Troy S Ford Veterinary Surgery

Clovis, California
General Info
Troy S Ford Veterinary Surgery in Clovis helps California families handle the pet lives and health issues, assisting them to avoid daily life stress through wellness visits and behavioral adjustments. An open discussion takes place during the initial appointment where such things as changes and consistencies are examined, along with how well the animal fits into home life. Examinations evaluate the physical condition, oral health, and respiratory rhythm in addition to skin or joint flexibility and any changes in posture or temperament. Veterinarians examine the issues like itching and disinterest in toys alongside slow motions and different appetites to determine where to start the care. Troy S Ford Veterinary Surgery offers various services, including vaccinations, diagnostics, allergic-itchy skin solutions, consultations on senior pet health, dentistry checks, and breed-specific risk evaluations. The recommendations target either the owner’s calendar, e.g., stagger the dogs’ flea treatment to a less busy period, or the dog’s behaviour, e.g., match their worming dose frequency with activity-related risks. Seasonality housing setup diet trends and social interactions receive focus especially for pets living in households with children or senior animals. Plans evolve as the pet’s needs and the family’s abilities dictate, based on behavioral signals from the pet, medication effects and energy fluctuations. Periodic evaluations to update the recommendations and detect any missed warning signs. The tool’s owners receive clear guidelines that eliminate guesswork when using the tool. Troy S Ford Veterinary Surgery helps pet families in Clovis and beyond, CA, be confident at each stage of the care journey by facilitating routines that ensure timely responses and gradual change. The team offers the following specialized services: Anesthesiology, Behavioral Counseling, Bloodwork, Boarding, and Cardiology. Clients consistently commend the practice for the devotion and attention they give to their pets’ needs. Whether it is a routine check-up or complex surgery, the clinic ensures your pet receives the best possible care in a relaxed and friendly setting. Advanced services like chiropractic care, dental care, and emergency care are available on-site to simplify and optimize your pet’s health management.

Dr. Ford is absolutely the most down to earth, realistic and best vets I have ever encountered. I live in Three Rivers and drive 2 hours each way to see him. Most recently, my weanling was displaying signs of a club foot. He diagnosed it, and did surgery on him immediately. He put a cast type of bandage on that stayed for the entire two weeks it was supposed to. I did not have to dress and wash it every day, and give daily shots of PCN. In two weeks, Dr. Ford removed the bandage, the wound was perfectly healed and dry. The foot is really breaking nicely now after two months post surgery, and I believe he will heal as though there was never a problem. I had gone to other vets before I found Dr. Ford, and they were treating it like a heart transplant and wanted to charge as much. I thank Greg Sanchez from Sanchez Feeds in Hanford for giving me a referral to Dr. Ford. He saved me grief and several thousand dollars. I am very thankful there are still vets out there like Dr. Ford. Read Less
