I love Dr. Hagus and her staff! They are all very accommodating and knowledgable. Her office is clean and they stagger appointments so you don't run the risk of exposing your pet to others in the waiting area. I've never had to wait very long and I find her to be very gentle with my pets (a must!). I like that she's willing to answer questions and takes her time to explain things that might be confusing. Dr. Hagus and her staff are caring and competent. I think our dogs would prefer to live with her. She's kept one of our dogs going for 14 yrs, through some really bad experiences -seizures, poisoning & intestinal problems. I've recommended her services to several families. Hagus is a very committed Vet no doubt about that. However the scheduling and visits are very unaccommodating. They are on the upper end of expensive, and staff can be less than helpful. Arrogance and attitude abound. Always wants to up sell you on something. Would rather you come in for a vi$it than help via the phone, even with resolvable issues. Wants documentation if your animal has not always been seen by her or she will not work on or look at, irregardless of the situation. I am so pleased with Dr. Hagus and her staff. I took my 2 dogs to receive her services today. My older dog has been terrified about going to see a vet for years now, but Dr. Hagus handled her so gently, and my dog settled down quickly. My younger dog gave her tons of kisses. Dr. Hagus is so understanding and gentle and takes all of the time necessary to explain things and answer my questions and concerns. I will definitely recommend her to my family and friends. I noticed right away how friendly the staff was and how they cared for our new member of the family, 8wk gsd named Kino. I was so impressed that I referred a family member who also became new puppy owner to a littermate of Kino. She was also impressed with the office and staff. Nice to see dog siblings being treated at the same facility so we can compare and learn from each others visits. One can see right away that Dr. Hagus loves her work and animals. She has a great puppy program and gives one time free 2.2 lb Science diet puppyfood, one month frontline. It's nice to receive free things once in awhile. I'm glad to hear that Dr. Hagus recognized good quality dogfood as I myself don't prefer sciencediet, she made me believe that she is on top of her field. Her office is very clean and organized and she sees you right away which is nice since I tend to become impatient.
