They are very professional. DR Jackson was very detailed and immediately made the correct diagnosis.

Brought my kitties there paid $120 for them too take their temp and tell me the weight, I thought i would get alot more for the amount i spent, i spent another $52 to get a fecal test they told me to bring a sample really fooled me they didnt find anything but my kitties are pooping blood? The vet had no clue its not normal to poop outside litter boxes. I couldnt afford to send both samples. Got a call telling me they found nothing in the sample thank god i didnt have enough to send both. Spent $172 for absolutly nothing. NEVER AGAIN very disappointed i expected alot more for all the money i spent!

I have been taking my pets to Del Mar Heights Veterinary Hospital for years. They are just so friendly and helpful. The front office staff gets to know the "parents" very well. They know me when I call and make me feel very welcomed. Emergencies are accommodated. The doctors are personable and thorough. I often see a friend in the waiting area - this practice was highly recommended to me by a close friend and is very well thought of in the Del Mar / Carmel Valley area.
The prices are consistent with the area - not inexpensive, for certain, but reasonable. The doctor and staff always show you the pricing up front. The prescription pricing is as good as online prices in most cases, and sometimes even better. The refill process is easy when the pet is up-to-date with visits and immunizations.
I hope to continue to take my pets here for many years to come. I highly recommend this veterinary group!

The facilities are very modern and always clean. The service is prompt and the prices fair. They even recommended a special cat food that cleans their teeth while they eat. I have been bringing my pets to DM Heights Veterinary Hospital for 17 years. Dr. Baer is a wonderful veterinarian and always explains things to me in language I understand. He is good with the cats, and takes excellent care of them. His care is proactive, but he doesn't recommend unnecessary procedures or treatments. They work with you to ensure your pet gets good care, but that you are also able to handle any follow up.
The staff is courteous and friendly. They always explain my options, and give estimates to me before hand. I'm very happy with this veterinary hospital.
