So thrilled my dog is a patient here. He had a lump on his face, they got him in for a same day I called appointment and prescribed antibiotics. I took my sick cat here last week as a walk in. I called around 3:15pm to see if they had any appts for the next day and the receptionist said they normally don't take walk ins but I was asked what was wrong with my cat and I told her my cat's symptoms. So she asked how soon could I take my cat in since obviously something was wrong. She told me to be there at 4pm. So I went, i appreciated the seperated Dog and Cat entrances! I checked in, waited in the waiting room for about 10 mins, then was called to the back. The Vet here is very nice and thorough. She checked my cat from head to toe thinking out loud to herself which I appreciated. Then she explained everything to me along with prices and let me decided which route to go with, she gave me 2 options, the conservative one, (less expensive) or the more thorough one (more pricey) she gave me both prices. She was not pushy AT ALL! I asked about Care Credit and she explained in full detail how it works.  So I applied and got approved.  I decided to go with the "conservative" option. Which was some bloodwork (to check for feline upper respiratory infection) and antibiotics. It was a Lil pricey for me but thanks to care credit,  I can pay in payments. I paid $135 for the exam, blood work and antibiotics.  Not what I wanted to pay, but because I had spent the last 3 days calling all over town for someone to take my cat as a walk in with no luck, I knew I had to go with it because I couldn't waste time and risk losing my cat. After devastating losses of my 4 legged companions I was animalless for a few years. I recently acquired two new dogs and no longer had a regular vet. They were all so kind and understanding. It was not about taking my money for unnecessary treatment. When the outcome was going to be a hard reality for me and my family. She walked me through all of my options. And for that I'm so thankful. I love my fur baby and would do whatever it takes to save him . But I will not have him suffer through just to have him for a few months longer. She made sure my Nigel will be in the least amount of pain until we are ready. One of my three kitties has been under the weather lately, so after reading reviews about Animal Medical Clinic, I made an appointment for my cat. We took him in today and saw Dr. Whitney. She was wonderful, as were all the ladies we spoke to. They were very sweet to my kitty and took their time, they didn't seem to rush us or him at all. Dr. Whitney was very upfront with costs- which I liked- seeing as I work a part time job and don't have thousands to spend. She let us know the more expensive routes, and the routes that most pet owners take. She also discovered a growth in my cats mouth that I have never seen! She let us know the procedure and told us we could come back if we wanted to address it in the future (it was so nice that she didn't insist on a million and one procedures all in one day!)All in all it was a wonderful experience, and it didn't break that bank. I love this place!! They do such a good job and everyone is friendly. The doctor is great and very knowledgeable. They have gone above and beyond helping my puppy out to get better. I came a little after 5 and everyone was walking out to leave and I didn't know they closed at 5 but they still let me come in and pick up the meds for my dog and were so so nice about it!!! We've brought three of our babies here on separate occasions--and with last minute emergency calls, mind you, each time, they were so helpful and found room to squeeze us in. We've had both doctors tend to our babes and both were so gentle, observant and professional, not to mention, considerate when it came to treatments and our financial circumstances. The staff is also amazing and always a joy. Even our dogs percieve this place as a warm welcoming environment. We live on the same block so there have been times that during their dog walks, they guide us to the clinic and sit outside at their glass doors, haha. This is definitely our go-to clinic of choice! This is a great place!  My dog needed to have a tooth removed and they did it for a very reasonable price, about a third of the cost of another vet I called.  While she was under, they trimmed her nails, cleaned her ears and did a dental cleaning.  Everyone at the office is friendly.   I also like that the dogs and cat have separate entrances.  The office and exam room were clean.  We will definitely be going back here! Yesterday, I had the unfortunate experience of having to find a veterinarian for my 8 year old boxer.  I made an appointment with a highly recommended vet in my neighborhood.  About 15 minutes before my appointment I received a call that they would not be able to see her!  I was really upset in that I knew my poor girl could not wait; things were looking grim.  I saw the reviews on Yelp regarding Animal Medical Clinic and thought I would give them a call.  They accommodated us without question and saw my Mia within an hour.  Unfortunately, due to kidney failure, we had to put her down.  This review alone cannot fully express the kindness and sympathy they shared with me as I was completely distraught at losing my dear walking partner.  The veterinarian and her assistant prepared me as we went through the process.   The assistant gently held Mia as she drew her last breath.  Compassion and passion is a rarity in this day and age.  When you come across someone as caring and professional as the staff at this facility even at a time of great loss, it brings comfort knowing that your pet is truly cared for Read Less

Animal Medical Clinic is a place built for all pets. Cats and dogs have separate entrances (great for my cat-reactive dog). The staff are friendly and they can fit you in the same day you call. My pup had to have her paw looked at after an incident and she was well cared for. They won't drag you on over unnecessary/expensive lab tests or x-rays. They're upfront with the costs. They remember your pets as soon as you walk through the door. Service is friendly and affordable. They even gave me a call a couple days after my appointment to check on my pup's paw. She really took the time to explain things to us and to make sure we understood. I also like that she just wanted to help our dog. So my dog ended up in the ER and the ER doctor told me his teeth were knocked around and needed immediate attention and it would be best of I took him to his local vet.  I called Pet Medical Center first thing in the morning and told them he was at the pet hospital, my situation, and they said bring him in asap.  And I did!!  They took him right away, were very empathetic to my situation and just handled everything at such a professional and courteous level.  They were just wonderful.  They were upfront about the cost and were running a special on teeth cleaning, so it all worked out great... This is such a great place! My Pekingese kept scratching her ears and crying and they were able to squeeze her in the same day. She's a puppy, so they gave me a free puppy pack. The vet did a thorough check up. I've never been to a vet who does such thorough checks on my pups. If I would have gone to her with my last pup I might have found out about my chihuahuas heart condition sooner. Moving all my pets to her.  She's great and so is her staff. Read Less

Okay, so first of all I did not intend to turn into the cat lady. I was given a kitten who would have otherwise been taken into the kitty pound and we all know what happens there if not adopted. And then a hobo cat shows up at my home and we could never catch hobo cat. All in all we procrastinated in getting them fixed and we ended up with 11 kittens! I needed all these kittens fixed as well as Mama cat. The clinic was super accommodating. I had to get over the fear of calling and sounding insane for asking to get so many kittens spade and neutered. I did not want for these kittens to multiply by six and I could not give these little guys away to new homes and allow what happened to me happen to someone else.Please call these wonderful people to have have your cats spade or neutered. They were very nice and kind to me and my many, many kittens. They won't laugh at your situation. Don't be the next cat lady or cat gentleman. By the way anybody want a kitten?? Dr. Murphy and staff are wonderful !  I called in the late morning and ask if they could see my dog, Cheese Steak. She had a very bad ear infection and was in great pain. I expected to wait a few days to get in to see them. I was told to bring her in after lunch at 2:45. They were so sweet and compassionate as my dog was not having anything to do with the ear cleaning. Dr. Murphy and staff were able to calm Cheese Steak and administer the deep cleaning and medicated drops. Not sure yet how I will make out with the remaining doses, but they did show me have to restrain my dog in a way that will help me complete my nursing duties. I would recommend this Vet to anyone! My next trip back will be with my Dalmatian, DJ.  He is even more of a big baby and is scared of everything. I know they will be able to calm him and treat him like one of their own.
