Im 48 years old . Mickey the puch you see in the photo is a rescue. I say that because i found him in a parking lot on the corner of Martin Luther King jr and Western. He was only 2 months old and was hiding in a pile of trash. Before Mickey i had Oso he was a 115 lb. rott and he was with me for 13 years. My pets are my family. I would do anything for them. Especially when it comes to medical care. Ive lived all over los angeles and have gone too at least 8 to 10 other vets before i found doctor choi. Believe me when i say he is one of if not the best vet in LA. Let me say one thing before i go on, for the guy who left a one star review . Just a little tip ,instead of pointing out the doctors nationality and making your visit to the vet all about you . Next time you go you might want to concentrate on why you went to the vet in the first place . To fix your pet. Right so try putting them first . Thats exactly what Doctor Choi does is puts your pet first .He is incredibly professional and knowledgeable from what ive seen and experienced from bringing my pets to him. My rott had bone cancer in his front leg and doctor choi saved oso when other vets told me to put him down. Doctor choi is truly an amazing doctor who is very compassionate. I trust him 100% and highly recommend him . 5 star ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I just got home from taking my dog to get vaccinations from Dr. Choi. He is WONDERFUL! His manner was so calm, kind, and informative. The same goes for his staff. I could not believe how patient they were with my questions and how sweet they were to my dog. I made an appointment for my dog to come back next week for some treatments. I recommend this vet to anyone that loves their dog. The office is easy to access and very clean. I could not be happier that I found this place. Yelpers did not lead me wrong. The excellent reviews were right on point.

I took my dog for neutering and I was happy the way the receptionists assisted me and gave me appointments. However, I must say that the place could barely called a hospital. It was not a clean. The main thing that I give the place 2 star is the doctor's approach- he came in late- didn't check my dog's medical records. He was a bit rude and didn't seem like care much about anything. Mankind can improve itself day by day- he stopped improving at one point and he gets 2 star and won't recommend it anyone to see him.

I recently changed vets from an over crowded vet to Dr. Choi. I must say that I was a little surprised by the negative reviews. I have so far had good luck with this vet. My dog had surgery recently and everything turned out good. Dr. Choi and staff have been very attentive to me and all my questions.
I was on a budget when I found out my dog needed surgery and I didn't feel any pressure from Dr. Choi at all. He gave me my options and I had to decide what to do. My dog seemed very at ease at this vet. I did not feel any bad vibes at all, and I'm super picky when it comes to my pet.
The place is extremely clean. The customers that walked in all seemed pleased with Dr. Choi.
So far I have no complaints at all.
I would recommend this vet.

Looked at all the reviews on yelp to try to find a vet that is close, competent, honest and reasonable - and able to see our cat Valentina ASAP. Her leg and paw were swollen and getting worse by the day. We had called several other highly rated vets and everyone was too busy to see her quickly - one week plus wait time! We called Glenoaks Animal Hospital and got an appointment for the same day! The staff was kind, helpful and compassionate. Dr. Choi looked at our cat, asked numerous questions and performed a couple of tests. We were given a straight forward and honest diagnosis without being nickel and dimed to death like several vets we have encountered. Unfortunately, she has vascular cancer so we took her home to make her remaining days comfortable. HIGHLY recommended!

Low Cost? Not at all. This doctor nickels and dimes you for everything. I spent so much money taking my dog in for the same issue. My dog had a "conjunctivitis" and was not responding well to the medication prescribed. The Vet would not let me come in for a "refill" I had to make another appointment just so he can tell me what we already knew "My dog has conjunctivitis" and gave me the same prescription again. I had to spend about 500 dollars in office visits just for conjunctivitis. Needless to say, I went to another vet, she prescribed a different medication and my dog is fine. He was also very careless when applying ear medication to my other dog. He went in too far and poked my dogs ear drum...my poor dog screamed and yelped. My dog never forgot that and when I had to take him in for something else, he would NOT willingly walk through that door. STAY AWAY!!

