I cannot say enough about this AMAZING PLACE its staff and everything about it!!! Dr. Brown goes above and beyond to provide the best possible care and she is truely invested in not only her patients...
I cannot say enough about this AMAZING PLACE its staff and everything about it!!! Dr. Brown goes above and beyond to provide the best possible care and she is truely invested in not only her patients but their owners too! What other veterinarian will take the time out of their Hawaii Vacation to call you personally to discuss your pet when there is something wrong in Lab work (especially when she has multiple other veterinarians on staff whom could have done it for her!) and then once other tests are performed will review it and call you back to let you know what they found!!! I am so thankfulfor her and so are all the fur babies! My family has been using Dr. Brown for well over 28 years and there is NO way we will ever go anywhere else! This is THE BEST veterinarian in San Diego HAND DOWN!!!

This is an awesome animal hospital! It's very hard to find a good veterinarian for reptiles, but the staff did a outstanding job with my quince monitor. I will definitely be coming back here regularly...

During the years that I have know Dr. Rose brown all of my pets that I have had I've taken to her for there care that they needed never once did I have a bad feeling about the care they were getting and also staff very friendly and helpful! Just recently I lost my golden 12 years old to cancer, up till that time the whole staff and Dr. Brown was right there 4 me helping with meds, and keeping her comfortable as possible I recommend highly rancho animal hospital if u want good care for your pet!

I will never bring any of my animals here. We bring some of our fur kids here. I called for help yesterday for my dying ferret and the lady on the phone was rude and not sympathetic as I sobbed. As I rushed home to get my ferret i was told they were busy but I could pay extra to have my ferret monitored. Then once I got home and on the road i called ahead and I was told to go somewhere else. My ferret died yesterday not that they care. I lost a member of my family. The nurse called my boyfriend to ask if I still wanted to come in for the appointment 2 hours later but my ferret was already gone. The nurse still didn't have any compassion. I've never been so hurt in my entire life. The other hospitals I called around to apologized and sympathizes for not being able to help me and even stayed on the line with me until I reached the hospital where my baby eventually died. Horrible horrible customer service from this place. Get some nurses who actually have emotions and care!

By far, one of the BEST vets around. Dr. McNeil is so amazing, not only with animals but with people. All the Techs are always so great and helpful too! Our little Mocha has gone through a lot this year, and Dr. McNeil and staff have been there for us 100%. We appreciate everything you guys do for us!

First impression - Excellent! I called around several places this morning because my dog was not feeling well at all. Thankfully I found Rancho San Diego Animal Hospital, only a couple dollars more than some of the others I called, a couple miles away, and they had an opening. Plus, they had a coupon on their website. Clinic was super clean and nice. Customer service, bedside manner of staff and Dr. McNeil is wonderful. Knowledgeable, affordable. Presented with treatment plan and I was able to decline and accept what I wanted to stay within budget. I will be taking my furry babies there again!
