The staff at this facility were wonderful, caring and extremely helpful. I was a walk-in with a sick found/foster dog. They took us right in checked the dog worked with what I had to pay to start treatment. Recommended other options for what I couldn't afford. Read Less

While visiting family in Fairfield our lab got sick. We were able to get right in and have our dog taken care of. The entire staff was very considerate of our anxious dog who had a difficult life before we adopted her. They followed up to answer our questions and she has recovered fully! The doctors and staff at this hospital are incredibly caring and compassionate.  They are very accommodating in terms of scheduling, and the place is always immaculate. This is the one veterinary hospital in the area that I would trust to bring my beloved pets for health emergencies.  They are quick to diagnose, reasonable in their pricing and have a great staff. I had previously brought my oldest dog Chili here for a host of issues, from asthma complications to the identification of a ruptured spleen.  A few weeks ago, our oldest dog became extremely ill. He ultimately passed away, but we take comfort in knowing that he was well-cared for by a loving staff during his final days and throughout his 16 years with us.  In particular, we want to thank Dr. Cole for caring for Chili and for calling to comfort  my mother during this difficult time. After ultimately referring Chili to a specialty hospital, Dr. Cole stayed in contact with us throughout the process and even sent documents to the transferring facility as late as 10 PM. We are so thankful to have found this place when we did and would not hesitate to bring our other pets here. Read Less

The staff and Doctors at this animal hospital are simply amazing! This review is long overdue...Dr.'S Woodall, Stambaugh, Wolfe and Cole provide our three girls with the absolute best care, and the staff is equally as caring and thorough. Dr. Woodall recently saved our puppy's life by using ultrasound technology that the local emergency facility didn't utilize on previous visits. Had she not suggested ultra sound, Grace wouldn't be with us today. After finding the issue- She, Dr. Stambaugh and several techs stayed after hours to perform emergency surgery and save our little one's life. Dr. Wolfe also recently helped us resolve a kennel cough issue with our oldest girl, and was just wonderful! Can't say enough about this team. This is the best animal hospital in fairfield they literally saved my german shepard. my dog got an infection in her ovaries and she had got septesimia a cople of day more she would have died. she had surgey on Wednesday amd she was out and about friday. now she is fully recover amd doing great thank to this hospital. These guys are great!! After a year at Banfield, we definitely needed something closer to home and German Shepherd friendly. I looked at vets ALL OVER Fairfield and meticulously checked every review.. these guys are #1 in my book! My GSD hates the vet with a passion (It all started when she was a puppy and forcefully held down by a male vet tech at Banfield). She now hates male vets and vet techs.. this place has all female staff and most own/like GSDs! Two pluses in my book and my dogs! She's been in for routine checkup/shots and other stuff. All times they have been very professional and take it slow with her. They seem to really want to make it a positive experience for both of us. They also have been very low pressure and let you think about the different options/cost before moving forward. I highly recommend these guys for your dog/cat/critter needs! Read Less

I've been to Animal Hospital in Fairfield several times in the last few years (since their change of ownership), and they have always been prompt and professional. Most of my appointments have been last minute as my beagle will eat literally anything, and I've never had a problem getting an appointment. I've seen both Dr. Cole and Dr. Wolfe, and they have been fantastic. I've never left with any questions or concerns unanswered or unaddressed. This place is the best vet clinic in the local area. After much research about veterinarians and puppy packages for our newborn husky Nollie, we would accept nothing but the best care for her. It has been nothing but stellar customer service from the minute we come strolling in to the second we leave. I was highly impressed with the level of professionalism from the staff with my multiple questions about our puppies care. Dr. Wolf was amazingly sympathetic as we thought our puppy was blind in her left eye but come to find out huskies blue eyes come with difficulties. Plus the clinic calls and checks on your pet after their visit to answer any questions that might arise. Was a much better Vet Clinic when Dr Cooper was there. We made a appointment as one of our cats was very old and in very bad health and were looking to do what was best for him and have him put down. We had a 10:30 appointment for them to check quality of life even though there was no quality he could not get up and down from the bed, wasn't eating or drinking and couldnt control his bowels or bladder which in his 18 years he never had a problem with before. They left us waiting in the waiting room 30 minutes past our appointment and then another 30 minutes in the room. There was not so much as a Im sorry, kiss my butt nothing other then a here is your bill for $200. Fairfield vets are horrible and this is the icing on the cake. It is worth the hour drive to the VCA Hospital in Sacramento.Read Less

I will definitely recommend the doctor and clinic/hospital to anyone I know. I have had good and not so good experiences with vets over the years, and this one was very good. My daughter took her cat to them, and later once I saw how well they did, I took my dog. The doctor came out to speak to me directly after procedure, he and his staff eased my concerns they treated me and my animal with respect and with what I felt was a true love of animals.
