Best vet ever. They care about the pets they treat (all staff are animal lovers). Also, their pricing is reasonable and I've never been kept waiting. Boarding is great too.

The reason why I gave them a one was because they had no compassion and no interest when I told them that my Long Haired chihuahua passed away in the morning and they didn't care less about how UPSET ...
The reason why I gave them a one was because they had no compassion and no interest when I told them that my Long Haired chihuahua passed away in the morning and they didn't care less about how UPSET I was losing my chihuahua. What kind of an animal hospital are you when you don't have any caring or compassion. All they wanted to do is cremate him and charge us money to do that. WHAT KIND OF PEOPLE ARE THEY. CRUEL AND INDIFFERENT. I do not and will never recommend anyone to use their services. TOTALLY UNCALLED FOR BEHAVIOR.

I'd like to thank everybody at this hospital but especially Dr. Ljdia and Amanda for taking care of my toy poodle Mindy. We were on vacation in La Jolla and Mindy came down with a bad ear infection. They were able to see her right away, had all records sent from her regular vet, gave her a thorough examination, sent her home with medication and instructions before our flight. They were kind and gentle with her. Thank you La Jolla Vet Hospital. You rock!

I just want to thank everyone at la Jolla veterinary hospital for being so wonderful to Missy and I. Although my best friend of ten years, is no longer with us, it is so important for me to acknowledge all of the hard work, care, and love that was provided by the receptionists, vet techs, vet assistants, and doctors while Missy was alive. From the routine checkups, to the dental work, surgery, and follow up phone calls (thank you Dr. Bone), we always were very well taken care of. Everyone at this hospital genuinely cares about your pet and they work very hard to provide you and your pet with outstanding service. I am beyond grateful to have met the staff members working here and so glad that Missy was able to shine her bright light on everyone that knew her.

We dropped off our pup here for 2 nights of boarding while visiting San Diego for my races. I was hesitant and worried at first, but after a friendly reception and talking to the staff there, they put me to ease. I'm extremely satisfied. Ninja was happy, and we'll be back here the next time that we're in town.

I have taken my dogs to to this veterinary hospital since 1976. I have never had anything but the best care for my dogs. I would especially like to mention the last interaction I had. My beautiful 16 year old Samoyed was dying and Dr. Breher and one of the vet techs came to my home. The tenderness and care they showed my sweet Acoya was unbelievable! Julie even cried with me. I will never forget that experience and I thank all the Vets and staff at the hospital for all the years they took care of my best friend. I especially want to say to Julie, thank you so much for being there and loving Acoya, and for giving me the opportunity to grieve. Margie Lake

This vet is the best in La Jolla, hands down!! I love the staff and all of the doctors are incredibly compassionate and knowledgeable. They are so good about being transparent about costs and their customer service is the best! Their staff makes me feel so comfortable and I cannot imagine taking my lab any place else. HIGHLY recommend this place!!

I just want to thank everyone at la Jolla veterinary hospital for being so wonderful to Missy and I.
