Dr. Sung has always been very kind to us and our kitties. Humans and animals alike are greeted and recognized when we walk in the door, and Dr. Sung is one of the only vets that my senior kittizen didn't hiss at constantly during her long, cranky life. When her time came Dr. Sung and his staff were extremely sweet and kind and gentle, offered words of support and send us a condolence card. Our other cats don't mind him either, plus it's only a few minutes away from us.There have been a couple of times when I felt like this clinic charged more than others would have, but I get that it's a one vet operation and there are a lot of costs. First time visitor and me and my pit bull Ginger will be back if we need a good vet. Exam fee was fair and there were no sales pitches. My pit is a red nose and she will bite if she feels threatened. The Dr had owned a red nose before and understood Ginger's behavior.I took her in for a spotty rash that had been developing on her skin. It was bumpy and would turn waxy like with hair loss. Dr. prescribed an oral med and a shampoo. Best $190 (includes exam fee of $69) I've spent in awhile. My Ginger is already clearing up and returning to her happy go lucky self again. And that makes her daddy a very very happy guy.Thank you!!! Read Less

I feel very lucky to have found this wonderful pet clinic. Dr. Sung is incredibly knowledgeable with a great professional ethic. Initially, I brought in my 2 month old German Shepherd puppy for his first checkup with booster shots. During which I had a long conversation with Dr. Sung. I feel I myself have a lifetime's knowledge re pets, particularly German Shepherds, and am confident I can spot all the red flags that would suggest a veterinarian's expertise is not up to par with other pet doctors. Suffice it to say, Dr. Sung is the most knowledgeable pet doctor I've ever met, and I have met a great many. Most impressively, he continues keeping an open mind while learning the latest pet care developments, medicines, allergies, trends, and other concerns, as he frequently attends conferences all over the country. Any question you can ask him, he will give you the most up to date and well considered professional answer. If you push a little further with "what would you yourself do?" Dr. Sung also will give you his own personal views and perspectives and why the care he gives his own pets might differ from the establishment's. Seriously, I think Dr. Sung is great and so too is his staff. Every person who works at the clinic demonstrably has a great way with animals and seem to truly love their furry friends. Read Less

Last Year my beloved cat Darling Blue passed away while I was dropping him at this clinic on an emergency basis. He was suffering from a blockage and he was in his last breath as Dr. Sung casually check him but unfortunately he didn't make it. It was very hard for me but I accepted it. As I was crying at the waiting room and waiting for my pets body to be return to me the first thing the doctor handed me was the bill for $75.00 and I had to pay first before they will give me my pets body. Without a word of consolation just a blank stare and wanted to get paid. I was in a state of shock and all they care about is the damn bill. I won't recommend this place. Read Less

Very knowledgeable and caring doctor. The staff is also very caring. Dr. Sung literally saved our dog's life! We have an older Shih-Tzu and she had bladder stones, the size of a golf ball! It got to the point where my dog was peeing every hour. Long story short, he performed a surgery to remove the stones and now she is this vibrant dog! I will take her out for a walk at 10pm and she can hold it til 8 am. We are so grateful because we love our dog so much! Thank You Dr. Sung and staff! I would definitely recommend this place to family and friends! Read Less

We have taken our lab to Dr. Sung for over a year now. The first time was to get her first regular shots. He noticed a small rash on her stomach, asked us about it, and prescribed something that may help (it was irritation from the grass in our backyard.) We were then charged extra for his consultation fee on the rash - something he noticed and we did not ask about. I took her back for symptoms of a bladder infection about a month later and he would not prescribe anything to manage the pain or try to kill the infection until test results came back to determine the "type" of bladder infection she may have. Meanwhile, my dog suffered for an extra week and peed constantly all over the house. Trying to give him the benefit of the doubt, we took our dog back recently to get her next annual shots. He came in, made a comment about her collar being too loose, referred to our female dog as "he", never asked how she was doing, administered her shots and walked out. After being a patient of his multiple times, he didn't seem to remember our dog or us and didn't seem to care. His tone is condescending and rude and I have finally decided we will not be taking our dog back. Read Less

I wish I could give this clinic NEGATIVE 5 stars!!!!The vet was a VERY POOR LISTENER!! I brought my elderly cat in because she had been sneezing, not eating for days, and overall just not feeling well. I was lectured in a very CONDESCENDING way that my cat was fat and had to go on a diet.  My cat was already not eating for several days.  Going on a diet was not her immediate issue, yet he must have spent most of the visit talking about how fat my cat was. Let's remember that I brought her in because she was sneezing and not eating. I was told that the sneezing was due to a virus, yet he prescribed antibiotics to her.  I too have a medical background and you know what, viruses are not treated with antibiotics!  I told him that it was very difficult for me to medicate her yet he kept PRESSURING me to give them to her. I was back and forth for a month and she was still not doing any better. He did some blood tests on her and told me that she had an abnormal thyroid. My cat continued to decline rapidly, so I took her to another vet hospital who, after reviewing the records, showed that she did not have a thyroid condition at all.  After 1 visit, the vet found a large lump that was sampled at a pathology lab and was found that she had cancer.  Not only did Dr. Sung MISDIAGNOSE my cat, he prescribed medication to her that was not even warranted and he allowed her to suffer unnecessarily. I cannot recommend this place more! The desk and support staff are kind, compassionate, and friendly. I had to bring my cat in on a bit of an emergency, he was new to us and we did not have an established veterinarian. Dr. Sung was fantastic! My cat dislikes almost everyone and everything (he was ferrel), and he was so patient with this Dr!Since we have gone back for all veterinary services, and we still truly appreciate the candor of everyone in the office.
