Have been seeing Coronado Vet Clinic for over 20 years now for all my veterinary needs with all my feline and canine companion animals. I like how they really care about the animals and people alike, from receptionists over technicians all the way to the veterinarians themselves. On top of that they are now available 7 days a week. Nobody in this city beats that.

My ferret has a swollen leg, possibly broken, made an appointment with "the exotic pet vet" come to find out they didn't even know I was brining a ferret!!! No one in the office knew how to handle a ferret. The vet was unprepared, under educated and haggled the price of the xray ($150)with her technician in front of us, only to find out it is almost $20 more than the vet told us ($167 for one xray?!) An additional $75 for each additional xray needed (2 may be needed) which they said is highly probable. Even after all of this I won't even have treatment for my ferret because they will need to refer me to a specialist! That's why I made an appointment here in the first place. I am so displeased with the quality of service and knowledge that was displayed today, I will never be back, and I will let everyone know of your awful prices! I will be taking my ferret to a vet who is better equipped. Worst $25 I have EVER SPENT! AND MY FERRET IS STILL IN PAIN!!! the vet wouldn't even prescribe something for the swelling. Save the trouble take your sick pets to a REAL clinic!!

Had the difficult task of putting our Akita down. The doctor and entire staff was compassionate and caring. Our dog went very peacefully. Thank you.

Came in with an emergency--unannounced, not even a call ahead--and they took great care of our cat. Dr. Snyder was everything we could have asked for in a vet. She called to let me know how my cat was during the day, called to follow up, gave me comprehensive information on what had happened and what we could do for prevention. I couldn't have asked for better. And, moreover, while she gave recommendations, I never felt that she was upselling. This is what will keep us at Coronado!

My 2 Guinea pigs were sick and within 24 hours got really bad. The staff and vet took time to see them. Unfortunately one of them passed on the way there. The vet was honest about the other ones healt...
My 2 Guinea pigs were sick and within 24 hours got really bad. The staff and vet took time to see them. Unfortunately one of them passed on the way there. The vet was honest about the other ones health. I really appreciate that. My Guinea pig unfortunately had be euthanized, but they gave me and my son the opportunity to say goodbye and walked us out the side, so we did not have to go thru the waiting room. It's the little things. Thank you for that.

My ferret has a swollen leg, possibly broken, made an appointment with "the exotic pet vet" come to find out they didn't even know I was brining a ferret!!! No one in the office knew how to handle a ferret. My 2 Guinea pigs were sick and within 24 hours got really bad. The staff and vet took time to see them. Unfortunately one of them passed on the way there. The vet was honest about the other ones health. I really appreciate that. My Guinea pig unfortunately had be euthanized, but they gave me and my son the opportunity to say goodbye and walked us out the side, so we did not have to go thru the waiting room. It's the little things. Thank you for that.
