I've been going to the San Dimas Feed mobile pet clinic, which is by vetcare for the longest time. My friends and family go here as well. Recently this year I have been experiencing such rude customer service the past two times that I have gone, all through the same lady which work with Dr. Pahio on May 20th and July 8th. I hope this lady learns to be more patient and less sarcastic in her approach to helping us and our pets. No one appreciates unnecessary sarcastic response and a rude service when a customer has been very loyal to Vetcare. I will definitely make sure neither me or my family and friends will go there again. Read Less

They have pet clinics throughout the county on Saturdays usually at City Halls. Reasonable prices you just save a few dollars and of course don't have to pay for office visit just beware of two things. They use one vet which is very eccentric and refuses to give cats a vaccine and test them for leukemia and Leukemia vaccine on same visit. she claims that puts a lot of stress on the animals although the management claims they do all that at the actual facility. By the time you learn this you have already paid and are being told to return in a month or go to another clinic in a few weeks to have the vaccine and Leukemia test done. The supervisor Debbie is very high strung. She will tell you she is giving you her cell number, which is actually the office number. Then when you call her , she tells you they cannot refund leukemia test and then does and becomes rather rude. Read Less

Negative 5 stars! Brought my dog here for a simple surgery and these idiots burned him, the equipment they used malfunctioned but the incompetence of this clinic is overwhelming! I took my Husky mix, Cali, here last week to get a dental cleaning and had the best experience. The office manager, Debbie, was so kind and helpful. Cali has had a great recovery and doing well. UPDATE: Something I wish I'd known is that shaving my dog's leg to put in aN IV catheter might result in clipper irritation. 5 days after his procedure, my dog had licked the shaved area so much his skin was swollen! Called the vet and they recommended a cone and Benadryn spray. TLNR: Dog had a deep clean under general anesthesia. Dog made it out alive, unafraid, and teeth look clean. I didn't burn a hole through my bank statement. Long version:This is not my dog's regular vet but I was in the area to get my Lasiks consultation on a Friday day off  and figured I'll have my dog's teeth cleaned while I'm out here. One sheet paperwork, no vac. record/health record needed. I called the day before and was able to get an appointment. Dropoff time is between 8-830AM. My puppy hates going to the vet and instantly pooped/peed on the receptionist when I handed him over. She was really nice and didn't seem annoyed at me or my dog --- which makes me feel more assured in leaving my anxious dog here. We were the only ones in the office at the time, thus there were no other crying dogs to make mine more nervous. I picked my dog up at 5:30PM but he was ready to go at 3PM. He had his procedure around 12PM. Not knowing when he'd get his procedure done, I actually called near noon to ask about my dog's condition. The receptionist didn't rush me off the phone but actually went to check on my dog during the procedure. She called me back when my dog's procedure was done to let me know all went well and my dog was waking up. Thanks for being patient with this anxious mom!Nicole, not sure if VT or Vet. She was personable and answered all my  post-procedure questions without hesitation even though it was close to closing time. She also made an effort to open one of the medicine boxes to check which syringe I got. She claimed the one I was originally given was not a good one and personally went in the back to grab me a different one. That's above and beyond my expectations!  I'm not sure why other pet parents have had negative experiences here. Mine was good and I recommend this practice.The cleaning, X-ray and anesthesia was $159.Bloodwork $85IV Cath $60 Pain meds & antibiotics $45Biohazard fee $3No extractionsFor reference, my 3 yo  dog is 15 lbs and is healthy. Price is probably relative to condition, size, and procedures. Apparently, you can get the deep cleaning done without bloodwork and an IV catheter. I wanted to air on the safe side and make sure he's all set just in case so I okayed the optional "luxuries." It's been 2 days after my dog's procedure and the guy seems to be in perfect condition. I have been taking my pets to this clinic for the last 15 years, and have been very happy with the care my pets received. However, within the months, it seems the vet is more concerned about making money, than the care of the animal. I feel disillusioned, and will be taking my pets elsewhere. Read Less

