The facilities are very up to date. The doctors are all very nice. I like they never push me for an upsell. Both of our dogs have had a surgery here. One had a minor dental surgery and the other had major knee surgery to correct luxating patella in both knees. The staff took great care of my dog and went above and beyond with the aftercare. They also have a groomer and boarding facility on the grounds. We've never boarded there but we have seen the groomer. She does good work but gets booked up really quick. Read Less

This is by far my favorite vet. They genuinely care about not only your pet, but you as a pet owner as well! They make you feel comfortable knowing that you're leaving your pet there and ease of mind. Cheryl is amazing and makes sure you keep updated and comfortable leaving your pet there! My Duke broke his leg and had surgery a few weeks ago and I was one worried fur mama. She made me feel a million times better and kept me updated. Dr Ibrahim did amazing on his surgery! I was referred to Franklin Ranch by a woman who had nothing but great things to say about this establishment. Unfortunately, I did not appreciate my first experience here.Because of this referral, I decided to go to Franklin Ranch when my Yorkie broke his dew claw. When I arrived at Franklin Ranch I was not sure what was wrong with my Yorkie's paw. I just knew that the dew claw broke and it was bleeding pretty bad. My poor dog was also in pain. Thankfully, Franklin Ranch was able to fit my dog in as a walk in so he was looked at after a short wait. The vet tech came out and got my dog to took him to the back. I was not asked to go back with him. I wasn't sure if that was normal but I would have liked to be with him. I also would've like to see what they did to him. After about 10 minutes, the same vet tech came out and explained that my dog broke his dew claw, but it broke in a weird spot. The vet tech did not explain for me to understand what that meant so I had to ask a lot of questions. He said they removed the dew claw and put a powder on his paw to stop the bleeding. He also said they need to prescribe him antibiotics, anti inflammatory medication and a cone for him to wear so he did not lick the wound. After my short talk with the vet tech he left and went back to the back. When he left I felt somewhat confused as to what they did to my dog and why they wanted to prescribe him medication. After about 5 minutes my dog was brought out to me, he seemed fine and happy. I didn't see any blood and he didn't seem to be in pain. The vet tech handed me my dog's new medication, this cone and he went on his way. The last thing I needed to do was pay. I had no idea how much anything was going to cost. I didn't know what I was buying or what I was charged for. I waited a few minutes before the ladies helped me at the front desk. They asked me my dog's name and had to find his record. She came to collect the payment and it was $150, I was pretty surprised! I received an itemized receipt and discovered what I paid for. $65 for a walk in exam, $22 for one medication, $46.50 for the second medication and $14 for the E-Collar. To be honest, I do not feel like the medication or the E-Collar was necessary for me to buy. Pulling out the claw and the powder to stop the bleeding seemed sufficient. Especially because I did not know what medication I was purchasing and why. Also, I was never asked if I wanted to purchase all of these things that we're charged. They we're just automatically added to my bill. My dog was totally fine after the nail was pulled out. He was not in pain and he was not bleeding, so I am very thankful for that. I just do not feel that the charges and medication we're necessary. I would've appreciated a better explanation of treatment and medication by the vet tech. I would've also appreciated a choice in what I wanted to purchase. I have yet to find an establishment that seems to care more for the animal rather then money. I do not feel that anyone truly cared about my dog. The visit was rushed, confusing and informal. Questions we're not asked and there was a lot that was not communicated. My visit was pricey especially because I have not used the medication or the E-Collar. I am not sure if I will be back to Franklin Ranch. I think I will keep searching for a vet I am truly happy with. My dog is doing great and is back to normal. Read Less

I used to use banfield but they missed a import diagnoses on my dog. Went to Franklin pet hospital and we were treated like one of the family. The vets are incredible. They get down on the floor to examine the dog. I will never take my animals anywhere else. Oh and by the way the groomer is out for a while but if you just need a bath and brush Heather is your girl!!! Read Less

This place is worst than a used car sales man. Went in for what I thought was my puppy's second round of shots and was charged for 2 additional items that was as the manager quote are in "the best interest of my puppy". Worst customer service in years. Go else where. Read Less

