Left my puppy over the weekend. Staff was very friendly. However, staff should explain more on boarding details. I had to ask several questions before leaving my pup. I also think they should open Sunday especially if dog is boarding at least have the option to pick up on that day. Other than that had a good experience. Great place, staff was very friendly and caring. Very clean facility, answered all my questions and very reasonable prices compared to other vets in the area. I would recommend for sure! I was an emotional wreck. My sweet darling dog of 15 years got very sick. She had to be put down. The people here are the most sincere, caring people I have ever met at a veterinary clinic. My dog recently had a mass removed from another veterinarian and his incision site was really swollen and had discharge. My other vet was closed and I needed a vet desperately on a Saturday afternoon. Tried calling a few places and this was the only place that promptly answered the phone and told me to bring in my dog without hesitation. When I arrived here, I was helped quickly, filled out a form and saw the vet within about 15 minutes. The veterinarian was very helpful and did not try to sell me any additional services or tests. At the conclusion my dog was fine and the veterinarian just cleaned the incision area and said it was normal due to the large mass removal. I only paid $32 dollars for the visit, which was awesome because I spent enough on the surgery already. I would definitely recommend this place if you need a good,  honest veterinarian with friendly and helpful staff. Read Less

I had to take my dog in because she's getting old and really didn't want to walk around or even stand so I knew something was wrong. I looked around and decided to go here because not only is it down the street from me but also the reviews were great and they weren't wrong one bit. My dog has always been a little feisty so I warned them and they all were so loving and understanding. Even my feisty dog was quite calm towards them (which is very unusual for her).  They treated her so well and the Doctor was great! Nothing but good things to say about this place! Read Less

Came here tonight because we had to put our boy down, a task I had never had to do or be a part of. I happen to choose this place because I pass it everyday to and from work, and I've been to other vets around here, and all seemed to be all about the mighty dollar... we walked in, were told costs and procedure, and were given a room. When it was finally time to send Max to heaven, dr Ivan walked in and informed us of what would happen and what was going on. Dr Ivan was very compassionate, and warm (I know, sounds weird coming from a guy, but after 11.5 years with Max, my emotions consumed me). Dr Ivan administered the solution, and we watched Max cross the rainbow... all the while, the staff was awesome! We're thankful that Corona Community Veterinary Hospital is open later in the evenings when most veterinarians have already closed. Our dog hurt his paw one evening recently and Dr. Ivan was able to see him even though they were about to close. Our dog was provided excellent care. The doctor provided a very thorough examination and also gave him an injection for pain so that he would be more comfortable. As difficult as it was to do, I had to put my 12 year old cat, Mike, down last week. He was very sick and there was nothing more that could be done to help him. We LOVE Dr. Ivan. He is so kind and patient. Really explains everything and has no problem repeating himself how ever many times he needs to till you understand. The staff is WONDERFUL ! We are fairly new to the area & had to take our 14 year old cat in as an emergency. He had not eaten for the past 3 days and had diarrhea. Dr. Ivan was very nice. Found this vet hospital that closes later than most. Appointments and walk-ins are welcome. Staff provided friendly and excellent customer service from beginning to end. Dr. Ivan was amazing, personable and very knowledgeable with my pets condition. They also go over cost in detail before proceeding with treatment. The list of service/treatment ranges from lowest cost to highest cost which allows you to choose according to your budget. Check in on Yelp for a first time office visit discount. First it was my kitten socks, she was bitten by a dog. She needed stitches and to be drained. And a big thank you to Dr. Ivan for the surgery on her, she's running around as good as new! Then next it was my little puppy, bitten on the nose by our other dog! Dr. Ivan reassured my mother and I that he was fine, gave us medicine for him! And he's out being his playful self again! Dr. Strathman is awesome, just wish he had better front of house staff. I normally use Norco Animal Hospital but was indifferent to the service I received there so I decided to try CCVH instead. The staff at CCVH seems to be lacking in knowledge and professionalism, which is a complete shame. I felt like I knew more than the staff at CCVH, which of course did not leave me feeling very confident in trusting them with my beloved pets. Do these girls even own or like animals? I stuck with the appointment anyways and I am glad I did because Dr. Strathman turned out to be a really great vet. Luckily he made up for his staff's shortcomings. Being an animal lover/owner for all these years has allowed me to meet my fair share of vets, Dr. Strathman is in my top 3. That's a huge compliment. Unfortunately he is selling himself and his abilities short with his current staff. It's a shame so many pets are missing out on great care because their owners are turned off by the CCVH staff. I don't blame them. Front of house staff represents the business and first impressions are everything. We had such a great visit with our new dog I'm actually writing a review about them- we finally have found a vet we love! Our family has been to other vets in Corona and no one has even come close to the kind of care this hospital provided. We had a great experience beginning to end, everyone was very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable, VERY different from other places we've been. Our cat Patches got in a fight and had some cuts and scrapes. We took him to Corona Community Veterinary Hospital. The staff was professional and friendly and seemed to really care about Patches. He was given stitches and some medicine. They explained about infections in cats and I am REALLY glad we took him in. We will be going back. Very happy here. Read Less

Our 14 year old cat needed to be euthanised. He had kidney failure. The doctor and the staff at Corona Community Veterinary Hospital were very nice. They treated us with dignity and treated Whiskers as if he was their own pet. We are grateful for such compassionate care and will be taking our other pets to see Dr. Strathman in the future. We had the best experience with the Doctor and his staff here yesterday. Our cat had breathing problems and doctor Stratham was the only one who would see us right away. Shaina and the doctor answered all of my questions and helped our family understand what the problem was and gave our cat treatment that helped right away. We will be returning with all of our pets.. I don't usually write reviews but after reading the others I wanted people to know that if you want to be treated like family, this vet office is family run and they definitely treat you and your pets like family. Stay away from this place. It's very suspicious that they asked us for OUR social security number, place of work etc. To top it off, they offered to serve us ONLY if we gave them cash--basically asking us to give them money under the table. When we asked what they needed the number for, they just said it was their policy and repeated that we would have to pay in cash if we didn't want to fill out the form. After this, they offered to let us talk to the manager, who turned out to be the vet's daughter, who took us into a room and told us brashly that we would have to fill out the form or they would not see our dog. We asked what they needed the number for again and she told us we were playing games and that she would have to escort us out, very angrily. When we asked for the form back, since it had our name and address on it, they REFUSED, and told us to leave, repeatedly saying we were paying games. Needless to say we felt extremely offended and appalled that they would rather turn us down and let our dog continue to suffer than take us. If you take your dog or cat here, remember YOUR DOG IS NOT THEIR FIRST PRIORITY. Apparently, policy is. Dear shana, you may lie and lie again, but our paperwork was fully filled out with the exception of the social security number which is not required to be obtained by law. The only reason EMPLOYERS need this information is for payroll and criminal background checks and by landlords for credit checks. You do not need to do any of these things... or do you? Read Less
