Dr. Mann is awesome he works with you on the cash part the staff all knows our dogs by names and welcome them in our dogs get so happy seeing them he sees all four of our dogs and saved three of our dogs each one had something wrong with it one is named Littles she got sick from warms almost died on us but we all didnt give up he saved her.. Fatboi got poison from a cockroach and he was pooping blood and throwing up blood saved him.. And Frank had got parvo and warms at the s...ame time and saved him the bill was the most $235 we paid that every day for a week and it saved our baby we LOVE Dr.Mann. Dr.Mann will give you two differnt prices one will be what your dog will really need and another will be what he recommends like extra things to boost him and get him feeling better. We always go with what the Dr recommends so we know hes getting the best. Yea we spent alot on frank but we are happy hes such a playful puppie. This morning, 5/17/18, 8:45 am, in the parking lot of your facility, a small compact car was traveling at a high speed, and blew a stop sign nearly missing my car. I could see the vehicle was parking in front of your office. I pulled up near the vehicle, rolled my window down, and asked the young woman "do you work here?". She said she did. I said.."are you aware you just blew through a stop sign?"...she said "sorry mam, I've got to use the bathroom". My husband is a 28 year veteran police officier. He has arrived to many calls where rushed stop sign runners have killed people. To the young lady who simply dismissed a very dangerous situation that she caused, next time you have a bathroom emergency, stop at McDonald's or some other establishment if you feel you are unable to make it to your final destination. I started going here because there was a discount for spay/neuter for cats. I am never going here again! I called last week for an appointment and scheduled my little friendly stray for a spay. They could have scheduled her at any time but instead choose a day when there were a HUGE amount of dogs. I asked that my little kitty be put in a room away from the dogs. Evidently that was not done and the little stray endured all day in a room full of big, barking dogs. This kitten ...is terrified of dogs. Dr. Mann finally got to poor Scruffy at 4 in the afternoon. I brought her home still wobbly from the operation. The incision is red and inflamed. Clearly this was a rush job. God, I hope that his incision doesn't get infected! My dog, Jasmine, is older with a collapsed trachea but still getting around and happy. She was super lethargic for a couple weeks. I decided to try a new vet and Care Vet is wonderful!! She had an infection so they gave her antibiotics and she’s running around like a puppy again. I can’t thank Dr. Mann, Amber, and the rest of the staff enough for making my Jasmine better!! Please give Care a try before you go anywhere else!! I have gone to probably every single vet in Fresno/Clovis and Care is by far my favorite and the only one my animals will ever go too!!The prices are sooooo affordable!! Only $100 for Xrays?! HECK YES!! And they give you a quote to sign before they do any work which I have RARELY experienced. They always have available appointments and are so accommodating. The girls in the front are always so nice and give love to my babies!!Dr. Mann is one of a kind!! What I love most is he is ALWAYS our vet, not a different vet each time and every time we go is someone different, nope! It is always Dr. Mann. He is always friendly, fast, and ALWAYS is able to figure out what is wrong. We found out our smaller dog has pancreatitis and for a split second I questioned it and wanted to get a second opinion. I immediately regretted it because same day all the meds we were given started working and continue to work!! Dr. Mann is the best we have found. After trying multiple different Vets from the most expensive/fancy offices, they all failed our pups. I was told by different Vets my dog had leukemia, I won't name them, but they never looked in her mouth-- it was a tooth problem! Dr. Mann doesn't just muzzle every dog and guess the most expensive tests--- he actually inspects each animal properly. A sick animal is terrible yet Care Veternary Clinic will not exploit pet owner's emotions t...o make filthy stacks of cash. He is professional, kind, thorough, learned, and treats both pets and owners with courtesy and respect all while being in a nice location and affordable. This is a Vet you can absolutely trust. First time there with Roxy girl. He seen she had a temp and we were moving. Service was absolutely wonderful. They saw us pretty much when we got there, no down wait time -Doctor Mann was efficient in exam. The nurses were very sweet and professional. We have a new doctor in the family! Trustworthy veterinary office for my cats and dog. I have visited this office numerous occasions. Staff are friendly and helpful. I am able to get appointments usually same day or next, and never have to wait long to be seen. Dr. Mann is friendly, professional and competent. Depending on the situation, he will give me options for treatment of my pet. I like how staff will tally-up the treatment options on paper, show them to me, so I can make an informed decision. Reasonable costs. They never try to oversell treatment like other hospitals might do. Much appreciated. Read Less