Let me start by saying I LOVE this place. Their staff and doctors are amazing. I have probably seen all their doctors at least once. I've been in for physical exams, same day call in visits, emergencies, difficult decision, you name it, and I've consulted with them. Their prices are very reasonable, I never walk away feeling like they're trying to gouge me. I can call and the same day, someone will address my questions. My pets and I are known on a first name basis, I've been a loyal patient (well, not me but obviously my pets) since they opened. With that said, recently, I experienced some not so typical interaction with the staff:Blood work sent in wrong vial, requiring secondary draw (happened twice in one week)Asked to bring back my pet when I clearly stated the pet was at their hotel (makes you think if the person I spoke to was even listening to me)Called and spoke to 3 different people about labs hours and received 3 unsure answers (the lab is either open or not; seems simple enough)Lastly, and quite frankly the most irritating. I called and spoke to one of the regular gals up front, Courtney. I asked her about pricing on a specific lab test, she gave me the price and it was about a dollar off from the last time I got these test done on my dogs. It hasn't been years, this is a test that I run on my females in heat. I came in for the test, and when it was time to pay, a different price was listed, about $70 more, pretty big discrepancy. I contested the charge knowing I was given a lower price over the phone just the prior day. the test requires you to come every other day, this time when I asked about the charge the office manager , Cheryl told me that the charge was $172 and basically they did me a favor last time and that moving forward I would have to pay this higher price . She even went on to state that they changed labs and that the prices went up in August of 2016. The test we ran were in January of 2017. Made zero sense to me so I had to go to my original source of price and ask for clarification. Long story short, I didn't appreciate the attitude about pricing, I've been faithful, paying customer and for someone to tell me they are doing me a favor is just simply asinine. She's probably a nice person but definitely she changed the dynamics in that place.I still encourage you to take you pets there; they will love and cares for them like their own BUT beware when Cheryl is quoting you prices. Ask for Stacy or Courtney, they have never done me wrong and have been amazing to work with over the years!! Been coming here five years with two Siamese cats. The vets are compassionate, kind, and expert. The facility is spacious and there is plenty of room for cats and dogs to be together in the waiting room. Service is quick. Once a year they give a discount on dental work. Read Less

Some of the staff has been very rude! Our dog has a lot of allergies and every time we would take her in for a treatment. The prices kept going up and up! And it seamed nothing was working, we got fed up with them and tried a diffrent vet! The 1st treatment worked the new vet put her on a maintenance pill. Ever thing is good. So one day we were talking to one of the people working at franklin ranch and she told us that they could have treated our dog like the other vet! But thats how they make extra money she said. Always professional, friendly, CLEAN, and honest. I appreciate the care and concern of everyone there. Mostly I see Dr Strasser who I met during an emergency with one of our working K9s. The immediate care and concern was evident. He was calm and implemented a plan which really helped the dog. That dog is now 12 and running around happy as ever. I brought my 12 year old maltese in to have a cyst removed. The staff was very professional. Dr. Jordan treated my dog with love and respect. I had several vets recommend that I put my 5 week old kitten to sleep if I could not afford the recommended abdominal rebuild ($8000) immediately. I brought him here and he has been getting the best care. After a few months of check ups and proper care (he was feral prior to my getting him) he had for the most part out grown his issues and needed only a minimal surgery costing only a small fraction of what I was told was necessary. My baby will live a long healthy life thanks to them. They truly care more about the welfare of your animals than billing you for a procedure you may not need. Read Less

Posting not out of anger but concern for others pets I took my rabbit in to get fixed. He gets sick without his food. Three people including the vet were told that he needs it after surgery. I picked him up after the surgery to find his food untouched, and him sick off of the food they gave him instead. This wouldn't be too terrible if there wasn't a urine stain on the top of his carrier. He's very small and physically couldn't have done it himself. Plus it was clearly sprayed from the outside as the other side was clean. It stunk up the whole car whereas my rabbit is scentless when he "goes". This is where it gets real bad I dropped my rabbit at home and immediately went back to ask what happened to the carrier and his food. An assistant came out and I told him what happened. He confirmed it was pee but suggested it was the rabbits, then immediately went and cleaned it. He later took me to see the vet who didn't know how it happened or what gender my rabbit was despite having just removed his man parts. I went home as they weren't going to do much, I just wanted to know if my pet had been peed on as he has an open wound. Sure enough I examined him and found "spray" on his back and shoulders. His eyes were also irritated from trying to clean himself. I called them asking for refund of the first time patient fee. Not the surgery, just the new patient fee as I didn't want to go back there and I have to now go pay another fee at another vets. They said they have to watch the video footage before they can do anything. Oh and they said the irritation might be from the eye drops they gave him, not the urine. I thought eye drops were supposed to help irritation, I guess not.Read Less

I've been going here for years, matter of fact, since the first week they opened . The doctors are amazing and so are the staff. I can't say enough about the care my pets receive here. They know me and my dogs by first name. My bulldogs and chihuahua have received exceptional care . We had surgeries here, breedings, boarding, well visits, vaccines and quite frankly "paranoid pet owner" visits too . They always give us their full attention and provide expertise during difficult situations . There is no other place I trust my precious dogs to go to. I took my dog there for a second opinion for her adrenal gland and bladder cancer. They were so warm and explained everything. I was at another Vet clinic across town, I won't say their name, and I spent around $2,300 for tests and not once did they ever go over pet care options with me. Dr. McKinstry was warm and tried to give us options and really did not charge us hardly anything for their services. I will be taking both of my dogs there in the future. Our dogs have been to Frankling ranch for vet care, boarding, and to the groomers who are on location (Canine Clippers). All of them deserve five stars! Our dogs run up to the staff each time they come in for boarding and love the attention they obviously receive. They are happy, and never too anxious to leave. We love that we can leave them and never worry or feel bad, because the boys obviously feel they are having a vacation too. We do pay for extra play sessions daily, and that prob. helps. The veterinary care is also superb, and we love the vets and techs. Read Less
