I have taken my dog there in the over the last year, in on one occasion their medical records were completely in accurate. They have had the wrong date for the issue that was appearing on the medical records when I told him Evan the office manager that it had happened on a different date he kept dancing around the issue. I have called them over two weeks now and have left numerous messages and I keep getting the runaround. I am very disgusted in the way they have handled the situation rather than picking up the phone and calling me back to rectify the situation Evan who is the office manager has been giving me the run around and keep telling me the office administrator is going to call me back and they never called me back. I don't trust their judgment the medical records for this dog or the situation at all. I think they're trying to discriminate against me and my dog. I've asked on numerous occasions to get the medical records from the doctors notes and they keep refusing to send them to me when I have a right to get them. I've never met an office treat customers with such disrespect and ignoring them.
Also I don't trust their billing process that tell you to go to Billing for one thing how many come back to pick up your dog other bills are on there without your permission. All they have to do is to have someone call me and go to the medical records to rectify the situation that's all I ask for them.

Dr. Walker and his staff are amazing. Their number one concern is always the pet. They have the pet's best interest at heart. Dr. Walker always takes the time to explain everything in detail and answer any questions I may have. Moreover, sometimes I email him photos and or questions because I am overly cautious, and he always responds. They are kind, patient, genuine, caring... I can go on and on. Our first visit to the La Canada Pet Clinic was wonderful! We brought in our 10 week puppy for his shots and we're promptly provided a room within 10 minutes. The veterinary assistant was friendly, professional and I felt genuinely loved animals as she gently placed our puppy on the tabletop scale. Even though our pup had an accident she assured us not to worry about it. Our puppy was seen by Dr. Walker, Veterinarian/Owner of the clinic. He was an excellent example of how every veterinarian should be. Kind, professional and genuinely concerned with our puppy's growth & care at home. We were given praise and suggestions with how to improve his feeding schedule. We were pleasantly surprised with all the questions since he showed an active interest in how our puppy will be raised. We were informed of areas to avoid when taking him to a park that would put his health at risk. Unlike other vets this was not a pitch on a vaccine but just to make us cautious and aware. Also he had a sense of humor which is always fun to come across. Checking out was also prompt and easy. (I was even offered a complimentary custom ID tag) We are so grateful to have La Canada Pet Clinic near usand are looking forward to bringing our puppy here as he continues to grow.

We recently had to put down our five year old Schnauzer, Jazzy. Dr. Woody was decisive, firm and yet very compassionate. I highly recommend La Canada Pet Clinic for their professionalism, bedside manner and honest care and concern for the wellbeing of our four legged loved ones. I'm saddened that Jazzy is no longer with us; but grateful that she's not in any pain.

I am so delighted to have found such a caring practice. I've seen a number of vets but have never felt such a level of comfort in trusting that my furbaby is receiving the very best of care. I love La Canada Pet Clinic! They have taken care of three of my cats. Dr. Walker is a caring, gentle, and devoted veterinarian.. He explains everything thoroughly and professionally. He answers all my questions. It is obvious he loves his job and it shows in the way the clinic is run--from the light, bright reception room with the extremely helpful receptionists to the exam rooms with the stainless steel tables. This has a calming effect on the animals. They also provide boarding for your pet. This is a 5 star Pet Clinic!

Having been a pet owner my whole life and having dealt with many different veterinarians in many different states, I can honestly say that this clinic is outstanding! The staff is very hospitable and friendly, the environment is pleasant and very clean, the entire facility is immaculate. The most important comment I can add is that the veterinarian, Dr. Woody Walker, is a superbly knowledgeable vet who has always advised our family very successfully. He is very conservative in his treatments and he even has an amazing sense of humor at times when we and our pets might be struggling with inevitable illnesses that pets can experience. It is very comforting to know we can always, always count on extremely professional and excellent care from everyone at La Canada Pet Clinic.

