Pet care is second to none. Staff are always friendly and accommodating, they were able to get both of our dogs in for medical care and did a video diagnosis of our cat during this pandemic. All in the same day. Same day we took the dogs home and one of them got a foxtail in the eye and they were able to get us in and get the foxtail out. We are forever grateful for the care and kindness they show us and our animals every time.

We love everyone here. All vets, techs, receptionists so kind, loving. Pet care is exceptional. Having been in the military, we discovered VCA in the east and we're pleased to find it here. Having a network, it makes transferring records so easy.

Both of my pups have had a great experience here, and I think I've finally found my veterinary! I've been to a lot of veterinarians and none of them left me wanting to go back. I unfortunately haven't been able to go myself, but the feedback from my boyfriend and mom was pleasant. Jennifer and Rachel at the front desk helped me every time I called, and we very accommodating about last minute changes and appointments. I also got a card in the mail from them, signed by their vet, which was very sweet! La Mesa is out of the way for me, but I will continue to come here. Everyone is very nice and my pups were treated well. An awesome team at this VCA!

Great experience! When you get a kitten from the Humane Society, you get a free Vet Check within. 2weeks of adoption. They were great.

Has two separate lobbies one for cats and one for dogs- very nice perk in terms of keeping cats as calm as possible and not having the possibility of a cat chasing incident! Haha The staff is great and they provide complimentary treats for the dogs and refreshments for the humans (the good coffee too!) Your pet's name will be cutely displayed on their marker board of patients for the day :) Dr. Avon is very sweet and personable. It's the little things this office does that makes me love it so much 💖 I always feel my fur babies are well taken care of here. Found this office through Groupon that gave me a free first visit for both pets! They also give military discount which I was very appreciative of.

You pay premium for the 24/7 emergency services. Make sure you have a clear head to think about what is and is not actually of dire urgency or you'll easily spend an extra 30-70% just to get more immediate results from who will usually be a very recent veterinary grad. Older ladies behind the desk can go from super sympathetic and sweet to cold hearted and judgemental and back again in the snap of a finger which is different, and weird to see. Any young guy who works there has always been fine AF though which is always nice when you have a vet emergency but then also feel suddenly compelled to get sexy.

this place is an effing joke-all they want to do is MAKE MONEY. I have a 11 year old indoor outdoor cat that is completely healthy but occasionally gets fleas during the summer. I regularly give her flea medication but once in a while she swallows a flea and gets worms. Petsmart or petco will give her a shot that costs 11 bucks- no questions asked. This place was close so I thought I would give them a try. Right away they say they have to examine her for 61 bucks and then only maybe could they give her a shot. I explain the cat is healthy and they don't give a damn. All they want to do is upsell you. I want to be hassled and upsold I can get that at the furniture store or the car stereo store. This vet is ajoke-avoid at all costs

Pet care is second to none. Staff are always friendly and accommodating, they were able to get both of our dogs in for medical care and did a video diagnosis of our cat during this pandemic. All in the same day. Same day we took the dogs home and one of them got a foxtail in the eye and they were able to get us in and get the foxtail out. We are forever grateful for the care and kindness they show us and our animals every time.

Both of my pups have had a great experience here, and I think I've finally found my veterinary! I've been to a lot of veterinarians and none of them left me wanting to go back. I unfortunately haven't been able to go myself, but the feedback from my boyfriend and mom was pleasant. Jennifer and Rachel at the front desk helped me every time I called, and we very accommodating about last minute changes and appointments. I also got a card in the mail from them, signed by their vet, which was very sweet! La Mesa is out of the way for me, but I will continue to come here. Everyone is very nice and my pups were treated well. An awesome team at this VCA!

Make sure you have a clear head to think about what is and is not actually of dire urgency or you'll easily spend an extra 30-70% just to get more immediate results from who will usually be a very recent veterinary grad.
