Our mission is to provide the highest quality veterinary medical care in a friendly, relaxed setting throughout the life of your pet. Our services and facilities are designed to assist in routine preventive care for young, healthy pets; early detection and treatment of disease as your pet ages; and complete medical and surgical care as necessary during his or her lifetime.

I have to believe the person writing a one star review has an ulterior motive (competition, payment, something). I have brought my cat, Pigpen, here for 10 years, and my dog, Baron, for 5. The stability of the same doctors year after year, kind employees, and excellent care keeps me coming back. Yes, they are more expensive than other vets. Yes, they are busy and may forget to call you to notify you that some medication came in yesterday. However, they also don't waste your time or money. What they do, the will charge appropriately for based on their quality and location. They won't however, do anything unnecessary, and will actively steer you from seeking unnecessary (read expensive) care that will provide little to no benefit. Especially with my Siberian Husky that has a lot of food and digestion problems, they have taught me how to bring him from a sick, 20 pound underweight, stray that was a repeat offender at the county animal shelter. Now he is ideal weight, running, healthy, and happy. His digestion is excellent and his attitude is Huskellent! I am happy to be moving from San Diego, but sad to leave behind these vets.

I used to bring my cat here 20 years ago! Now I have a young rescue dog and they have been just as great as I remember from back then. I only have them 4 stars since we've only been twice so far and neither time did I leave feeling gouged or nickeled and dimed. They are really nice, mostly run on schedule and are fair priced.

Dr. Stone was great. Very caring and knowledgeable. Our dog jumped off the roof and fractured multiple ribs. Wouldn't hesitate to return. Clean office and kind staff.

I'd been going to the coronado veterinary hospital for over 10 years and because of their actions I had to change course. I spent over $300 on a blood test so i could get my dog on some medication fo...
I'd been going to the coronado veterinary hospital for over 10 years and because of their actions I had to change course. I spent over $300 on a blood test so i could get my dog on some medication for her arthritis. They told me results would be in in 2 days. After they didn't contact me, i gave them time and called them 5 days later. The smarmy receptionist let me know that my dog has abnormalities in the liver and the kidneys and they will contact me in two more days because they are "conferring with another vet on what to do". So its now been over 10 days in total and they still haven't reached out to me. They left me hanging on the word "abnormalities". They obviously aren't "Pet Friendly" and are way too busy to deal with "over reactive" patients. But come on 10 days!!! I have the patience of a saint.

Dr. Stone and her staff are FANTASTIC! Dr. Stone is kind, loving, respectful, knowledgable and fair. Our white lab, Miss Molly was hit by and received emergency care in Mission Valley and has had daily and weekly care with Dr. Stone. Dr. Stone's care is exceptional for the fur baby and this fur momma. Her prices are fair and she gives a military discount. I highly recommend her.

Horrible communication between vet and potential adoptive homes. I was trying to adopt a cat and was being pulled by a string. I was told I'd be notify with the decision. Not once was I called and when I finally got in touch I was told a home was already found. I would have appreciated the information so I could look else where. I know a veterinary hospital is busy but it would have been nice to not waste my time nor there's.

While I was away on vacation, my dogchild had a bit of a poopey problem. The staff at Coronado Vet Hospital was very accommodating getting my pet sitter in to see a doctor within 24hrs and prescribing the appropriate medication. The doctor called me from the appointment to discuss treatment as well as followed up via email to check on her comfort and the success of treatment. Prices were also very reasonable and service was 5 star. Thank you Coronado Vet Hospital!

I am blown away by how fantastic vet Christy Walker is! Recently our Golden Retriever had an odd growth and we were afraid it would be lymphoma like our previous Golden. Dr Walker was amazing. She went above and beyond to help us with 3 tests to rule it out, and we are thrilled that it was benign. Even if we had ended up with awful news, we still would highly recommend Dr Walker. The caring attention she paid us made us feel like a family member. I received emails from her checking on our doggie at 11pm one night, and another time on a Sunday on her day off. Her care and concern was so apparent. She not only loves animals, but people as well. Thank you, thank you, Dr Walker!!!

I have to believe the person writing a one star review has an ulterior motive (competition, payment, something). I have brought my cat, Pigpen, here for 10 years, and my dog, Baron, for 5. The stability of the same doctors year after year, kind employees, and excellent care keeps me coming back. Yes, they are more expensive than other vets. Not once was I called and when I finally got in touch I was told a home was already found. I would have appreciated the information so I could look else where. I know a veterinary hospital is busy but it would have been nice to not waste my time nor there's.

I am blown away by how fantastic vet Christy Walker is! Recently our Golden Retriever had an odd growth and we were afraid it would be lymphoma like our previous Golden. Dr Walker was amazing. She went above and beyond to help us with 3 tests to rule it out, and we are thrilled that it was benign. Even if we had ended up with awful news, we still would highly recommend Dr Walker.
