Prices seemed fair for vaccinations, but for a first checkup, I was expecting a bit more, like checking my dog's teeth, paws, or looking inside his ears perhaps. Doctor addressed main issue of concern, but overall assessment was lacking, other than weight, heartbeat, and temp.
I was on time. But they made me wait for over 30 mins before finally seeing the doctor for less than 10 mins.
I was helped right away, but sent to a waiting room on the back. Most of the time spent on back room waiting for doc, or chit chatting with assistant.
Maybe this is how vets are? Not much experience, but was hoping for more.
Doctor seemed genuinely nice, so despite all I mentioned, I would go back again.

He is a great surgeon too! He recently had to remove a benign tumor on my Shepard’s elbow joint that was causing discomfort and my pet has fully recovered and runs like the wind!

I have been taking my pets (First my cat Loki, who was a adoption/rescue, and then my cat batman, also a rescue) here for awhile now, couple years... Doctor Bindra and staff are awesome, they work well with the animals (even my grumpy cat who one could swear is a dog he can be such a tough guy...) and works with you as a customer to make you feel at ease with whats going on, and give you options to deal with the situation. I highly recommend this office as I truly feel Dr. Bindra is one of those great vets who truly loves every single animal that comes through his door, and wants to make sure they are all taken care of.

Dr. Bindra and his staff have a passion for animals. I have multiple weenies and Dr. Bindra has been wonderful dealing with the herd and their problems. But recently I took in a fospice rescue. Josie was balding and lumpy and only had one eye. With Dr. Bindra's help we made her last five months so wonderful. She grew hair, she got shiny and filled out. She played with us and gave wonderful soulful kisses. When it was time, Dr. Bindra and his staff gave us dignity and compassion like I have never experienced. It was lovely and peaceful. Josie felt safe and so did the family. They went above and beyond, He has our trust. Completely.

I was looking for a vet close to where we were located but no one had any appointments available. When I called Gold River they also had no appointments available, but the Doctor asked if I could bring Abby in right away because it was his lunch break, and he was willing to look at her instead of having lunch. I took her in, and he checked her out gave her the meds she needed, and didn't make me put her through any painful, unnecessary tests.\nI can't tell you how much I appreciated his kindness in giving up his break to make my dog more comfortable!\nHe is definitely in the right business because you can tell he loves animals.\n

This Dr. is amazing. We've had good and bad experiences over the 30 years we've each been ""parent"" to various pets, from tadpoles to horses, but mostly cats. When we brought our kitties here he put us at ease, knowing we had some recent bad experiences, we trust him implicitly, I'd leave my cats in his care any time. He's always come through. His staff is also very caring, and I don't think you can train what this vet brings to animals in the best vet hospitals...you have to be born with the gift, and he is obviously very gifted in this way: this place is the real deal.

I have been taking my pets (First my cat Loki, who was a adoption/rescue, and then my cat batman, also a rescue) here for awhile now, couple years... Doctor Bindra and staff are awesome, they work well with the animals (even my grumpy cat who one could swear is a dog he can be such a tough guy...) and works with you as a customer to make you feel at ease with whats going on, and give you options to deal with the situation. I highly recommend this office as I truly feel Dr. Bindra is one of those great vets who truly loves every single animal that comes through his door, and wants to make sure they are all taken care of.

Dr. Bindra and his staff have a passion for animals. I have multiple weenies and Dr. Bindra has been wonderful dealing with the herd and their problems. But recently I took in a fospice rescue. Josie was balding and lumpy and only had one eye. With Dr. Bindra's help we made her last five months so wonderful. She grew hair, she got shiny and filled out. She played with us and gave wonderful soulful kisses. When it was time, Dr. Bindra and his staff gave us dignity and compassion like I have never experienced. It was lovely and peaceful. Josie felt safe and so did the family. They went above and beyond, He has our trust. Completely.

There was NO pressure to get the shots, the cost was great and alll the staff was very polite and treated our new little addition with love and kindness.

I was looking for a vet close to where we were located but no one had any appointments available. When I called Gold River they also had no appointments available, but the Doctor asked if I could bring Abby in right away because it was his lunch break, and he was willing to look at her instead of having lunch. I took her in, and he checked her out gave her the meds she needed, and didn't make me put her through any painful, unnecessary tests.\nI can't tell you how much I appreciated his kindness in giving up his break to make my dog more comfortable!\nHe is definitely in the right business because you can tell he loves animals.\n

This Dr. is amazing. We've had good and bad experiences over the 30 years we've each been ""parent"" to various pets, from tadpoles to horses, but mostly cats. When we brought our kitties here he put us at ease, knowing we had some recent bad experiences, we trust him implicitly, I'd leave my cats in his care any time. He's always come through. His staff is also very caring, and I don't think you can train what this vet brings to animals in the best vet hospitals...you have to be born with the gift, and he is obviously very gifted in this way: this place is the real deal.

On the day we had to say goodbye to our family pet Oreo, He sat us down and told us what was happening and when it was time for his passing. Gold River Pet Hospital has gone above and beyond.
