CARING, ACCOMODATING & INFORMATIVE. I took my almost 15 year old male Min Pin, (named Reagan), to Rancho Viejo Animal Hospital for the first time on 08/05/15. He was having ongoing gastrointestinal problems and had not eaten in 4 days.
Despite not having appointments available, they accommodated me, and Reagan was seen within an hour after I called. I did not have to wait long in the waiting room, only long enough to complete the single page pet registration paperwork.
Right after registering Reagan, he was evaluated by the Vet Tech, Analia Valerio. It was the most comprehensive evaluation and question process I ever experienced at any veterinary office in 15 years!
I did not wait long for the Veterinarian, Sheryl Eckstein, DVM. Again, Reagan's examination was extensive, and I had the opportunity to have an extensive conversation about Reagan's health and medical history. I felt listened to, and I felt Dr. Eckstein had a sincere concern for my dog's well being.
When it came time to review recommended treatment, the Technician, (Analia Valerio), did not try to upsell me or push me in any way. I was given options and descriptions, then allowed to decide for myself the extent to which Reagan would be treated.
Based on my experience, I will be bringing both my dogs here in the future. Read Less
