If you choose to stay here or decide this as your vet, my sound advice; use caution and pay attention. I have only been bringing my dogs here for a year and a half, but I am fed up with every single appt which has been a wait of at least one hour and clerical issues one after another! Now mind you, Dr. Hodge is a wonderful GOOD vet and caring, but our time is also so valued and I cannot understand why a pre-scheduled appt takes so long...unless I hit it every time they had an emergency situation...maybe just bad luck? I will not get into the boring details of clerical mishaps..but I will tell about 2 of my experiences. Back in November, our new pup had to be to be de-wormed for his next round. My daughter brought him in for his puppy follow up - namely to get the de-worming pill and also brought in a stool sample to double check if there was anything else going on. They told us he had giardia so he needed meds for that... which was odd, because he did not have any symptoms of that; no diarrhea, no throw up, etc. It might have been a small strain of it, so we went ahead and gave him the meds. We had assumed they had given him the de-worm pill. Well...2 weeks goes by and still, white worms in his poo! oooo-ick! I called to ask why they had not gone away and they said he needed a another de-worm pill as he didn't have one since the first time we came in back in October. WHAT? I told them that is what he was suppose to have the previous appt in NOV - appx 2 wks ago! So, I go in the next day to pick it up and they charged me. They said if I have the follow up stool test to see if he was free of giardia, that would be free. Not happy. I then decided to change my vet and get his last series of shots at another Vet along with his neuter surgery. So upon the first appt w/ new vet, I had requested all records from Marketplace to give me and all they e-mailed me was what was due for his vaccinations, etc. On the same day, the day of our appt with the new vet, they called to request them and they refused to give them the records. NOT ok. Not good business!! It's too bad as I live so close to Marketplace, but my time and animal deserves more; so thus, I travel a bit further. Read Less
