Our family absolutely love Dr Sandhu, Dr Sing and staff at South Corona Pet Hospital. Dr Sandhu took excellent care of our 2 Jack Russell Terriers right up to the very end of their lives and provided my family great comfort and compassion when they passed away. We were very touch by the handwritten sympathy card sent to us by the staff that contained a small packet of seeds to plant in memory of our beloved pets. We were also able to obtain a pressed paw print as a keepsake. We've since adopted 3 new puppies and we completely trust taking them to South Corona Pet Hospital. Dr Sandhu and his staff are extremely knowledgeable, professional, will go the extra mile in order to provide the best treatment/care for our pets while making it affordable for all including discounted vacinations every Saturdays. Brought my pup in to be neutered. The waiting room was clean and nice. The vet tech at the desk was very patient in answering my questions and going over the different options. So I got a puppy from a (shady) lady who changed her story 10x but I wanted to help the pup. Once I held her I noticed a huge growth like thing on her head near her ear and upon contacting dr Google I concluded it might be a tick, she also had little reddish bugs on her. I took her in, they determined she did in fact have ticks, so they gave me the treatment plan to ok the costs (which I appreciated. The vet I met with said she didn't have fleas but would take her back to remove all her ticks. They said they found a few and removed them. Well I get to the car (mind you I have 3 kids with me) and see that the puppy still had those reddish tiny bugs, I thought they were small ticks (I have no experience with this stuff..). They took her back and gave her to the vet who told them it was fleas (who had told me she doesn't have fleas) and the monthly stuff they put on her would kill them but I could pay for a $5 pill that would kill them immediately, which I chose to do.Well fast forward, I get home and end up taking off 8 more ticks. I was annoyed that I paid for tick removal and still found 8 more. The next time I took her in, I told them, and they said "ya it's hard because she has long fur". Ok, we'll take the time and look for them like I did. Why did I pay for tick removal to only have to do it myself? Anyway, I've taken her back a few more times because she has roundworms and coccidia which didn't clear up with the first dewormers they gave me. They finally gave her panacur c which cost 3x more thru them then on Amazon! So do your research, ask them for the medication and dosage so you can get it yourself if you're looking to save money. The girls always seem to be nice, especially the shorter one with dark brown/black hair, I like when she's there. Nothing is wrong with them, but nothing to really rave about either.. Read Less

I advise everyone to NEVER come to this disgusting terrible place. My dog had perfect health, and just went in for an ear cleaning. He died within an hour of us picking him up. We called the office and spoke to a lady before he passed away, and the lady told us to not worry about anything and said that it was NORMAL that he was gasping for air and not being able to walk. He soon suffocated, because his own lungs were filled with fluid due to the doctors unknowledgeable mind. South corona pet hospital lied to us and to the court, AND they changed my dogs medical records in order to try and hide the fact that they made a mistake!!! I'm still not sure what I paid for, and I'm still trying to figure out how I feel about the experience. I drove 42 miles to come and see this vet because it was highly recommended. To be fair I've had very limited experience in dealing with animal doctors. Parking here is plentiful and the office also has reserved spots in front of their suite so it makes for a very pleasant parking experience. The doggie I was taking in was having issues walking so this was very helpful. This office also has a groomer so it makes for a busy front desk, which is a bit anxiety causing for the animal and myself. After waiting for 15 minutes I was asked to sign in which I already had. I suspect they thought I was a returning grooming person. The place appears to be clean and temperatured controlled. I became a bit concerned when his vitals where being taken I said if I can have a minute I can pull up all his info date of birth, breed etc, she said it didn't matter and put "mixed" as a breed and today's date as his birthdate the technician weighed him on at 17 lbs rather than 15lbs. That read on the scale. She never touched the dog so I thought maybe the doctor would come in and examine the dog. She came back with an invoice for 400 dollars. Yes it was automized but it may as well been in Chinese, I had no idea what things were and why they were needed. XRays okay let's do that. Blood tests okay let's do that. Remember he is lots of pain and can't walk, so another tech comes and starts to pull on his leash, I say have you read his chart, please don't pull him he is unable to move. It was very disheartening that they didn't know or remember or cared that the dog was in pain and couldn't walk. So 1.5 hours later the doctor tells me if I want the X-rays read it and some other test for another 200.00 dollars. Okay so I got X-rays but no reading of the X-rays? I'm so confused, and I am feeling stuck between a rock and knife. Basically I paid a bunch of money to be told nothing is wrong with the dog, why he's limping? The next day I did receive a call asking how he was? Really? Well he's basically the same expect a little more broke. :) Read Less