We have made the mistake of taking our dogs here for years and putting up with the difficult receptionists and the trouble they created in scheduling appointments. We had assumed that they cared about out pets and that they would help in an emergency. Then when our dog vomited multiple times and was too weak to stand up, the vet told us (direct quote) "We are busy, I don't have time to talk to you".
No apologies.
No expression of concern for our pets condition
No offer to have the staff try to make alternate arrangements.
Just "I am too busy to talk to you."
If you value your pets health and want to be sure they are cared for by someone who knows their history and prior condition, then stay away. Far away.

I have been going to Dr. Walker for years and he is an incredible vet. Very caring, knowledgeable, and kind. He has treated my two dogs and two cats. In the case of one of my dogs, he diagnosed a serious problem that no other vet (before I found Dr. Walker) had been able to diagnose. He diagnosed the problem and remedied it in a short period of time and she was able to live out her remaining seven years pain free. He is not god and cannot always be perfect (I know of no human being who is), but I know that I would never entrust the care of my beloved pets to any other doctor than Dr. Walker and his staff--Dr. Shultz, in particular, as well as his receptionists. His compassion and knowledge never ceases to amaze me as he has treated my pets through the years. I am so very very thankful that another friend recommended Dr. Walker to me years ago. I wish there was a ten-star rating--it would be well deserved!

I am the first to be skeptical about some of the vets and clinics in the greater LA area. But I have to say that this place exceeded my expectations. Dr. Shultz is SUCH a great vet, that her experience just glows when she walks in. Straight to the point, and exhibits obvious compassion for animals. Other vets have tried to talk me into unnecessary services (like sub-cutaneous fluid injection for a dog that didn't need it). Not Dr. Schultz. She will not waste your time, or empty your wallet. Very satisfied, and can recommend her highly. We drive the extra mile (as we live in Western Glendale) because we like her so much, and enjoy her intelligent approach.

Pathetic, offensive & heartbreaking. We loved our beautiful little boy--he was my constant companion since he was 3 weeks old--and thanks to these idiots, he's gone. He was only 2. The Rating is actually '0', but Citysearch insists on a minimum of '1'. They suck.

After moving here with our three abyssinian cats from London England, we had had some bad experiences early on with a few other Vets including VCA (Horrible!!)
Anyway, Dr. Walker is great with our beloved cats. He's very thorough, yet very tender and doesn't handle them roughly. He seems a very knowledgeable vet as well, and we are happy to have found a caring vet like him. We won't go anywhere else! Our cats are our children and we are happy to have found a fabulous vet.
Lastly, I didn't find the receptionist rude the last time we went in (summer '08) - maybe they fired the rude girl that others have mentioned.

I have taken my dog there in the over the last year, in on one occasion their medical records were completely in accurate. They have had the wrong date for the issue that was appearing on the medical records when I told him Evan the office manager that it had happened on a different date he kept dancing around the issue. I have called them over two weeks now and have left numerous messages and I keep getting the runaround. I am very disgusted in the way they have handled the situation rather than picking up the phone and calling me back to rectify the situation Evan who is the office manager has been giving me the run around and keep telling me the office administrator is going to call me back and they never called me back. I don't trust their judgment the medical records for this dog or the situation at all. I think they're trying to discriminate against me and my dog. I've asked on numerous occasions to get the medical records from the doctors notes and they keep refusing to send them to me when I have a right to get them. I've never met an office treat customers with such disrespect and ignoring them.
Also I don't trust their billing process that tell you to go to Billing for one thing how many come back to pick up your dog other bills are on there without your permission. All they have to do is to have someone call me and go to the medical records to rectify the situation that's all I ask for them.

