I have been using this Veterinarians office for the past 20 years with my 4 pitbulls. I have never had 1 problem ever. Everyone is amazing. Ive been going to Dr. Brink for years and I love her! Shes patient with all my over protective ridiculous questions and shes honest. I have also had times when I have had to see another doctor (just because of timing) and both other doctors I saw were great. I think the best part of this office though is the girl up front. I dont know her name, but shes been there forever, shes extremely knowledgeable and so kind to all the animals. She really is so great!Love this office! Read Less

I took my dog, mad max, to this clinic because he had an ear infection. Poor guy :'(. The moment I walked into the clinic, the entire staff was wonderful! From the receptionists to the technicians. I came here with my cat that was acting weird and the doctor took good care of her. She ended up having a UTI and needed antibiotics (which she hated) but they worked and she was all cleared up quickly, the doctor even called to let me know her test came back clear. This is a great veterinary office, dr brink is an amazing dr that is always caring, honest and realistic with treating my pets! She helped me with a cat with eye issues, along with spays and neuters for my other cats. I never have to wait in the waiting room and they always get me in quick every time I've had to call. honestly, I feel like this place would charge you for breathing their air and sitting in the waiting room if they could.... No consideration for a pet owner in finical difficulty. You better have the money all upfront. Example: One time, they charged me for cutting 3 of my dogs nails because they couldn't cut the other two black ones. They charged me for an incomplete job. My family moved about 45 minutes away from HB and decided to try a vet closer to where we live. Boy, was that eye opening. Typically, what started out as regular annual tests for an older animal (urine and blood) - quickly escalated into $1000 bills due to over-interpretation of results and extraneous tests looking for problems that were highly unlikely. I finally decided to take my dog back to Dr. Brink and was thrilled with her logical assessments and reasonable prescription of lab exams. Unfortunately, my Ginger finally succumbed to her disease, and both Ginger and us owners were treated with kindness and compassion. Not only by Dr. Brink but her very nice staff as well. Please seriously consider this info before taking your INDOOR cat to this vet. They believe - according to what I was told on a lengthy phone call - indoor cats should be vaccinated for Feline Leukemia. This  despite the recent research showing it completely unnecessary and likely harmful as many cats vaccinated this way have developed cancer in the 7- 9th year of life. In fact many breeders will not honor a health guarantee if a cat is vaccinated for Feline Leukemia. Cats must have constant contact and exchange of fluids to catch this from another cat who carries it. An indoor cat, tested free of the disease, cannot transmit it otherwise. They WILL NOT SEE OR TREAT YOUR PET WITHOUT THIS VACCINE. No exceptions I was told.  Needless to say, I went elsewhere with my indoor, disease free, kitten for what I needed. Read Less

Warner West Vet ClinicHuntington Beach CAHave been going to Dr Karen for several years with our French Bulldog, and you assume its a good clinic until there is an issue.  That issue happened today.  Took our dog in for a simple nail trim and low and behold one of the nails was cut way too short.  When we got him home there was blood all over our car leather seat!  He ran in the house and got blood all over the carpet and his nail would not stop bleeding!  We had to go to a close by Petsmart and get a powder to stop blood, bandages, tape, rug stain remover, lucky to have our own rug shampoo machine and husband doing that now.  Blood all over my legs and clothes!!!  Called Dr Karen for at least money back but nope! I took my dog in because she has been scratching her ear a lot lately and I thought maybe it could be an ear infection. I do a walk in and it cost extra as opposed to an appointment, but they weren't even busy (only one person ahead of me and she was leaving soon after I got there). When the Vet comes in her expression and attitude was that of contempt towards me (I don't know why). I tell her my dog might have a problem with her ear, maybe an infection, and so she checks it out and says the dog is completely fine. Relieved, I tell her that's great and then I get ready to leave then she says wait and that she wants to do a ear wax cytology (not telling me it cost extra); and this is after telling me my dog is completely fine. I agree to the cytology to assure my dog's health. Afterwards the test says my dog is fine. Then the Vet says since she was scratching her ear she might have fleas; so she runs a comb through my dogs fur and doesn't say anything about my dogs conditions, but assures me that I need flea medication. And prescribes 6 months medication. I go to pay and the fee for a walk in is $50, Cytology was $50, and the flea medication was $200+. Fed my dog the flea medication that night (as instructed) and next morning I took her to another Vet. He said my dog doesn't have fleas and I tell him that I gave her medication last night, and he says it takes 24 hours to fully work. OUTRAGEOUS! I stopped feeding my dog the medication after this. Till this day I have no problems with fleas. DON'T GO HERE! IF THEY THINK YOU'RE IGNORANT OR DON'T LIKE YOU; THEY WILL TAKE ADVANTAGE OF YOU! Read Less

