I am absolutely blown away by the quality level of the care I received with my 4-year-old pit/lab mix today.
Chance has had seizures for about 9 months now, and based on my research, I’ve concluded that it’s epilepsy. I had been giving him CBD oil, which was helping tremendously. I was hesitant to take him to any vet in fear that I would be forced to spend thousands of dollars on MRI/CT for nothing. After Chance had his first set of cluster seizures(2 or more back to back within 24 hours), it was the worst I’d ever seen and I became very concerned. I came to the conclusion that I had to take him in. After doing my research, I found Dr. Stamm and I’m so glad I did.
Dr. Stamm came up with a very logical explanation as to what could be contributing to his seizures. She recommended blood work along with holistic medicine, diet changes, fish oil supplements and some emergency medication per my request just in case he has another set of cluster seizures that need to be stopped.
I am beyond confident with the recommendations and confirmations I received today and will only be taking my dogs to Dr. Stamm from now on! I’m so happy to have found such a great Doctor for my fur babies! Thank you, Dr. Stamm!

I recently became a client due to the fact that my dog struggles with Seizures. I was referred to Angie because her clinic is the only clinic in the Sacramento area that sells Canna-pet (CBD for Dogs). My first appointment with her a couple months ago went great! I didn't feel rushed at all. She explained different options that we could try to help my dog's situation and she even gave me lists of things that she recommended, super helpful. I was very pleased! The next situation that just happened yesterday is the reason why EVERYONE should take their pet to her. I realized a little too late that my dog ran out of the Canna-pet pills. It was Friday night and I knew that they were closed on the weekend, including Monday. I scrambled around trying to figure out how I was going to get the pills for my dog because I didn't want him to have any seizures without them. I decided to email them because I didn't know of any other option. Getting it online would take a few days and I couldn't wait that long.I woke up the next morning to an email from Angie stating that they are closed on Saturdays, but she would leave a bottle of Canna-pet for me outside the office and bill me the next business day. I was beyond appreciative!! That shows me that she truly does care about my dog and is willing to go out of her way to accommodate mine and his needs, even when they're closed for business! I don't know how else to thank her other than doing everything I can to give her good reviews and tell everyone how amazing she is! Take your pet to Meridian Vet Care. They're absolutely amazing!!!!!

I've only been to the initial consultation with Meridian, but the experience was amazing. We wanted to switch our vet because the other place (which I won't name) consistently made us wait 30 minutes or more for care even with an appointment. Upon entering the Meridian office one is greeted with a calming aromatherapy scent and immaculately clean greeting area, and friendly staff. The vet office is warm and comfortable, not cold and sterile. And the vet was great- thorough without getting down into the weeds about care. They made all the right recommendations (raw food if you can- the correct protein for our dog- etc) but didn't pressure us to do anything. I love Meridian and we will be back.

Dr. Stamm is THE BEST VET ever! I can't say enough. She treats the entire animal and gets to the underlying issue. She saved my dog from having reoccurring ear infections and chewing her paws due to allergies. She REALLY cares about you and your pet. My dog has super high anxiety and she was able to deal with her gently and effectively. To me she is a problem solver and a holistic guru for animals. I highly recommend her!!!! We have been seeing Dr. Stamm (and now her wonderful team) since 2010 when I moved back to Sacramento from Georgia. Wouldn't switch her ever!

Being that I was pregnant at the time, I couldn't tell you when I started to bring my cat here, but from the very beginning, everyone was amazing. My cat had been diagnosed with a very aggressive cancer in September, and being that she was already in her teens, I chose supportive care in leue of chemo. Dr. Stamm was very attentive, answered all my questions and did her best to help. When it came time to let her go, Dr. Stamm let me bring her in at the end of their day when they were closing, just so I could spend the day with my girl beforehand. Wonderful Dr. and amazing staff. I will forever be grateful for everything they did for me and my girl. Highly recommended office!

