Came to see the chiropractor for my dog. I absolutely love her, Doctor Eileen Hayworth. She has a way with the canine kind and my dog seemed to enjoy the realignment process besides feeling energized afterwards. California Veterinary Hospital is the best veterinary hospital I have visited. I trust that my dog will receive the utmost care in their hands. The staff and Doctor are very gentle, pleasant and caring towards all of the animals brought in by their owners. The lobby / waiting room is very serene and calming. This is an important characteristic for me because bringing your pet to see the Doctor is usually stressful for both the owner and the pet. The staff and Doctor realize this, and work to gain the trust of both the pet and the owner. Their hours are great and allows everyone to get into the office even with challenging schedules. Their prices are fair and reasonable. The Doctor and staff manage to work with every budget! I feel especially assured that my dog has gotten the best care and treatment she could possibly have received whenever I take her to California Veterinary Hospital. The money I have spent at this veterinary hospital for my dog's continued health is the best money I have spent and will spend!! I have been taking my Bailey to CA Vet since we got her (2 years now) and every visit has been pleasant. I love the upgrades they have made to the reception area. As for the staff, they are always patient and helpful. I felt so bad when Bailey had a very bad nose bleed and blood was all over their facility; however, hey quickly cleaned it up and with a smile and assured me it was no problem. The doctor went out of his way to get the situation under control and make me and my children calm (as we were so scared). He was very knowledgeable on dobermans and Bailey hasn't had a nose bleed since. My family and I truly appreciate all they do! Read Less

I have been coming to California Veterinary Hospital for 13 years for my 2 dogs. Dr. Sanghera and staffs are very friendly and treat my pets with compassion and love. Even though at times they are busy, they still managed to take care good care of you. The staffs will call to ask about your pet's condition and a followup appointment is free if needed. One of my dog recently diagnosed with heart murmur and the Doctor provided me with additional information to care for my dog. I was able to get a appointment fast and they were very professional. The prices are reasonable and the place is very clean. The only part I didn't like is that I never met or spoke to doctor. Quality care for an unbeatable price. They are right next door to the Carson Animal Shelter, which is where I adopted my beloved German Shepard. My bill for check-up, tests and medication always came under $250. Also with my follow-up appointments it was no charge. The doctors are phenomenal, the facility clean, the support staff goes above and beyond, and-- best of all-- they are creative diagnosticians who look at every pet as a unique and special challenge. I took my dog in because he had fleas and somehow walked out having paid $275 for various things I was told my dog needs right NOW. That's fine, if he needed it he needed it. He also had a physical exam done and was diagnosed as completely healthy besides the fleas. A week and a half later, he's breathing abnormally so I rush him there to see if someone can help. I get there as soon as they opened @ 7:30 AM, and what do I find? I'm told that the Dr. is not in til 9 and there's no nurse! My dog stopped breathing while I was there and was told by the evil receptionist that she "was just a receptionist" and the girl who opened "just cleaned up there and they couldn't help me"! She said that neither of them had ANY info that could help me help my dog keep breathing. Strange, considering they work in a VET'S OFFICE! My dog died on the way to another vet's office. Thanks CVH! I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS OFFICE! I brought my pet in for a routine vaccination. After a urinalysis it was discovered that my dog was experiencing issues with her kidney. My dog is pretty old; however, she was walking, running, eating, drinking and responding as a normal dog when I brought her back for a recommended 3 day treatment for her condition. After the first day I was told she was doing great and would probably be able to come home early. After the second day, I was informed that she had taken a turn for the worse and her prognosis was poor. All of a sudden the recommendation for my animal is euthanasia. I was in disbelief when I went to pick her up. She couldn't walk anymore and every time she tried she would fall down. She wouldn't eat or drink anything. After paying the remaining balance on my $540 bill, I picked up my precious dog and took her home where she died that evening. Now I am furious and this is the only place I can vent my frustration. I wish I had never taken my dog there in the first place. If I hadn't she would still be alive today. Read Less