Awful experience here. The doctor put my old German Shepherd on the wrong medicine causing her skin issues to worsen to the point she looked like a burn victim almost over night. After 2 months of proper treatment, oils, specialty baths, strict diet...her skin is finally back to normal.Read Less

I am not usually a "review writer", probably because I am on the computer all day and am not interested in typing more than I have to...but this clinic is super great. I find that I get the best personal care here for my little 12-year old Yorkie. Having a super small dog who is dealing with aging issues can be difficult and stressful. At Vet Care Pet Clinic, we get great care, personal attention, and it is not the most expensive either. I know, it is not cheap, but it is less expensive than the last 3 clinics I have been to...and those clinics did not give me personal attention. I like this clinic's staff better, and I feel like my dog gets personal care that makes him feel the best he can in these circumstances. We just had a deep cleaning for his teeth and they found a tumor. We had to have it removed under anesthesia and he had to stay there all day. Usually, I get really stressed out during these types of visits because I know he would most probably be all by himself in a cage somewhere. At this clinic, it is small enough that I know he is in an area with staff around him constantly, and I know they check on him often. The staff tell me how he acted and really make me feel like they watched him super carefully. I appreciate the care he gets here, AND the office manager is always nice and takes her time to explain billing or help me with my insurance claims (yes, my dog has insurance!). I don't usually do these ratings for anyone, but wanted to make an exception for this clinic. We have taken our dogs to them for 3 years now for shots at a mobile clinic in Santa Ana civic center. So when our dog needed shots quickly to get groomed (we had not done the last rabies and forgot), we went to their office in Garden Grove. They are awesome! The whole staff is very friendly and concerned about my pet and her care. The prices are reasonable for what you get, and there is no hard sell on insurance or flea care. I am waiting for the non-anesthetic tooth cleaner to get back to me about an appointment, as I don't want my pet anesthetized to clean her teeth. She's tiny. We brought our cat in to Vet Care Pet Clinic after he had been bitten in the neck by another animal. His neck and head were swollen and he looked really bad. Dr. Choi and his team saved his life. After a few days at the vet, we brought him home. But after a week our cat was still not healing. Dr. Choi said that we should take him to a specialist and that he probably needed surgery but that it would probably cost a couple of thousand dollars. Well our cat is 17 years old so we told him that we would just take him home and he will last for as long as he lasts. The next day Dr. Choi called us and told us that he had been thinking about our cat and that he would like us to bring him in to the vet to stay for a few days (for free!) so they could keep his wound clean and try to help heal him with antibiotics. Well they kept our cat for two weeks and he got better! They saved his life! Dr Choi and everyone at Vet Care Pet Clinic are fantastic. I have never been to a more caring, genuine, and honest veterinarian hospital. I highly recommend Vet Care Pet Clinic, and we will never take our pets anywhere else. Read Less

The folks at this so called clinic are one notch below a Walmart Greeter. The so called Vets roll Thu here like a revolving door "fresh out of school" totally lack any experience to conduct surgery etc. This Clinic burned my friends dog so bad it disfigured the poor Boston Terrier for life. I brought my dog Angel to Vet Care Pet Clinic in Garden Grove. The staff there was wonderful. I had my granddaughter with me and we were extremely worried about our dog. Angel had a mass on the side of her stomach and it had opening up and looked infected. When I called for appt I was able to get in immediately. When I arrived at the vet hospital the front desk had a staff member bring Angel into the hospital for me. They had already set up the room very nice with several soft blankets on top of the counter for her to lay on. The doctor came in and gave her a full examination. They took blood and ran the tests that I felt were necessary. They spent the extra time and explain everything to me and my granddaughter and what we felt was best for our dog Angel. We had to put Angel to sleep but the experience was extremely heart felt and kind. Several days later I received a card with Angel’s paw print on it and all the staff members signed it… how sweet. If and when I get another dog I will be returning to Vet Care Pet Clinic for service. Read Less

I had my cat spayed there. The flier said 50.00 for spay they take the cat then charge 170.00 hidden fees deceptive ads. my cats stichtes opened they take her in the back and put staples no pain meds nothing, she has a scare on her tummy, will never co there again, just horrible. Read Less
