Dr. Jorgenson and her staff are the BEST. They got my dog in right away, who was not their regular patient. He had a neck injury and they took excellent care of him. All of my questions were answered. He was not afraid to be there and I am sure he will be comfortable returning to them. I am very grateful to the staff at Memorial Beach Veterinary Hospital . They have been caring for my four legged family members for over 20 years. During that time some staff have left, and new staff have been hired. The changes in staff have not diminished the level and quality of care. I know that my pets will receive absolutely the best care. When we walk through the doors of Memorial Beach Veterinary Hospital staff immediately focus attention to the needs of my pet. On many occasions I have received training and information necessary to provide my pets with the best care at home. They work with me as a member of the treatment team. They are available by phone to answer and address non-profit emergency situations. The care received is not just preventative or medical. They've helped with behavioural issues, pet sitting needs, grooming, dental and dietary. Each pet has a designated vet, which help my pets establish trusting relationships and reducing anxiety. I have pet rats, and it is near impossible to find a good vet who will treat them. Dr. Marty is incredible. She makes you feel heard and valued, and always includes you in decision making about treatment plans. All of the receptionists and techs are amazing as well, making an effort to remember your pet's name and reasons for visiting. Dr. Marty, Dr. Cheryl, and Dr. Chick have taken care of our dogs, cat, and chickens for years. They and the rest of the staff at MBVH are the best. They really care about your pet and they want you to feel secure that you’re getting the best care possible for them! Dr. Cheryl and Dr. Marty have both called to check up on our pets after appointments, and the staff even sent me a condolence card after my hen died. A hen! Brought my Lab and Yorkie to get tested for heartworm. Our Lab was fine and our Yorkie had it! After a whole explanation on how serious his condition was already; they gave me a quote for $1,200.00 (based on his weight; he weighs 5.6 pounds) to do the blood work and two treatments. I decided to get a second opinion with Dr. Baldwin down the street. His quote based on his weight for the same treatment and blood work was $380.00. Unless you don't mind getting charged 3 to 4 times more for any treatment; don't go to Memorial beach. Read Less

I've been taking my pets-- two dogs, a cat, and six chickens-- to both Dr. Marty and Dr. Dell at Memorial Beach Vet since 2008. All of my family members bring their pets here as well. They are so good with animals and know how to explain things to humans in a way that makes sense. They are also very patient with anxious pet parents! Dr. Marty has basically saved (or extended) the life of five of my pets, and I love how she cares individually for each animal, even a goofy hen. My dog struggles with skin allergies and after his last two visits with Dr. Dell, she called a few days later to make sure he was doing okay. Now that's service! Most human doctors don't do that. Such a great friendly place! They got my cat in for an appointment so fast, and are taking great care of her. We have been taking our animals to Memorial for 20 plus years. The entire staff is great, especially the front desk & boarding/kennel staff, while the vets are just simply the best. I love this place, and so does Smokey! We adopted him from HAS, and since all his medical records were already here, we decided to continue having him seen here, despite family/friend recommendations to go to "the other vet" in town. Dr. Dell has been amazing. I am definitely always a worried pet mom, and want to make sure everything I'm doing is the best for Smokey. They are always very open to scheduling last minute "emergency" visits, and are very accommodating to finding treatment options that fit your budget. Plus they are significantly cheaper than alot of other hospitals!I also highly recommend their boarding. We board Smokey here every time we have to leave town for a few days and we have a peace of mind that if something were to go wrong, he is in great hands. The staff their LOVES Smokey and he always gets amazing treatment. I feel like everyone there treats him as if he were their own dog :) You know a vet is good if your dog actually gets excited to go there! Read Less

I brought in my yellow lab to see Cheryl Dell when she worked at Adobe Pet Hospital in Petaluma since my lab was lethargic, no appetite, regurgitating and salivating. $600.00 later Cheryl Dell only prescribed Pepcid AC, even though my dogs white cell count was 30,000 (normal is 11,000). Within 10 hours I brought my lab to the Rohnert Park emergency hospital where she had to undergo an emergency hysterectomy and has esophagitis.
