300 dollars. And to top it all off they gave me the wrong prescription medicine which i just happened to notice right before i gave it to Tootie. I am so worried about Tootie and i just don't want anyone else to have to go through what i went through. Having a sick animal is one of the saddest hardest things we face in life because they become like family to us and to have a vet treat me so cruel just broke my heart.