I absolutely love this vet office. I recently had to put my dog down due to an elderly dog issue. The staff here went above and beyond to help me feel better. They even sent a personalized card to my home, not some cookie cutter "sorry for your loss" card. They took the time to get to know me and my pet as best as they could. I went there in an emergency situation but they gain a new permanent client out of me. Read Less

I have been taking my pets to Care Vet for many years now. I cannot express how much I appreciate everyone! Dr. Mann is the best!! as well as his staff. They are not only professional but real caring people. I recently lost our beloved Zsa Zsa. When I phoned the office to inform Dr. Mann, I was sincerely comforted by Dr. Mann and his wonderful staff. We all shared some tears together. I received an amazing card in the mail from everyone at Care. I know that most Vets do this. What sets Dr. Mann and his staff apart from other Vets is the sincerity. We lost Zsa Zsa in December 2016. I received a letter in the mail yesterday from Stanford Health Care PET/MRI. I was overcome by the incredible thoughtfulness of Dr. Mann and staff making a donation on behalf of our precious Zsa Zsa. My dogs were treated here with so much care respect & love. I feel so safe bringing my dogs here we've, always gotten above and beyond service from dr. Mann and his staff. My dogs have had problems and would always have been better off after visits with him. Plus the prices are cheap. Read Less

I'll start off by saying the staff was very nice..-I took my 8 mo. old kitten to get spayed, she would barley eat or drink the next day and got worse each day. I syringe fed her realizing she was dehydrated then, l saw the puss leaking out & the surgical sight enlarged, I assumed with puss. I took her back and he said, it was because she licked it.."... he cleaned her wound, gave her more antibiotics and charged $114.00. I bought a cone, just in case she licked it... In over 20+ yrs and over 30 to 40 cats I've had spayed or neutered, I've never had this problem. My kitten is worse today, she looks half dead, won't eat or drink and puss is oozing out. UPDATE~ The next day, we had to take her to emergency, she was pouring out puss like urine. They said she was septic & maybe allergic to the stitches & the infection had spread all in her abdomen. She had a 20 to 80% chance of even surviving being put under for exploratory surgery. She would have to be hospitalized for a minimum of 3 days costing 1,000's of dollars. We had to have her put down. All over being spayed by a vet who had no clue even though she was so sick an rotting from the inside out & was oozing puss. I have a broken heart over the loss of my little Bear ... This was my first & last time bring an animal to this vet. Read Less

I am the CEO/Founder of Feral Paws Rescue Group in Fresno, I have taken so many cats to Dr. Mann. I have been nothing but impressed with his total care of our cats. There are cats that I have taken to other vet that there health was failing. I then took them to Dr. Mann and they improved and are now in forever homes. Sure there is good and bad in every profession. Our rescue has taken to Dr. Mann some very seriously ill cats pulled from High Kill Shelters. That have just done wonderful under his care. I have found him to be very caring to our cats under his care. Being a rescue we don't just deal with one cat. We have taken 100 of cats to Dr. Mann and they have been well take care of under his care. I have the up most respect for Dr. Mann. His staff is always so helpful and kind to any one that takes a cat to him under our rescue. I would refer him to any one looking for a good vet!Read Less

