Need an emergency visit for my dog with a likely UTI. Called and they told me that next appointment was Monday (4 days from now) but I can come and do a drop in visit. The receptionist told me at least 4 times that the fee was $99 but didn't care to mention a single time that the hours for drop in are 2pm to 4pm. Thirty minutes later, after getting dog ready and the drive, I get there and same girl tells me the news that I have to come back later. But she was dumb enough to add the comment, "but you'll still get seen today". Not the brightest bunch but I'm stuck with them for this infection then off to find a place that doesn't staff NPC's.

Dr. Chang is wonderful and caring. In addition to providing outstanding care, she gave me excellent advice on training and pet insurance. When my last dog passed away (as all dogs do) she sent me a moving letter which I treasure. I recommend them highly.

Tina Chang is the worst, most uncaring, disgusting excuse of a vet my family has ever encountered. She has no heart and misdiagnosed our pet (if she ever actually looked at the X-Rays at all). Twice. We went to a far better vet (though further). STAY AWAY FROM THIS CLINIC AND CHANG. They DO NOT CARE about YOU or YOUR PET. She makes $$ on testing your animals... doesn't care for the welfare of your pet. SAVE PETS LIVES AND GO OUT OF BUSINESS CHANG!

I can't imagine a more caring vet clinic anywhere. I originally went to Dr. Chang to get a 2nd opinion when it was suggested that I put my dog down. Not only did she not agree with the other vets but she made it possible for Zoe to spend another 5 full and very happy years with me. Dr. Chang is very thorough and leaves nothing untested before she makes a diagnosis. Her pragmatic approach is very refreshing. If you care about the health of your pets, this is the only vet to visit.

My dog had an engorged tick; Dr. Linda Knox was quite helpful. From the below reviews it seems that her colleague, Dr. Chang, is somewhat incompetent. But Dr. Knox was extremely helpful, sensitive to expenses, etc. She didn't do anything without my approval, and she explained all of my options in full detail. She's quite nice. And the fees were quite reasonable. $60 for full bloodwork.
I've moved from the area, but I'd feel quite comfortable taking my dog to the Animal Clinic of Encino-- Assuming Dr. Knox is in, anyway.

As an owner of K9s Only and founder of New Leash On Life, I've seen many MANY vets in the last 10 years. I've also fired many, many vets. I had just about given up hope that there was a decent vet out...
As an owner of K9s Only and founder of New Leash On Life, I've seen many MANY vets in the last 10 years. I've also fired many, many vets. I had just about given up hope that there was a decent vet out there when I came across Dr. Chang and her caring staff at the Animal Clinic of Encino. She's the type of vet who gets down on the floor with your pet, snuggles and talks to them. She truly cares about your animals and is extremely smart. I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Chang. You will not be disappointed.

Tina Chang and her incompetent staff is absolutely the worst place you could take any pet you care about. My little girl contracted parvo at this vet and when I brought her in for treatment, Chang ran tests without my approval and knowledge and then was trying to charge me over $1000 for them. She sent my dog home with parvo and said she would be fine. NEVER told me to take her to an emergency care vet. She claimed she did not want to see her back so she did not "infect and annoy" her other pets. I spent over $4000 dollars on both my labs here for tests and medicines they NEVER needed. PLEASE STAY AWAY IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR PETS!

Tina Chang is an excellent Vet and I would recommend her to anyone who loves their pets as I do. I appreciate her bluntness and good humor. She is progressive and keeps up with current practice.

My husband and I recently moved to the Valley area and needed a vet quickly for our 10 year old lab who was having some medical problems. After some research, we set up a last minute app't for our dog and was delighted to meet Dr. Chang. She is very thorough and very knowledgeable. She is patient with the animal as well as the pet owners explaining to you what may be wrong and she'll answer all your questions. We have been to many vets and Dr. Chang is by far one of the best.

Need an emergency visit for my dog with a likely UTI. Called and they told me that next appointment was Monday (4 days from now) but I can come and do a drop in visit. The receptionist told me at least 4 times that the fee was $99 but didn't care to mention a single time that the hours for drop in are 2pm to 4pm. I can't imagine a more caring vet clinic anywhere. I originally went to Dr. Chang to get a 2nd opinion when it was suggested that I put my dog down. Not only did she not agree with the other vets but she made it possible for Zoe to spend another 5 full and very happy years with me. Dr. Chang is very thorough and leaves nothing untested before she makes a diagnosis. Her pragmatic approach is very refreshing. If you care about the health of your pets, this is the only vet to visit.

I had just about given up hope that there was a decent vet out there when I came across Dr. Chang and her caring staff at the Animal Clinic of Encino. My husband and I recently moved to the Valley area and needed a vet quickly for our 10 year old lab who was having some medical problems. After some research, we set up a last minute app't for our dog and was delighted to meet Dr. Chang. She is very thorough and very knowledgeable.