Our first visit to the La Canada Pet Clinic was wonderful! We brought in our 10 week puppy for his shots and we're promptly provided a room within 10 minutes. The veterinary assistant was friendly, professional and I felt genuinely loved animals as she gently placed our puppy on the tabletop scale. Even though our pup had an accident she assured us not to worry about it. Our puppy was seen by Dr. Walker, Veterinarian/Owner of the clinic. He was an excellent example of how every veterinarian should be. Kind, professional and genuinely concerned with our puppy's growth & care at home. We were given praise and suggestions with how to improve his feeding schedule. We were pleasantly surprised with all the questions since he showed an active interest in how our puppy will be raised. We were informed of areas to avoid when taking him to a park that would put his health at risk. Unlike other vets this was not a pitch on a vaccine but just to make us cautious and aware. Also he had a sense of humor which is always fun to come across. Checking out was also prompt and easy. (I was even offered a complimentary custom ID tag) We are so grateful to have La Canada Pet Clinic near usand are looking forward to bringing our puppy here as he continues to grow.

I highly recommend La Canada Pet Clinic for their professionalism, bedside manner and honest care and concern for the wellbeing of our four legged loved ones. I love La Canada Pet Clinic! They have taken care of three of my cats. Dr. Walker is a caring, gentle, and devoted veterinarian.. He explains everything thoroughly and professionally. He answers all my questions. It is obvious he loves his job and it shows in the way the clinic is run--from the light, bright reception room with the extremely helpful receptionists to the exam rooms with the stainless steel tables. This has a calming effect on the animals. They also provide boarding for your pet. This is a 5 star Pet Clinic!

Having been a pet owner my whole life and having dealt with many different veterinarians in many different states, I can honestly say that this clinic is outstanding! The staff is very hospitable and friendly, the environment is pleasant and very clean, the entire facility is immaculate. The most important comment I can add is that the veterinarian, Dr. Woody Walker, is a superbly knowledgeable vet who has always advised our family very successfully. He is very conservative in his treatments and he even has an amazing sense of humor at times when we and our pets might be struggling with inevitable illnesses that pets can experience. It is very comforting to know we can always, always count on extremely professional and excellent care from everyone at La Canada Pet Clinic.

We have made the mistake of taking our dogs here for years and putting up with the difficult receptionists and the trouble they created in scheduling appointments. We had assumed that they cared about out pets and that they would help in an emergency. Then when our dog vomited multiple times and was too weak to stand up, the vet told us (direct quote) "We are busy, I don't have time to talk to you".
No apologies.
No expression of concern for our pets condition
No offer to have the staff try to make alternate arrangements.
Just "I am too busy to talk to you."
If you value your pets health and want to be sure they are cared for by someone who knows their history and prior condition, then stay away. Far away.

I have been going to Dr. Walker for years and he is an incredible vet. Very caring, knowledgeable, and kind. He has treated my two dogs and two cats. In the case of one of my dogs, he diagnosed a serious problem that no other vet (before I found Dr. Walker) had been able to diagnose. He diagnosed the problem and remedied it in a short period of time and she was able to live out her remaining seven years pain free. He is not god and cannot always be perfect (I know of no human being who is), but I know that I would never entrust the care of my beloved pets to any other doctor than Dr. Walker and his staff--Dr. Shultz, in particular, as well as his receptionists. His compassion and knowledge never ceases to amaze me as he has treated my pets through the years. I am so very very thankful that another friend recommended Dr. Walker to me years ago. I wish there was a ten-star rating--it would be well deserved!

I am the first to be skeptical about some of the vets and clinics in the greater LA area. But I have to say that this place exceeded my expectations. Dr. Shultz is SUCH a great vet, that her experience just glows when she walks in. Straight to the point, and exhibits obvious compassion for animals. Other vets have tried to talk me into unnecessary services (like sub-cutaneous fluid injection for a dog that didn't need it). Not Dr. Schultz. She will not waste your time, or empty your wallet. Very satisfied, and can recommend her highly. We drive the extra mile (as we live in Western Glendale) because we like her so much, and enjoy her intelligent approach.

Anyway, Dr. Walker is great with our beloved cats. He's very thorough, yet very tender and doesn't handle them roughly. He seems a very knowledgeable vet as well, and we are happy to have found a caring vet like him. We won't go anywhere else! Our cats are our children and we are happy to have found a fabulous vet.
Lastly, I didn't find the receptionist rude the last time we went in (summer '08) - maybe they fired the rude girl that others have mentioned.