I would give the staff here a 10 star rating if I could. I have a severely dog- and people-reactive dog. He's almost 80 pounds of muscle and reacts violently and aggressively when people get too close to him or if he just sees a dog. We're taking him into UC Davis to have his behavior analyzed by their veterinary team, but before we go we needed to get some tests done and do blood work for him. Usually things like this aren't a big deal - draw a little blood and send the pup on his merry way. Not my guy. We had to wrestle him between the door and the wall like a corralled horse to sedate him just to take his blood. The staff that helped us, specifically Alyssa and Dr. Mann, were SUPER patient with all the failed attempts to do this (over the course of two appointments) and very helpful. They were very careful about the way they approached my dog, and while he was still very uncomfortable, that's all it was - discomfort. There was no excessive lunging or barking like there usually is when we visit a vet. Not only this, but they cleared the way for us every time we entered the hallway by making sure there were no dogs or cats in eyesight and opening all the doors so we could make a quick getaway. If you've ever owned a severely reactive/aggressive dog you can probably understand just how appreciated that was. I've had experiences in other vet's offices where they just barge in and force my dog down to get whatever they need from him. They are aware your dog is dog-aggressive, but don't warn you or the guy sitting in the lobby with his yappy chihuahua before they send you though. This not only worsens a dog's reactivity, but makes me feel stressed out and horrible for being so helpless while my pup tries to protect himself from these things he's scared of. I got my boy's results back within two days, and it didn't cost me an arm or a leg to do the blood work like it does in other offices. For the first time visiting a vet, I didn't have to constantly worry about the safety of everything that moves within 20 feet of my dog because the staff helped out a lot. Read Less

Girls at the front were nice but the work was horrible. We brought our dog in to have a cyst removed and the staples they put in came out. Not only that but the bandage they put on did not cover the full length of the incision so a lot of fluid dripped on our floor. We had to go the pharmacy and get our own bandages and redo their shoddy work ourselves. We took our dog back to have them replace the staples that had come out and they did an even worse job of bandaging it the second time around. They charged us again for the office visit even though it was their crummy work that brought us back. Apparently they gave us the wrong antibiotic the first time so we got charged again for the second, and supposedly correct bottle, of antibiotics. Really crappy work. Just go somewhere else. I brought our puppy here because of an advertised affordable "puppy package" for $120. The package included free exams, 4 DHPP vaccines, 4 dewormings, Bordetella vaccine, Rabies vaccine, and a fecal test. This place is very affordable, which was really helpful for myself and my husband as we are newlyweds trying to get our feet on the ground. We made a total of four visits to the clinic since we adopted our puppy. I feel that our first visit went fine, a thorough physical exam was made, and our puppy received his first vaccine and deworming. I feel that with every visit after, the care and service went downhill. I felt like the young women that gave my puppy all of his vaccines and dewormings were very sweet and caring, but not very experienced, and some were still learning which is very concerning as a pet owner. Also, the office seemed a little unorganized as on our third visit, they kept telling us that this was our final visit and round of shots even though we still had a fourth visit and round of shots. When I made this clear to them, they got our fourth visit booked. I called ahead of our fourth visit to see if the vet would be in to give a final physical exam as it was our final visit and I had paid for this service. The woman assured me that would be fine and even told me that the vet usually always did that on the final visit. When we arrived and were taken to the back room, the vet came in to tell me that my puppy had already had all of his vaccinations and that we didn't need to be there. I had all of the documentation showing only 3 visits and 3 DHPP vaccinations and dewormings, so I knew this to be untrue. I insisted he receive his fourth vaccine and deworming (THAT I PAID FOR.) The vet left and the ladies administered the meds. When they were finished, I asked about the final physical exam and they went to get the vet. He came in and appeared very annoyed and asked if I had a question. I asked if my puppy could receive his final physical exam (that again, I PAID FOR.) He told me that it was "uneccessary" and my puppy received his vaccines and was "fine and healthy, and he does not need one". My puppy had not received a physical since the start of the medicines two and a half months prior, he had also contracted and recovered from parvovirus since that physical: he needed a new physical! Also, the girl on the phone told me that he would do it and that it was normal procedure. Again, I kinda pushed the subject and so he half fasted a physical. You expect veterinarians to have the well being of your pet and furbaby in mind, this vet did not display that to me or my puppy. The ladies were very sweet and displayed a concern for animals, that the vet did not. The facility is very clean and has welcoming wall murals, which we appreciated. I feel that the old saying "you get what you pay for" really applies to this place. If you pay a cheap price, unfortunately you're going to get cheap care. I will also note another red flag, that in all of our 4 visits, we never once saw another patient which is odd to me. We will not be returning and we will be returning to our more reputable and caring vet clinic with more experience, though more expensive, we feel that it is necessary so that we know our baby is getting the best care. If you want your furbaby(ies) to receive genuine care, I do not recommend this clinic. Read Less
