The people here are great. They were very kind when my beloved cat became sick beyond what treatments and medicine could do and we had to put him down before the quality of his life declined anymore. The staff let us have long last moments with him and were clear with the process of euthanasia. I got a keepsake paw print for him and it was okay, not the quality I imagined but it is still okay. My kitty has a thyroid problem. Instead of starting with a high dose and then bringing it down like we've discovered is the way most vets do it, she started with the smallest amount and then when it wasn't working she told us to up it by another pill a day. I had to leave for 6 weeks so I had my husband pick up the new prescription. The vet told him to give our kitty less than we had been giving him and it said that on the prescription bottle also. Somehow my oblivious husband (who works 16 hours a day 7 days a week) didn't see that he was starving to death and when we got back I was amazed that he was living as skinny as he was. I questioned the vet and she said that she was sorry that there had been a "mislabeling". She took no blame on herself and even though my husband said she had introduced herself as the vet she threw her receptionist under the bus saying it must have been her. She then blamed my daughter for confusing them by saying we could cut a bigger pill in half for the up-ed dosage. Isn't it the doctor that is responsible for the writing on the bottle? In fact there were 2 bottles of the same medicine because of the amount and the instructions were different on both bottles. It's been 3 weeks and he is gaining weight but still has diarrhea. The last 2 vets we've been to are horror stories so we're afraid to take our baby to anyone. Read Less
