We've been taking our dogs here for several years. Dr. Boman and Dr. Halsey have treated my dogs for multiple issues and I feel that their assessments are spot on. More importantly, I trust them and the care they recommend for my dogs. The front desk staff and vet techs are awesome. They remember my dogs by name. Definitely a plus that they're open 7 days a week - no emergency vet fees! They're always flexible and I'm able to get my dogs in for appointments when needed. Highly recommend!!

We were in La Mesa visiting relatives. My dog, Amber, started having blood in her pee and Dr. Halsey immediately knew what to do. Amber ended up having a bladder stone that needed to be removed with surgery. The surgery went great and now she’s back home with me!!

We have been seeing Dr. Halsey for years and recently followed her to this hospital. She has always taken great care of my dogs. She answers all my questions in a way I can understand and she writes clear instructions on prescription bottles. This is really important to me especially when you are distressed about the condition of your dog and you can't think straight. The couple times I have been at this location with an appointment, the staff hasn't kept me waiting long to be checked in or out. I really appreciate it when the front desk works efficiently.

Bait and switch. Was referred through SD County low cost spay and neuter program. My wife was quoted $95 and she asked if there were any additional costs. She was told no and she set tje appointment. ...
Bait and switch. Was referred through SD County low cost spay and neuter program. My wife was quoted $95 and she asked if there were any additional costs. She was told no and she set tje appointment.
I dropped the dog off and signed some papers. Is i was signing i notice the cost was $395 on the receptionists paper behind the counter.
Long story short by the time i got in touch with my wife they had already started the procedure.
Be aware the $95 spay doesn't include lab work, catheter, post op pain meds, or the cone collar.
We got an apology and they said they would address the staff member that set up the appointment.

My dog for 3 minutes and made it seem as though it was not serious come to find out it was very serious and absolutely no sympathy they acted as though it was my fault. Staff is rude and inconsiderate do not go here if you care for your pet!!

They were fabulous. They found out what was wrong with my dog and treated him right away. Even though I was being resistant and difficult as a dog parent. They were able to work with me and help my dog. Thank goodness for them. And, this was all on a Sunday afternoon!

Love this vet hospital from the friendly receptionist Alyx, the technician Maris who was so good with my dog Bree and Dr. Boman who really knows what she is doing with my new puppy and it is so close to us even though we r in Bonita this is conveniently located right off the 94 exit Avocado turn right into strip mall almost to the end.
Just brought Bree in to have a baby tooth pulled that was impacting her adult teeth and again she was in and out and treated royally! Thank you Dr. Boman for caring for Bree so well, recouping at home now.
