Dr. G is one of the most kind and caring Vets I have ever encountered, and I'm really grateful to have him so close to where I live. Although the building/office is fairly old and not in the best condition, he has nearly 5 star rating because he is an outstanding vet and human being. Dr. G is incredibly informative and understanding about financial issues. He does NOT pressure you to buy services and understands that many pet owners are on a tight budget. In my experiences, he sums up what he believes the issue is and then provides a number of options for how to diagnose or treat the issue. What was most memorable about Dr. G was that he called me several days after seeing him to check in on my Dog and make sure he was doing well. That type of care will keep me as a patient for life.

A catering client of mine asked me in April 2016 if I could feed her 3 feral cats for 2 weeks. She told me that one has a growth on the outside of her mouth and intermittently bleeding. Not thinking too much about it, I agreed. I went there twice a day and every time I watched that little kitty her growth dripped blood. I had to wipe off blood from her food bowl and floor every day. She still ate and came very close to me but never close enough that I could catch her
I tried to find a vet who would help me. The LA Pet Clinic Hollywood receptionist told me she did not have an appointment and there are no openings until the end of the week. I explained to her the kitty could be dead by then, her answer: I cannot do anything about that, find another vet. Dr. John€s from John€s Animal Clinic in Santa Monica told me and his receptionist after she tried to explain to him what was going on: Why are you bothering me?
My neighbors recommended to me to go to Fox Hills Animal Clinic in Culver City. Dr. Wefki Girgis looked at the video I made of the kitty and said that looks bad, it has to be surgically removed. He explained to me how I should try to catch the kitty using a towel etc. I went back followed his instructions and 2 hours later I was back at the clinic with my now feral cat. Dr. Girgis did the operation, kitty who€s name now is Sugarplum stayed at the hospital for 10 days. The whole staff was cheering for her every day. May 16th after a 10 day hospital stay she went back to her sisters.
If you are looking for an animal Clinic that cares, I cannot recommend Dr. Wefki Girgis more.

I only trust Dr. Girgis when my animals need care.
I've been going to his location when Dr. Girgis started up there at least ten years ago. I've come to trust his medical judgement, common sense, direct honesty, limitless work ethic and empathetic capacity; to advise what is best for the animal's well being.
Together we've treated skin allergies, asthma, kidney damage, cancer, bites, eye problems, arthritis, foxtail removal and that's just what I can presently remember. I've brought him lifelong friends and new rescues, he's always been very respectful and professional and I like to think that we've become friends. He is direct and even handed and will tell you things you have to know and sometimes don't want to hear . . . like any good friend will.
Dr. Girgis is the only Veterinarian I can recommend to my friends.

Great Vet!! I have visited VERY often with my 2 cats! I have really had a truly wonderful experience here with both my animals, I have two Persians and they take such good care of them one is now 1 year old and recently was spayed (she recovered so well). I have visited on a regular basis and even seen many of their different vets. They all have given great advice and care to my animals. Very proud that this is the vet I can call on at any time of the day. I have gone in late at night, and they accommodate us.

Dr. G is one of the most kind and caring Vets I have ever encountered, and I'm really grateful to have him so close to where I live. Although the building/office is fairly old and not in the best condition, he has nearly 5 star rating because he is an outstanding vet and human being. Dr. G is incredibly informative and understanding about financial issues. He does NOT pressure you to buy services and understands that many pet owners are on a tight budget. I have really had a truly wonderful experience here with both my animals, I have two Persians and they take such good care of them one is now 1 year old and recently was spayed (she recovered so well).