I am so happy I found Dr. LEE. Our dog, Pepper  has a hemotoma on his ear. We took Pepper  to our usual  vet, who will remain  nameless, and they wanted to perform  surgery, etc for almost 1000 00.Dr Lee gave him antibiotics, a cone and treatment  for 200.00. Said surgery not necessary at all. This is not  just about money, as Pepper  is a member  of our family,  but Dr Lee  really cares. He spent as much time as needed, explained everything  in detail, showed us how to care for his ear and kept  asking if we had any questions. We are now Dr Lee patients for life! Read Less

We have been looking for a veterinarian in our area who really cares for their patients.  I found it!!!!! Not only was it sparkling clean, the staff was fantastic. I had an emergency, made the apmt for the next day, and was in and out within. 25 minutes. That includes all new paperwork and all the medications. These guys are the best! They clearly love animals and will help you give the best care for your pets. They aren't all about making you pay tons of money and their advice is always solid. I've been taking my cat here for a year now and he loves being there. I even board him there when I go on a trip and they always let me know how he liked his stay. I took my cat to the spay/neuter clinic a few months ago and everything went great! The front office staff were very friendly and answered all my questions and I left her feeling like she was in good hands. I received a call saying the surgery would be an extra $20 since my cat was in heat. I picked her up and she seemed like her usual, spunky self. When our 16-year-old dog Porkchop passed away, my boyfriend and I did not know where to turn - he had recently moved away from our other vet. Warner West Pet Clinic took care of Porkchop with dignity and care. They even gave us a sweet paw print. It was such a nice touch that we were not expecting.Since then, we have since adopted a cat from Warner West. She was actually turned in as a kitten the day Porkchop passed, and we adopted her a week later. This clinic has since provided our cat it's care. Their prices are reasonable and they do a great job at explaining every treatment/process. My little black cat was chewing her tail and hind quarters bald. She was suffering. I called Warner West Pet Clinic. The staff member I spoke to was very patient and friendly on the phone. She listened to me and did not rush me off the phone. I arrived 5 minutes early and was led to the exam room at my appointment time. The doctor was very friendly and compassionate. She was also very thorough. She did not rush and explained my cats problem. She drained my cats anal glands and gave her a shot to relieve the itching. She recommended Advantage flea control. They even applied it to my cat. The charges were reasonable. My cat got instant relief and is doing much better. She stopped chewing her tail and she is happy and playful again. Glad I didn't let the one bad review keep me from trying this Clinic.  Last week a different Vet told me that my cat was going to die.  Today the doctor told me my cat was going to live.  Gave my cat some medication and when I got home, my cat ate everything in her plate - just like when she was a kitten.  I hope this improvement is permanent.I liked the fact that this clinic is busy, but not so busy that I have to wait in a lobby full of animals.  They also have a very cool house cat watching over everything.I will update after my next visit. I randomly found this vet online and I'm very happy I did. I took my cat in for a skin problem that he was having. He's 10 years old so we've definitely seen our fair share of vets. Dr Brink, Warner West you have lost our business for good. We have been bringing our Boston terrier (Eddy) 9yrs old and Golden Retriever (Jenna) 9 yrs old since they were puppies. Your office has done 2 luxated patellas on Eddy those went well; a visiting surgeon performed the operations. 2 years ago we brought Eddy in with bulging swollen left eye, You stated it was probably allergies gave us some drops and said give him some Benadryl from that day on his left eyeball changed color and darkened, no more brown Iris. Within the past 2 years you have seen him at least 4 times for general check ups and to remove a small tumor on the lower eyelid of the same left eye. Each time I brought him in I specifically asked what is wrong with eddy's eye and why has it darkened? You claimed that the initial medication would have done that. His left eye has been dark and more bulging than the right eye for the past 2 years. Last week I asked my wife to take Eddy in to see you. His Eye was looking worse than ever. At this time, the first time you decide to take a pressure test of both his eyes. Right eye pressure reading of 14, Left eye pressure reading of 85. Hmmm. You then say Eddy has glaucoma and is completely blind in the left eye and that he is in pain, and will need to have his eye removed. Well Dr Brink how long do you think Eddy has been in Pain? He can't tell us. But you being the professional should have tested his eye sooner. We then take Eddy to an Ophthalmologist who determines that Eddy has Secondary Glaucoma and that it would be best to remove his eye. He has probably had Migraine type pain for over a year. That is what kills us. We never wanted him to ever experience pain we did no know what to ask could be done. You let this go on. This is a classic case of utter incompetence and complete indifference to a potentially debilitating disease. You have lost our confidence in you. I don't know if I would call this Malpractice.