If i could give dr. Stamm and her staff more stars i would...she is the most personal, caring, and informative vet i have ever came in contact with. She was my senior dog's vet for the last years of his life, she is what made us make her our family vet, he was about 12 when he went in he had Hyperthyroidism and cushings disease, the affordable vet care and donation of pain pills made the last few years of his life enjoyable, unfortunately we had to put him to rest and dr. Stamm and jean the vet tech were very comforting, seeing we had him since he was a puppy, they let us take our time saying our goodbyes and even after he passed. Our senior cat had an abcessed tooth, they gave her fluids and antibiotics before her surgery, dr stamm. And her staff did an amazing job and even called us that night to see how she was doing. Our other senior dog, and our two others also visit the office for their checkups and soon to be dentals, they are just a awesome one room cozy, and affordable vet office that i will always reccomend to anyone in need of vet care.

During 3 calls, I was never able to communicate my wishes to her. During the last call, I tried a dozen times to say the same sentence only to be ignore and interrupted with a long list if unrelated and irrelevant procedures and fees. I will try to call once more, because I have heard good things about the doctor and I really love my dogs. Hopefully, I can reach another employee, one who cares what I have to say and isn't driven to railroading me. I'll update my review with the results.

My dog had just had knee surgery the month before we took him to see Dr. Staam. His knee had gone out again and the other vet that we took him to wanted to do a repeat surgery. I was hesitant to do this because the surgery was so hard on him. After 3 treatments with Dr Staam and a complete change in his diet, by her recommendation, our dog was like a puppy again. We have referred several of our friends to Dr. Staam and they are all as equally pleased with the results as we were.

Dr. Stamm has been caring for our dog since we moved to Sacramento 3 years ago. She is responsive and professional, and her staff is great. The vet is a very nerve-wracking place for our pup and they try to make it as easy as possible for her.We feel that our dear pup is well cared for and her medical needs are attended to appropriately. The anesthesia-free dental cleanings and exams are also a wonderful service, and done in a calming and appropriate manner.We would recommend Dr. Stamm and her staff to anyone who is looking for a kind, thoughtful vet for the furry or feathered member of their family.

My vet recommended Dr. Stamm for my dogs oral surgery since she doesn't perform surgeries herself. Though it's two hours from where I live I chose her for her far more reasonable prices than another local recommended vet. I'm so glad I did. Everyone in the office is extremely friendly and kind and love animals. It's obvious. Dr. Stamm does a wonderful job explaining the process before and after surgery. We have been blessed because both times my dog needed surgery he was with a place that believes in dogs waking up in the vet techs arms. And I was waiting in the car in the parking lot with my other dog and an office asst or vet tech came out to invite me to come in and hold my dog if I wanted. I did! Put my other dog in the enclosed stroller and held my dog in my lap for the next half hour or so, then he was alert enough to leave. The vet reminded me that she was going to deduct the price of bloodwork so when the tech was ringing me up I reminded her so she had to fix it but she was totally nice about it. The vet popped by again and talked about asking my regular vet about liver cleanse so I asked her if she had what she was recommending and she had one bottle left so they had to adjust my bill a third time. Everyone was so nice and patient and the vet tech seemed like she would talk about my dogs teeth and recovery for another hour! She was so cute. But I needed to get on the road and try to beat traffic. I had been dreading this day but it was actually a nice day! I cannot stress enough how a fantastic vet and vet tech AND office staff can make or break your experience. Surgery on your beloved pet is very stressful! But I said my prayers, gave it to God, and after meeting everyone I really had no worries. All I had to do was wait. It took an hour less time than I had expected so that was nice. My day would not have been so carefree if these people weren't so amazing and friendly. Hallelujah! :)

Dr. Stamm and her team have done wonders for my senior German Shepherd. He developed hip and back problems at a relatively early age and I did not want to shorten his life, or quality of life, by using drugs to ease his pain. Now he runs and plays just as he did when he was younger, and he is no longer depressed. He comes in for regular holistic therapies, and the team at Meridian are always in good spirits and helpful. I have confidence that my dogs and cats are receiving care that will benefit them for the rest of their lives. Thanks Meridian!