Worst animal hospital ever. Took our cat to get checked because he hasn't pooped and ate for 3 days straight and we were so worried. So they told us they need $800 to do tests, hospitalizations, iv, etc, which is understandable but we are just 2 minimum waged paid people who want to help our baby but in an affordable way. We asked if we could just do a test and iv to keep him hydrated since he hasn't been drinking water either but the doctor declined and said it's necessary to do all the above. So we ended up telling him that we can't afford it, then the doctor straight up told us that it's actually too late for our cat to do anything to save him! SO WHY WOULD YOU SUGGEST AN $800 WORTH OF TREATMENT IF YOU KNEW IT WOULDN'T DO ANYTHING?! Oh yeah! Because this is one of the many hospitals that don't care for the animals and only the money. South Corona Pet Hospital saved our cat's life. Trouble had pyometra, a life threatening disease that we'd never heard of before so of course we didn't recognize the symptoms. When we took her in, she needed surgery immediately. The doctor and staff treated Trouble and my family with compassion and care. They showed us her x-rays and explained everything thouroughly. They did not take advantage of our grief and over charge for services. The doctor performed the surgery, kept her over night and saw her again for a follow up. We recently moved to Corona and we were searching for a new vet. Our friend recommended South Corona Pet Hospital. Recently my dog got sick with heat rashes. I called their office for an appointment and staff was very friendly and helpful. During my visit to the Pet Hospital Vet and his assistant were very gentle while examining my dog. Three days later I received a call from the Pet Hospital office to check how my dog is doing. I am thrilled with the service this office provides. Not all of us have the financial ability to spend thousands of dollars on our pets so I have always appreciated that they don't try to scam me or get my money with unecessary tests or treatment. I've been a regular here for a long time. All my pets have been a patient at one time or another. I've had to say goodbye to 2 pets in the past 8 yrs. And they've handled both with great compassion. My only pet now is a senior now and has a condition which has taken a while but it has finally been put under control and my little dog is much more comfortable and playful. A couple years ago we had an urgent situation on a Sunday with our beloved pet. We took her to South Corona Pet Hospital and the care she received there was very satisfying. They helped us to figure out what was wrong and referred us to a specialist and when it was time they helped us to say goodbye. It was all handled very well through a very very tough time. Absolutely loved this place. Got both of my cats groomed and I didn't have a worry about leaving them there. Staff was very friendly and my cats came out unharmed. Got their shots up to date too. Not very many places I'd trust to groom my fuzzy kitty's just because cats hate it...but I'd definitely take them back for vet needs as well. Read Less

We just love this place. All 3 of my dogs have now come here for some reason or another. The office staff is so sweet and knowledgable & the doctor really seems to know what he's talking about! I'm writing this review because last night we called the office after business hours concerned that our dog might have mouth cancer & they were so kind and let us come in immediately for an additional charge. But peace of mind is worth more money. They let us know he just had gingivitis and scheduled us for a teeth cleaning the next morning. He is a happy boy with clean teeth! The staff called and gave me an update and remembered us when I came back. I felt like they really were taking care of my sweet boy. Definitely recommend! Also their prices are very reasonable and they don't try to tack on things that aren't necessary. They give you your options and let you know which ones are optional. Read Less

This review is long overdue! South Corona Pet Hospital, thank you from our whole family for taking care of our American Bulldog. A little background...we took our dog to Riverside County Dept of Animal Services to be neutered. Right after, our dog's testicles swelled up and he continued to be lethargic after the surgery. We took him back to Riverside County Dept of Animal Services and they said they wouldn't remove the testicles (as should have been done in the first place since he is a large breed and swelling is common if testicles aren't removed apparently) because he was running a fever. The whole reason he was running a fever was because of the surgery performed by Riverside County Dept of Animal Services. Super frustrating. We were stuck. Our regular vet is South Corona Pet Hospital, however we were trying to save a few bucks by taking him to Riverside County Dept of Animal Services. Big mistake. Long story short, our dog also contracted pneumonia from Riverside County Dept of Animal Services. Just fabulous. South Corona Pet Hospital worked with us to keep costs down and were very candid about the pros and cons of every decision we had to make in the process of trying to save our dog. We almost put him down 3 times in the course of a few weeks. South Corona Pet Hospital went above and beyond by calling us throughout the few weeks to see how he was doing. It wasn't just the vets calling, it was the vet techs as well. They didn't nickle and dime us at every juncture. We really had the sense that we were all in this together. Because of South Corona Pet Hospital, the surgery was redone, his pneumonia cleared up, and our 3 year old American Bulldog has re-established his place in our family. Read Less

Wow! Finally a good pet hospital! My dog needed a dental cleaning...not only were they affordable, but he ended up being done a lot sooner than the end of the day. My previous vet would have drop off between 7-9am and pick up between 4-6pm.  I dropped my dog off at 8:30a, and was able to pick him up at 11:30a. Oh, the best part?! NO surprise "extra" fees! The lobby was clean and smelled fresh, not like a yucky hospital smell. The front desk was very nice! They smiled! When I called they were extremely helpful over the phone and took their time answering my questions. And the next day after the dental they called to do a follow up to see how my dog was doing! Also, there was an elderly woman hard of hearing and the one receptionist took her time to kindly explain slowly and loudly so she could hear her and understand so as not to over Medicate her cat.Really like this place, so hard finding good vets to trust and not price gouge or take advantage when you're in need. This place is amazing. My dog is turning 3 years old this month and we've been going here since he was 9 weeks old for all his shots, check-ups, and more serious stuff, too. They have the best prices around and a truly caring staff. When my dog got really sick at 10 weeks of age they did everything they could to help him get better, quickly. He had to go on monthly treatments/check ups for a while and they started giving me discounts because we were there so often. When my cat died, all I did was call to inquire about cremation, and before I had even gone in to see them a condolence card from them arrived in the mail. They have great discounts on Saturdays for immunizations and boosters. If you're a regular customer they'll even do your pets nails for Free as a walk in service! They also have really great, fair prices for micro-chipping. In summary, I LOVE THIS PLACE, especially Dr. Sandhu, and will continue to go there as long as I have pets and live within a 1 hour radius of this place. Read Less
