The clinic is honest, sensible and reasonable. When my 18 month puppy tore cruciate ligament, instead of pushing towards surgery like other vets, they suggested waiting to see if healed on own. 7-10 times it will heal on own. It did. Disappointed. Both my dogs needed shots, they took one in and about two minutes later brought her back out, then the assistant gave the nose drop to the other dog out in the lobby. Didn't even see the vet! Guess needed another appointment for that. Well, I won't be returning. Read Less

LOVE!!!!! After going through three vets in Lodi,... so glad that I found this office. Well worth the drive. Staff, tech, and doctors are compassionate, patient, not hurried, and explanatory. We saw Dr Eaton on an emergency visit and Dr Booth for an ordinary ear issue. They both spent the time needed to make myself and my dog very comfortable. My 2yr old female yorkie was welcome into country oaks veterinary hospital like a family member . Which made it easy for our family to be able neutered her at this veterinary hospital. As we had looked in to other . No other vet hospital was this warming . Our pet is very loved in our family . This hospital truly is a great place to take your little loved once . We love our vets! When we had an issue with our cats refusing to take worming tablets, they sorted everything out. Our cat isn't too great when we try to feed him tablets but those guys at Country Oaks, he was a different cat for them! They just have such a good way with animals Read Less

We moved to Galt 2 years ago and had country oaks recommended to us by a few people. The staff is always very nice and they are great about getting us in when our dog has an issue very quickly! They take great care if our doggy and are always so sweet. Read Less

I would definitely NOT recommend them... I took my 3 dogs to them to have a check up and to get flea medication. The vet said everything looked great, i spend over $200. My friend adopts one of my dogs from me and has to take him in to her own vet (out of town) to get him on her regimen and her vet found that the dog has broken teeth, an ear infection and a skin condition. I contacted them about this with no response. I am now worried sick about what could be wrong with my other 2 dogs and will be taking them to Mokelumne river Vet. This was in July.I learned later that they also misdiagnosed my friend's dog that ended up costing him his life and were really insensitive about it. Read Less

We recently found a very underweight puppy roaming the streets and we snatched her up. We took her to Country Oaks last Saturday for a check up to make sure that other than her weight she was healthy. Dr Booth and her staff were very nice and friendly. I felt like they really care about the animals. I have been to a few vets that it seems they just want the money but I never got that feeling here. Prices were very reasonable, wait time was very reasonable and they even gave us a free puppy kit that included heart worm and flea/tick medicine. I definitely recommend this place. We currently have a vet in another city for our animals that we love but if we ever need a new one Country Oaks will be it! Read Less

I brought in my dog because he was going bald, and frankly looked hideous. He was biting at his skin, making himself bleed at times, so I finely made the decision to take him to this vet. The lady at the counter was nice and greeted us right away, and the examination took place. They gave me medicine for my dog's irritation and Frontline since he had symptoms of having fleas. Great customer service, but I did do research of how much the Fronline cost, and I could have saved myself $20 dollar if I had bought the Frontline somewhere else, so be aware of other cost options out in the market, after all, they do need to make a profit somehow. The pills I couldn't have gotten them anywhere else since the dog needed a prescription, and they helped ease his pain, so I'm thankful for that. Overall they did have great customer service, as I would expect since they charge almost $50 just for examination. But with the price at side, my dog did show extraordinary improvement after a week, so they know what they are doing. Read Less
