Grantline Veterinary Hospital is a great place to take your pet when your pet needs care. Dr. Leonard and all his staff have been kind and caring to us and our Cat, OBE. OBE stayed with them on a number of occasions and the staff took wonderful care of him. He recently had to be put to sleep. Hands down, one of the best vet hospitals I've had the pleasure of working with. From the beginning the staff is friendly, and eager to take care of your loved one. They even take extra care when they notice your pet is stressed. I took my dog in a couple of times as he was sick or had other issues. Normally once they give you meds, and instructions, they send you home, and say callback as needed. No... Instead, they called me every other day to check on me and my dog, make sure his medication was working. The calls didn't stop till I asked, or until they knew the medication was complete. My cat had a rather icky wound and my regular vet wasn't open. After calling around, Grantline was the only vet kind enough to work us. I'm glad they did! I liked my regular vet, but Grantline is outstanding. The kindness of the staff is wonderful. My cat, Larkin, received exceptional care. I originally took my dog Tadashi over to get an exam, before he could be boarded by their facility due to a weekend trip. The staff from my first experience was very friendly and professional, and explained everything to me, and even offered up an estimated bill, so you know exactly what to expect with no hidden surprises. They ensured that Tadashi got all the medical care he needed to be fully updated and healthy. A week later I took him there to stay for the weekend, and the staff was super nice about calling me and giving me status updates on Tadashi and how well he was doing. Turned out he was a bit stressed when there, and they provided him some medication, and they kept me updated on every step. Even when I brought him home, they went above and beyond to call me on several occasions to check on Tadashi and ensure he was doing well. I never expected a facility to ever do this. They've gone above and beyond to show they care about their clients and our companions. I cannot say enough of the excellent treatment my 15 month English Bull Dog Tank receives from Dr. Leonard and his staff.  Tank has had several procedures done by Dr. Leonard, (cherry eye correction and neutering.)  He has treated Tank for minor bronchial issues and recently placed him on an appropriate diet and supplement plan to help reduce his weight and strengthen his limbs.  Tank loves going there.  He knows the office and immediately runs to the door to go see the front desk staff and get treats.  When he sees Dr. Leonard he immediately runs to him and Dr. Leonard is loving and caring towards him while he takes time to play with him a bit.  Dr. Leonard is very direct.  He does not "sugar coat" anything and will "tell it like it is", but with sensitivity and great concern.  He is extremely knowledgeable and genuinely cares about your pet.  Depending on what is needed, I can say that the treatments are not cheap; However, the fact that my Tank is truly loved there and I can see that Dr. Leonard cares about his health makes the cost more easy to accept.  Dr. Leonard and the staff will provide you with an itemized list of costs before anything is done.  I have found that extremely valuable because it allows you to ask questions and also provides you with some time to figure out financially if this is something you can do at the moment. If your budget does not allow for everything that is recommended, don't be afraid or embarrassed to say that you cannot afford everything.  They will work at prioritizing what is "immediately needed" versus what would be beneficial.  This way you can make an informed decision that fits your budget and takes care of your pets immediate needs. Since Bulldogs are known to be costly to maintain, I have also invested in Pet Insurance.  Dr. Leonard's staff promptly submit claims to the insurance company in my behalf which takes the pressure off me and  helps expedite the process of receiving payment which I appreciate very much.  There are many vets in my area that are closer and perhaps even cheaper, however, I will drive to Grantline because I feel Dr. Leonard knows Tank and truly has established a relationship with him and with my husband and I.  I know the treatment he receives is top-notch which hopefully will extend my Tank's life to the max and allow him to enjoy every minute of it. VERY UNTRUSTFUL PLACE!! Would never want a pet to suffer by going there. Staff is very rude and uncaring. They do not care at all about the animals they just care about how much money they can get!! And they cant figure out the actual problem that your pet is having! What type of vet is that!! They did not know what was going on with my pet. They actually told me that. They just said dont let your animal walk for a few days. My animal had a swallon paw. I did research and figured it out myself and because of that i would never ever trust that place with an human animals life. They cant get their job done correctly!Read Less

We brought our dog in to Grantline Veterinary Hospital knowing that he was going to need surgeries on his legs. Our dog ended up needing two ACL surgeries, which Dr. Leonard and his team performed. Our first experience with Dr Leonard and the staff at Grantline unfortunately was to have our cat euthanized. We knew it was time and our other big name vet clinic was not very sensitive and wanted a lot of $. We got in the same day, Dr Leonard himself called us back, and he did a beautiful job of explaining to our very sad 7 year old what was happening and why. He was sensitive, kind, and he and the vet tech were in tears along with us as our baby crossed the Rainbow Bridge. I cannot say enough good things about how kind they were. Dr Leonard is a very knowledgeable vet and is dedicated to helping your pet.Thankfully I took my dog Sadie into to see DR Leonard in time. My dog was sick during Christmas. Dr Leonard ran a few tests and said she is a very sick dog and needed to stay on an IV overnight. Well she was very sick and spent 6 days and 5 nights in very good hands. I feel blessed to have gotten her there when I did or my little best friend may have died from pancreasitits and kidney failure.  She is 8 years old and we look forward to another 8 wonderful years with her.I love Dr Leonard and his staff. They all care very deeply about the pet and it's best interest for overall health and in a crisis he really came thru. I was referred to Grantline by some friends who have gone there for a long time, but after a few visits I'd reached the conclusion that Dr. Leonard will judge you based on how much it looks like you can afford and I must have looked poor because I was treated poorly by him. I can't say anything bad about the staff, all the front desk girls were always helpful and nice. I reached my breaking point with Grantline Vet, when after my dog had surgery I was told by the staff that Dr. Leonard would be available all weekend for after hours care should the need arise. Well, my girl got sick on Sunday and when I called Grantline Vet the girl who answered said that the doctor had requested all emergencies be forwarded to VCA on Bradshaw. They transferred me to VCA, who couldn't take care of me without having me come in and charging for a complete inspection and even then since they didn't do the surgery the girl doubted there was anything she could do. After being treated like I was an idiot by Grantline Vet, I refused to go back. My boyfriend finished out the after surgery care and we have never stepped foot in here again. I know that Dr. Leonard has a good reputation with some people in the area, unfortunately with me, he didn't live up to it at all. Read Less
