We had just arrived at the Jackson Rancheria RV Park with our dogs in tow, when our little Pomeranian mix had an incident that caused her front tooth to come loose and misaligned.  Because the tooth was not loose, we could not remove it ourselves, so we started calling vets in the area.  Jackson Creek was our third vet we called that day, but the first ones that agreed to see us last minute.  Luckily they were not far from the RV park.  We brought our little girl in and they saw us right away.  Dr. Matt (I think that was his name) provided some reasonable options for us and we agreed to have her tooth extracted by him.  We came back to pick her up later that day and we were pleased to see that they charged us even less than they originally quoted us.  How often does that happen?!  On top of that, the nurses and reception staff were just as friendly as can be.  If we lived in the area, this would definitely be the Vet we would be bringing our animals to.  We thank Jackson Creek Veterinary for being available to us, treating us very well and taking care of Ruby.  You all rock!  :) Read Less

I made a midnight run to Jackson creek vet last week with a rescued kitten that was very sick. Dr. Yessa and the entire staff have been amazing. I have never been to a more caring and accommodating vet. They didn't push unnecessary tests or medications and gave this kitten their full attention. Just picked up my son (pit bull terrier) from here where they had to remove a fox tail from his nose . I was SO pleased with the staff and Dr. Yack!! They honestly went above and beyond what I expected. I called around other vets in this town and they were so rude plus their ball park estimate for this preloaded ute was two and a half more then what I paid here. I love that they broke down exactly what I was paying for so I felt comfortable with the price.They were extremely helpful but more importantly friendly. They made me feel so comfortable to leave my dog there for them to work with him. My dog is a lover but even if he wasn't the staff here really love these animals and my son had no problem being taken away from us because I'm sure he felt so at home. Also the building is beautiful and clean! I jokingly told my kids I could turn this place into my home. Honestly can't stress enough how happy I was bringing my dog here it felt like we were just bringing him to a relatives home for them to check on him. My breeder sent me here because I was fostering a dog for her. OMG, LOVE this place and Dr. Stacy is awesome, if I didn't live 1.5 hours away I would use this clinic for my dogs also. I love this vet. All of them are so caring and amazing with my animals. I have 5 dogs and they have seen them all. My male corgi hates the vet but  dr. Mitch was so good with him now he loves to go. Dr. Bob was also wounderful with me when I had to put down one of my babies. You really can't ask for better. The girls up front are also so nice and caring. I have gone to this clinic  a few times .  Did a good job treating my dogs for minor things.I took of my dogs in who had accidently swallowed a tampon. They had to preform expository surgery . They did not inform me that after the surgery, and when the office closed that there would not be anyone there to watch him and monitor his condition.  They called me in the morning to tell me that he had gotten very cold over night  and they were trying to warm him back up . The vet also told me that he was with out a heating pad ,because of fear of fire over night .  My dogs kidneys began to fail.  I took him to another vet even though Jackson was going to let me take him home . When I got him to the other vet ,that doctor said he does not look good,did blood test and it was not good ,he probly had a 25%  chance. Told the new vet to do everyone thing they could do to save my dog. But they could not save him. If I would of known that there was know one their at night ,I would have not let them do the surgery and they should of told me they could not do such a evasive surgery, because they didn't have staff at night. I will never ever take any of my animals there for any reason. Read Less

We are very happy with the veterinary clinic and the quality of care they give;  and equally happy with the Bed and Breakfast.  Whether we are boarding our little dog for day care or an extended stay, we are always so pleased with the care he receives from the staff.  When we drop him off his tail is wagging and he seems  so happy to be there.  That is a major accomplishment as he is a bit spoiled, to say the least, and has separation anxiety.  However, I can truthfully say that it doesn't appear that he even misses us when we leave him.  That makes our day. I've had to come here two times and both were emergencies with my pets on the weekend when their normal vet wasn't open. Everyone who works here is so nice and comforting, they answer all questions you may have and definitely try to keep you calm when your worried for your furry friend. I am now officially moving both of my pets to them for full time care. The prices are comparable for the area, and their vaccine prices are actually lower priced than some. I took both my dogs to the pet bed and breakfast for a weekend stay. When I picked them up both dogs were happy and well cared for. The employee went over the dogs feeding card etc and said they did very well with staff and the other animals and that they had happy faces and good boys written on the cards. I had one of my cats in for a dental treatment and it could not have gone any better. I was told by other vet clinics my cat needed an extraction so I went to JC for a second opinion and had the work done. The cost was about $270 almost $500 less than other estimates. The people here are so amazing and caring. Our sweet little kitty Olive was 17 years old and wasn't in good health so we knew it was time to take her in. We have used this vet for about 5 years for our 4 dogs and a litter of puppies that we had.  The clinic is clean and looks very nice.  The staff are all very friendly to us and our dogs.  The vet we see always follows up with a call after a day or two to see how our dog is doing which makes us feel like he really does care.  They are a bit of a drive, but after trying a vet in our town with horrible results, we will always make the drive to Jackson. Jackson Creek has been our choice of vet for 13 years now. They have treated all our pets with love and compassion. Even when we had a pet that was at their end, they made us feel as if it was their family member too, that was going. The way they handle putting our fur-children to sleep, made it much easier for me to say goodbye. When adding a new pet, they have wonderful packages to get all the shots and things they'll need to be happy, healthy pets. Pros- These folks have been our vets for 15+ years.  Overall I love the doctors and think they do a wonderful job as our vets!  They are kind and compassionate, send condolence cards when the worst happens and explain every procedure and why.Love Dr. Amanda, Dr. Bob and Dr. StaceyCons- Most expensive vet around, for even the basic stuff.Negatively impacting upon their business, in my opinion, is the older office staff.   Honestly, they make us feel like we're imposing upon their time, do not greet us as we come in the door, are always scowling, sheesh, I don't want a band, but a polite hello, we will be with you in a minute is not too much to expect.  Have since found another vet in town that we are much happier with and who does care that we have a choice for our pets good care. Let me tell you...I have had dogs, horses and all breeds of animals my entire life and lived in many areas of California. I have experienced several "clinics" and vets. Dr. Bob and his staff are AMAZING. They are compassionate and so accomodating. I drive about 70 miles "each way" to go to their clinic. They have put dogs to rest for me and saved dogs lives that I was told would not be able to live. They are all about the quality of the life of the animal, but isn't that what it's about.