I am absolutely blown away by the quality level of the care I received with my 4-year-old pit/lab mix today.
Chance has had seizures for about 9 months now, and based on my research, I’ve concluded that it’s epilepsy. I had been giving him CBD oil, which was helping tremendously. I was hesitant to take him to any vet in fear that I would be forced to spend thousands of dollars on MRI/CT for nothing. After Chance had his first set of cluster seizures(2 or more back to back within 24 hours), it was the worst I’d ever seen and I became very concerned. I came to the conclusion that I had to take him in. After doing my research, I found Dr. Stamm and I’m so glad I did.
Dr. Stamm came up with a very logical explanation as to what could be contributing to his seizures. She recommended blood work along with holistic medicine, diet changes, fish oil supplements and some emergency medication per my request just in case he has another set of cluster seizures that need to be stopped.
I am beyond confident with the recommendations and confirmations I received today and will only be taking my dogs to Dr. Stamm from now on! I’m so happy to have found such a great Doctor for my fur babies! Thank you, Dr. Stamm!

I recently became a client due to the fact that my dog struggles with Seizures. I was referred to Angie because her clinic is the only clinic in the Sacramento area that sells Canna-pet (CBD for Dogs). My first appointment with her a couple months ago went great! I didn't feel rushed at all. She explained different options that we could try to help my dog's situation and she even gave me lists of things that she recommended, super helpful. I was very pleased! The next situation that just happened yesterday is the reason why EVERYONE should take their pet to her. I realized a little too late that my dog ran out of the Canna-pet pills. It was Friday night and I knew that they were closed on the weekend, including Monday. I scrambled around trying to figure out how I was going to get the pills for my dog because I didn't want him to have any seizures without them. I decided to email them because I didn't know of any other option. Getting it online would take a few days and I couldn't wait that long.I woke up the next morning to an email from Angie stating that they are closed on Saturdays, but she would leave a bottle of Canna-pet for me outside the office and bill me the next business day. I was beyond appreciative!! That shows me that she truly does care about my dog and is willing to go out of her way to accommodate mine and his needs, even when they're closed for business! I don't know how else to thank her other than doing everything I can to give her good reviews and tell everyone how amazing she is! Take your pet to Meridian Vet Care. They're absolutely amazing!!!!!

I've only been to the initial consultation with Meridian, but the experience was amazing. We wanted to switch our vet because the other place (which I won't name) consistently made us wait 30 minutes or more for care even with an appointment. Upon entering the Meridian office one is greeted with a calming aromatherapy scent and immaculately clean greeting area, and friendly staff. The vet office is warm and comfortable, not cold and sterile. And the vet was great- thorough without getting down into the weeds about care. They made all the right recommendations (raw food if you can- the correct protein for our dog- etc) but didn't pressure us to do anything. I love Meridian and we will be back.

Dr. Stamm is THE BEST VET ever! I can't say enough. She treats the entire animal and gets to the underlying issue. She saved my dog from having reoccurring ear infections and chewing her paws due to allergies. She REALLY cares about you and your pet. My dog has super high anxiety and she was able to deal with her gently and effectively. To me she is a problem solver and a holistic guru for animals. I highly recommend her!!!! We have been seeing Dr. Stamm (and now her wonderful team) since 2010 when I moved back to Sacramento from Georgia. Wouldn't switch her ever!

Being that I was pregnant at the time, I couldn't tell you when I started to bring my cat here, but from the very beginning, everyone was amazing. My cat had been diagnosed with a very aggressive cancer in September, and being that she was already in her teens, I chose supportive care in leue of chemo. Dr. Stamm was very attentive, answered all my questions and did her best to help. When it came time to let her go, Dr. Stamm let me bring her in at the end of their day when they were closing, just so I could spend the day with my girl beforehand. Wonderful Dr. and amazing staff. I will forever be grateful for everything they did for me and my girl. Highly recommended office!

