We have been coming to Green Valley Hospital for the last 25 years. It used to be a quaint old country vet hospital with Dr Bingham treating our dogs between checking in on the cows in labor in the back. Dr and Mrs Spellman took over about 20 years ago and spruced it up to the shipshape little clinic it is today. The doctor is very knowledgeable and more importantly calm and compassionate towards animals and their worried owners. We consider all the staff including Marni Spellman (the manager), Kim (Vet tech, dog trainer /whisperer) and Jackie (wonderful and caring vet tech) some of the best human beings we have met.

Just recently my puppy (12weeks) was not feeling well, the care that he received was great...reassurred a nervous puppy mommy and sent us home with lots of good information. Dr. Spellman always makes follow up calls, that is simply the best!

Always blown away at how inexpensive the bill is, never feel like I'm paying for unnecessary services. Never feel rushed, Dr Spellman will gladly answer all of your questions. Would never dream of going anywhere else for vet services.

I have been going to Green Valley Animal Hospital for my dogs care since 2006. Dr Spellman has been fantastic. I recently went in to get some heart worm medicine for my two dogs. Their annual check up was in October, but when I tried to schedule prior to boarding my dogs, they didn't have an appointment for me. Since I was boarding them at the PetSmart on Ironpoint, I had Banfield do the check up and give them the appropriate shots. I recently ran out of heartworm medicine but when I went in to get a refill, the receptionist told me they were overdue. I explained the situation to her and she told me to get the report from Banfield and then they could fill it. So I did just that, called over to Banfield and went to pick up a copy of both dogs clean bill of health and updated shot report. When I went to fill my prescription today, they refused to fill it saying that I needed to have the dogs looked at. That apparently I hadn't been there in over a year, which was not the case because both dogs had rattlesnake vaccinations in spring of last year.So, I wasted my time going to get the reports so they could update their system. It's a money scam pure and simple. I would have continued going to them for my dogs needs but I was pretty disgusted with the lack of customer service and the fact that even though both dogs are healthy and their heartworm tests were negative, I couldn't even buy the medicine.I guess 9 years of patronage didn't warrant any special consideration especially since they couldn't fit me in their schedule at the time I needed the services done.P Leavy

I've had two dogs that have been taken care of by Dr. Spellman. He is a fantastic vet and never does unnecessary procedures, is very affordable and explains everything. My corgi who has never been to another vet loves to go to the vet. So, how's that for a testimonial. He also has an assistant, Kim, who trains dogs. She will train you to train your dog. Great! I'll use her again with my next dog.

Went down the street to Lakeside and they were so nice and very friendly and agreed to hold her for a short time

Yelp would not let me give 0 stars so that's why there is one. Not how a business is run! Brought our kitty here back in Oct. 2011 that had to be put to rest. The experience left a lot to be desired, place was dirty, Dr. was a little cold. We were given the option to do a paw print memorial stone which we decided to do. We paid for it then & there. Fast forward to 7 months later, numerous phone calls to both Green Valley who kept referring us to the person doing the stone who I have never been able to get ahold of, and no stone. Finally had to go there in person to try to at least get our money back and were told that the owners were in Europe for 2 weeks and we'd have to wait until they got back to try to help us. So they took out money on the spot but it's taken us over 7 months to get the product we paid for or our money back??? New to the area and have already found another vet.

We have been coming to Green Valley Hospital for the last 25 years. It used to be a quaint old country vet hospital with Dr Bingham treating our dogs between checking in on the cows in labor in the back.
