I just gotten a puppy chihuahua about 5 months old and I used a flea treatment the kind you squeeze on their neck and I used to much. to my surprise when I called this office at 2:50pm (they closed at 3pm) and the doctor agreed to stay and wait for me to see my dog I was shocked yet very thankful. Upon arriving at the office the staff was extremely kind and caring. After examine my dog the vet prescribed some antibiotics and also gave her an injection of the antiobiotics to start off with just to help her start feeling better sooner. That along with staying after normal business hours just to see my dog was worth all 5 stars I would give 10 stars if I could. I was initially referred to this vet by my mother in law and she has always had nothing but great things to say about this vet office and now I can see why. The prices are extremely reasonable, the staff is very kind and really care about the well being of your pet. Now my dog is better then ever and back to her happy playful self. I have been taking my kitty to this vet since 2007 and I find the vet to be efficient and friendly. His cat-side waiting room is always clean and his receptionist is very friendly and helpful. The exam room is always clean and tidy. The vet is good with our kitty who is scared to death and ready to attack every time he visits but Dr. Manget is able to gently examine him. I don't see why the negative reviews. They really went above and beyond for my dog and I. (sad story, be prepared.)My dog Max was diagnosed with cancer of the lungs, liver, and it was starting to spread to his heart. We had no idea until we took him in for a back x-ray one day. The cancer was spreading and there was nothing that could be done. He was still so lively and happy I couldn't bare the thought of putting him to sleep when I knew he still had time to live out his life. Dr. Mangat gave me his card and told me to call if ever I needed him, because Max will eventually take a turn for the worst. And he was right. Max ended up dying in our kitchen a few days later. He died in my arms and it was so fast and quick we didn't have time to take him to get euthanized. I called Dr. Mangat that night around 9:30pm frantic and so very upset. I didn't know what to do with Max, we couldn't just leave him in our kitchen.  Dr. Mangat got out of bed, and drove to the office, helping us get Max inside. We were able to situate him for a proper cremation. If that's not dedication, they I don't know what is. As angry and as upset as I was that night, knowing that the Vet that cared for my Max actually took the time out of his night to make sure my family and I were ok, means the absolute world to me. Since I'm a U.S. Government employee, i always have last minute assignment to either another States or even over-sea. I trust my dog's with this facility for housing and boarding. Our pet Boxer is getting on in years and recently became ill. My wife took her to Caring pet clinic for its proximity to our home. The veterinarian was great. He empathized with our situation and was very honest and forthright in stating that we could spend hundreds if not thousands of dollars but the outcome would most likely be the same. He also referred us to some pet grief counseling services and offered us some choices to make our pooches time left as comfortable as possible. I'm really gonna miss my dog. Thanks for your honesty. And thanks for not taking advantage of me when I said "" I dont care what it costs"". You could have broke my savings account and yet you chose to do the right thing. HIGHLY COMMENDABLE!!!! One of my cats died last year -- we came home from a long vacation and it turned out our little one decided we'd never come back and stopped eating. :( We rushed him to the clinic and the doc did what he could, but our poor kitty didn't last much longer. The doc called us right away, and as we weren't really in a mood to talk from grief, he knew we couldn't really be intelligent about anything. The next day I called - the doc offered to let us come in and see him or just have him cremated and sent to a pet cemetary at no charge (since we didn't want a grave or anything).