If i could give dr. Stamm and her staff more stars i would...she is the most personal, caring, and informative vet i have ever came in contact with. She was my senior dog's vet for the last years of his life, she is what made us make her our family vet, he was about 12 when he went in he had Hyperthyroidism and cushings disease, the affordable vet care and donation of pain pills made the last few years of his life enjoyable, unfortunately we had to put him to rest and dr. Stamm and jean the vet tech were very comforting, seeing we had him since he was a puppy, they let us take our time saying our goodbyes and even after he passed. Our senior cat had an abcessed tooth, they gave her fluids and antibiotics before her surgery, dr stamm. And her staff did an amazing job and even called us that night to see how she was doing. Our other senior dog, and our two others also visit the office for their checkups and soon to be dentals, they are just a awesome one room cozy, and affordable vet office that i will always reccomend to anyone in need of vet care.

During 3 calls, I was never able to communicate my wishes to her. During the last call, I tried a dozen times to say the same sentence only to be ignore and interrupted with a long list if unrelated and irrelevant procedures and fees. I will try to call once more, because I have heard good things about the doctor and I really love my dogs. Hopefully, I can reach another employee, one who cares what I have to say and isn't driven to railroading me. I'll update my review with the results.

My dog had just had knee surgery the month before we took him to see Dr. Staam. His knee had gone out again and the other vet that we took him to wanted to do a repeat surgery. I was hesitant to do this because the surgery was so hard on him. After 3 treatments with Dr Staam and a complete change in his diet, by her recommendation, our dog was like a puppy again. We have referred several of our friends to Dr. Staam and they are all as equally pleased with the results as we were.

The vet is a very nerve-wracking place for our pup and they try to make it as easy as possible for her.We feel that our dear pup is well cared for and her medical needs are attended to appropriately. My vet recommended Dr. Stamm for my dogs oral surgery since she doesn't perform surgeries herself. Though it's two hours from where I live I chose her for her far more reasonable prices than another local recommended vet. I'm so glad I did. Everyone in the office is extremely friendly and kind and love animals. It's obvious. Dr. Stamm does a wonderful job explaining the process before and after surgery. We have been blessed because both times my dog needed surgery he was with a place that believes in dogs waking up in the vet techs arms. And I was waiting in the car in the parking lot with my other dog and an office asst or vet tech came out to invite me to come in and hold my dog if I wanted. I did! Put my other dog in the enclosed stroller and held my dog in my lap for the next half hour or so, then he was alert enough to leave. The vet reminded me that she was going to deduct the price of bloodwork so when the tech was ringing me up I reminded her so she had to fix it but she was totally nice about it. The vet popped by again and talked about asking my regular vet about liver cleanse so I asked her if she had what she was recommending and she had one bottle left so they had to adjust my bill a third time. Everyone was so nice and patient and the vet tech seemed like she would talk about my dogs teeth and recovery for another hour! She was so cute. But I needed to get on the road and try to beat traffic. I had been dreading this day but it was actually a nice day! I cannot stress enough how a fantastic vet and vet tech AND office staff can make or break your experience. Surgery on your beloved pet is very stressful! But I said my prayers, gave it to God, and after meeting everyone I really had no worries. All I had to do was wait. It took an hour less time than I had expected so that was nice. My day would not have been so carefree if these people weren't so amazing and friendly. Hallelujah! :)

Dr. Stamm and her team have done wonders for my senior German Shepherd. He developed hip and back problems at a relatively early age and I did not want to shorten his life, or quality of life, by using drugs to ease his pain. Now he runs and plays just as he did when he was younger, and he is no longer depressed. He comes in for regular holistic therapies, and the team at Meridian are always in good spirits and helpful. I have confidence that my dogs and cats are receiving care that will benefit them for the rest of their lives. Thanks Meridian!