I went to Glenoaks Animal Hospital with my 15 year old cat for the first time last week. Let me first off saying that I walked in without an appointment and their receptionist informed me that would be able to accommodated me within 5 minutes, which I didnt mind because I did just walk in. The first thing i noticed was that there was no smell!!! Ive gone to plenty of other vets and when you walk in the first thing you smell is a death odor. The receptionist Desiree had a huge smile on her face and was very informative with all the prices and any questions I had. I did ask a question that she was unfamiliar with and she made sure to inform the doctor before he entered the room. Dr. Choi was very friendly and answered all my questions regarding the health of my cat especially for his age. I did call around and get quotes for blood work and vaccinations and this hospital had the best deal. I never felt like Dr. CHoi was trying to sell me additional procedures and he listened to my budget. Which was comforting.
I would strongly recommend this animal hospital to any new patients that are in need of Vet. Trust me after 15 years of going to vet to vet, I wish I would have gone here sooner.

My dog was a patient of Dr Choi for 3 months before I switched vets. I immediately noticed how he treated his techs rudely and it was always all about the money with him. When I switched vets, my new vet kindly reached out to his office for a copy of the vaccination records and they said that they wouldn't scan and send it because it was 2 pages; they only scan and send if it's one. So I called them directly, requesting this again, and Dr Choi himself finally said that he'd fax the vaccination records but that I would have to pay $10. TEN DOLLARS for him to fax 2 pages of records to a local vet office. If I still lived close I would have just gone and picked them up, but that wasn't an option. I can't stress this enough: Dr Choi is THE rudest vet I've ever encountered and highly suggest not going to him. Set aside the greedy, cold, and rude man he is, I never trusted him with my dog. I wouldn't leave her alone with him in the room. While I was a client there for those 3 months, I encountered SIX different techs that he hired, who ended up quitting. I could go on and on, but you get the picture. Please, do yourself, your wallet and you pet a favor and DO NOT go to this vet.

Im 48 years old . Mickey the puch you see in the photo is a rescue. I say that because i found him in a parking lot on the corner of Martin Luther King jr and Western. I just got home from taking my dog to get vaccinations from Dr. Choi. He is WONDERFUL! His manner was so calm, kind, and informative. The same goes for his staff. I could not believe how patient they were with my questions and how sweet they were to my dog. I made an appointment for my dog to come back next week for some treatments. I recommend this vet to anyone that loves their dog. The office is easy to access and very clean. I could not be happier that I found this place. Yelpers did not lead me wrong. I took my dog for neutering and I was happy the way the receptionists assisted me and gave me appointments. However, I must say that the place could barely called a hospital. It was not a clean. I recently changed vets from an over crowded vet to Dr. Choi. I must say that I was a little surprised by the negative reviews. I have so far had good luck with this vet. My dog had surgery recently and everything turned out good. Dr. Choi and staff have been very attentive to me and all my questions.
I was on a budget when I found out my dog needed surgery and I didn't feel any pressure from Dr. Choi at all. He gave me my options and I had to decide what to do. My dog seemed very at ease at this vet. I did not feel any bad vibes at all, and I'm super picky when it comes to my pet.

Looked at all the reviews on yelp to try to find a vet that is close, competent, honest and reasonable - and able to see our cat Valentina ASAP. Her leg and paw were swollen and getting worse by the day. We had called several other highly rated vets and everyone was too busy to see her quickly - one week plus wait time! We called Glenoaks Animal Hospital and got an appointment for the same day! The staff was kind, helpful and compassionate. Dr. Choi looked at our cat, asked numerous questions and performed a couple of tests. Low Cost? Not at all. This doctor nickels and dimes you for everything. I spent so much money taking my dog in for the same issue. My dog had a "conjunctivitis" and was not responding well to the medication prescribed. Let me first off saying that I walked in without an appointment and their receptionist informed me that would be able to accommodated me within 5 minutes, which I didnt mind because I did just walk in.
