Dr. Radcliffe has been taking care of my toy poodle for over fifteen years. He's excellent, everything you could ever ask for in a vet. He's gentle, knowledgeable, honest, patient, very conscientious, and conservative with his treatment. He even follows up with phone calls.
The only complaint with the clinic is the long wait time for the staff, whether on the phone or in person.

I set up my dogs first appointment and arrived 15minutes early as suggested. After waiting almost an hour I was informed that the Dr had an emergency and I would need to wait up to an unknown amount of time or just reschedule. After working from home to accommodate the appointment I was quite upset. It shouldn't take an hour to identify there was an emergency. Other dogs were being taken in and I was left there. I'd asked several times before that if they were ready and was assured I'd be taken care of soon.
The staff was all really freindly and I felt bad leaving in a huff but this was unacceptable. Furthermore, I would have expected a phone call or email with a formal apology for my experience and received neither. Sorry of the 1 star rating but I think its deserving in this circumstance.

Their caring staff of veterinarians, animal technicians and front office personnel have looked after my cats and ensured their well-being with the kind of love and affection that animal lovers could give. I've also boarded my cats there when I've had to go on business trips and although I would rather have a catsitter, having them there is peace of mind.

I've been going to Lafayette Animal Hospital for many years. All of the vets have been wonderful and very professional with all of my animals both dogs and cats. Yesterday I had the pleasure of meeting Dr. O'Dea for the first time. I was really impressed at how kind and gentle he was with my cats. He even was able to get them to relax during his exam and shots!

I've brought several dogs here and the service is exceptional. I trust them with my dogs lives - and I'm that crazy type of person who loves her dogs like children. Dr. Radcliffe and O'Day are amazing - and same with every member of staff I have yet to meet or deal with. Only down side is how expensive they are - but worth it.

I've taken my dog and cats to Lafayette Animal Hospital for over ten years, now, even though it's a longer drive since I moved out of Lafayette.The vets there are all amazing profesionals, and have given my pets excellent care, even through a difficult diagnostic situation and a life-threatening condition. They are very conscientious in providing excellent preventive care, and seem very good about keeping up on the latest in veterinary medical science. Their staff of technicians and assistants are also very skilled and seem to love animals.The icing on the cake is that they are equally good with me, a very worried 'daddy' to my pets, and with my kids, who of course can get very scared when their furry little buddies get sick. The kids actually like their pets' vets!

Lafayette animal hospital has treated my Sharpei for 4+ years and before that my cat. They are an exceptional facility and will go above and beyond for you animal. My dog has a rare chronic illness. The vet spent hours researching this illness and finding out the best treatment for him. About a year later, he called me to let me know that he had been to conference and spoke with the leading expert on this particular problem to get her opinion. For him to even think of my dog was outstanding but to take out the time to get even better information was amazing. I have seen every doctor here at one time or another and have NEVER been disappointed. I highly recommend this veterinarian for anyone who loves their pets and wants the best care possible.
