Stringent policy guidelines to never refill a dog prescription without an office visit, leave my dog itching badly the day before I'm going on vacation. She will itch herself raw for a week and I will worry while I'm out of town. All I wanted was a quick refill for meds the dog has had consistently for years.Service has always been good here and I believe that they really care about animals, but this inflexibility has me quite upset. I dont know how this place has so many good reviews because I was not impressed. Brought my dog here to get groomed and vaccines, they were supposed to do them at the same time but about an hour after we pick him up I get a call saying they didnt give my dog his vaccinations. They had no explanation for me and wanted me to bring my 15 year old dog who was stressed from being groomed back to get his shots. Also I had already payed for the service. I went and got a refund, my dog will get his vaccines elsewhere. Never coming back, so unprofessional. Read Less

Dr. Kang and his staff are great. We've moved to Hawaii and can't take our Boston Terriers to his clinic anymore. But, if you live in the Costa Mesa area, I highly recommend Dr. Kang. He listens, is knowledgeable, tests appropriately, and recommends correctly the best course of action for your dog (pet).We used to visit Dr. Park when he ran/owned the clinic and were initially concerned when Dr. Kang took over. Anytime I need to go to a vet I will always come back here. Great staff and great prices! Compared to a different vet, we got 3 cats checked out for the price of one. Anyway we needed a place for walk ins today but our normal vet was down for two weeks due to technical issues. After calling 4 other vets in the area this was the first one that actually had walk in. After we got in the staff was super polite and nice. They definitely seemed to enjoy their jobs and we're happy to help us. The vet Dr.Kang was amazing! Very funny during the checkup and he seemed to truly love animals and his job. He was also very professional too. He along would be worth going back even if it was more expensive! Read Less

I love love love this vet. I cannot say enough great things about Dr. Kang. I have been searching a long time for a good vet. I found Fairview Pet Hospital on yelp and I am definitely not disappointed. Dr. Kang will be my vet for life. I came here when my maltese was really sick. She was in pain for a whole week and wasn't getting any better. I took her to Dr. Kang and told him her symptoms. Instead of charging me extra with additional x rays and lab results that we had done before with other vets. He listened to us and figured out what was going on with her. He figured out that she had back pain, gave her a shot and some meds to go home with, then told us how to treat her and within days, my dog was back to normal! It was amazing and I am so grateful that my dog was treated so quickly and she was back to normal again!!!!I had asked him if he accepted an insurance called Pet Assure at the time, which he had no knowledge about, but he took the time to do the research and sign up for it so we can get a discount on our vet services next time.Dr. Kang continued to check in on my dog Izzy to make sure she was doing well and told me the necessary steps to take care of her health. Dr. Kang also took the time to let me know next time, that we can use our Pet Assure card for a discount on the vet services with him. I am so grateful for his expertise and his kindness to really care about my dog and provided the best service possible. I can't imagine the cost of having my dog back to normal again. I have a little Sphynx kitten and he was having some issues with his urine and stool having blood in them so I brought him into the office and they immediately took him in and he throughly looked for pain and asked what he eats he said that it seems like too much magnesium so we switched his food and it's been better ever since.We brought him in another time because he jumped into the hamper and hurt his toe so the dr watched his walk and limp and then touched and said it doesn't look broken but just sore so he gave us a few options and he's better.So a few weeks ago we took him here to her neutered and they all love our baby. My dog really loves the whole staff at Dr. Glenn's so they must be treating him extra special because he does not trust most people and he does trust them.  Dr. Glenn has helped us through allergies, dog bites, and cancer at an early stage.
